Omumgorwa Walnut Night

The fragrance of Omumgorwa Walnut was created in 2015 in two versions, but this time they were not separated by genres, but by occasions of use: one for the day and one for the night. Both were designed as unisex and are part of the collection called Ecosystems - Sahara & Arabia Deserts and portray the nomadic spirit of those who start the day in one place and end in another. The creative concept attempts to portray the festivities of the palaces scattered throughout the Arabian Desert, the numerous spices, incenses, dances, and a breathtaking sunrise. Just like in the other duos created by this perfumer, the fragrance of Omumgorwa Walnut Night is very similar to that of the daytime version and features notes of rare Namibian resins (Omumgorwa and Omumbiri), a floral accord with lily, frangipani and Champaca, noble woods, spices and indigenous oils of Ximenia and Sapote. For those who do not know some of these ingredients, here are brief explanations: the Omumgorwa is a resin that only forms after a species of the tree dies naturally and it smells of ripe dates and tends to gain nuances of caramel over the years; the Omumbiri smells like myrrh, but it has a citric and earthy freshness and there is nothing similar in the market; the Champaca is a type of magnolia, but rarer and with a stronger perfume; the Ximenia is known as African sour plum and its oil has honey consistency and helps to prolong the duration of the perfume on the skin, and the Sapote (also known as Mamey) is a fruit widely used to make marmalades and its oil is obtained from the pressed seed. Looking closer, you can see that the ambrette note (obtained from the hibiscus) came out and the frangipani note came in. Coffee is also no longer part of the composition and this, amazingly enough, has greatly changed the way the perfume evolves on the skin. As a result, Omumgorwa Walnut Night became more gourmand, with enhanced floral accord and more caramelized nuances. The output is now less dry and powdery, gaining a more almondy appearance. I also feel less evolution, but on the other hand, the creaminess and sweetness, now enhanced, ended up bringing greater projection and durability: more than eight hours on my skin, in nocturnal use (as indicated). Analyzing the fragrances as a pair, they communicate in an exemplary way: the DNA has been respected and both tell their stories independently, at the same time they clearly reveal the unique personality of their user. Long story short, it's one of those cases where the perfume talks a lot about who you are. I loved to have received and worn this!

Oily with nutty tones - fragrant oil remains on the skin for a long time, it is very pleasant to rub it into the skin. Nomads in the desert, on their way from the Sahara to the Arabian Desert, rejoicing at the festival under the stars ... Some quite hearty treats, and the contentment of relaxation, and bliss .. Some shades of the composition clearly draw the image of nomads - leather and heavy bedspreads saturated with life through and through .... worn saddles and calloused hands of the drivers, numerous utensils, time-tested - all items have their own history and smells, and they all merge together in a composition along with the aromas of the arranged festival in the night - sand, starry sky, flowers, bright eyes and the aromas of concubines , drinks, refreshments, hookah smoke and the magic whisper of storytellers .. there is in all this something inexpressibly eternal ... imperishable ... some point of return, as if every time everything originates from it ... breathing in the aroma, doubts arise - are there fairy tales do the nomads tell? sensations of reality and hidden truth do not leave ... you just need to remember Everything ...

عطر جورماندي برداء شرقي أصيل فيه من الزهور التوابل و الصموغ أصناف شتى منها ما علمناه و منها ما هو نادر و لم نسمع به من قبل في تركيبات العطور ؛ مستوحى من أجواء ليلة في عمق الصحراء تحت ضوء القمر ، يحسن المزاج و له خصائص مهدئة للأعصاب و محفزة للمشاعر و الحواس . إشتق إسمه من راتنج "Omumgorwa" و الذي تستخدمه نساء قبيلة الهيبنا شمال ناميبيا كعطر و صابون يطلقن عليه "Omove" . ذو رائحة كثيفة غامضة و جد معقّدة تختلف كثيراً عن راتنج المر لنضارتها و نفحاتها الترابية الجافة الصريحة . و لإبراز الجانب المضيء من هذا الراتنج و إضفاء المزيد من الإثارة و الحسية أغدقت عليه المصممة باقة سخية من أجمل الزهور كالشومباكا ، الزنبق الذهبي و بلوميريا . و أما الجانب الفاكهي للعطر فقد إستمدته من فاكهة يطلق عليها سابوت من جمهورية الدومينيكان "Pouteria sapota" ، و التي تحتوي على مادة زيتية لذيذة الطعم و بنكهة جد مميزة تجمع بين مرارة اللوز مع تطور يحمل بعضا من سمات الفواكه الإستوائية . و كذلك تجد في العطر جرعة من زيت زيمينيا "Ximenia americana" ، و التي تعرف بإسم African Sour Plum ؛ ذات الخصائص المضادة للميكروبات ، المحفزة للغدد الدهنية و المعززة للوظائف الجلدية ؛ و التي إستخدمتها المصممة كمثبت طبيعي و مرطب للبشرة في آن واحد ، كما أن لها دور فعّال في تحلية العطر بسبب رائحتها الشبيهة بالعسل 🍯 . مكوناته طبيعية ١٠٠% ؛ و يخلو تماما من أي مواد حافظة متبثات أو نوتات صناعية و لا وجود فيه أيضا لأي كائنات معدّلة وراثيا . بالإضافة إلى أن بعضا من هذه المكونات إستخلصت بتقنية "L'enfleurage a froid" و التي أصبحت تستخدم بشكل نادر جدا بسبب تكلفتها الباهظة . عطور هذه الدار أعاملها معاملة الأدهان كونها آمنة و يمكن إستخدامها على البشرة بشكل مباشر ، و أيضا بسبب تركيزها العالي فأكتفي بثلاث أو أربع بخات باطن الكف أمسح بها على شعر الذقن و الرأس و حوالي الرقبة . و أود الإشارة أن عطور نادية من الواجب تحريكها جيدا قبل الإستعمال بسبب ترسّب خامات ذات قوام زيتي كثيق في جوف الزجاجة .
