Ooh La La Lepore

I think this is totally intoxicating! I found it at Marshall’s for a super steep discount and I could not pass it up. I’m a sucker for fresh smells, and this comes out very pear-heavy and settles into a clean, fruity-floral champagne freshness that I totally adore. My all time favorite is Daisy Eau so Fresh, and this just gently reminds me of it, something about the florals/dry down... not sure, I’m not the best girl at detecting notes :) but this is definitely going to be one of my favorites from now on.

Hold the phone. I had to come back to add something. I love perfume, okay? That's my obsession, like some women buy shoes and purses. I have had many scents, from the obscure and expensive, to the cheap and basic. Never have I found one that changes after dry-down as much as this one. A sleeper! So, at first spritz and for sometime after, it smells so fresh and youthful, and the nostalgia for my late teens/early 20s hit me hard. This perfume was the DeLorean, and I time-traveled back to 2002. I took a nap (because I'm approaching middle age) and when I woke up, it smelled totally different. You would NOT have assumed this was the same scent! After drying and sitting, it matures in profile, and the cashmere woods really become the star. Now, if this were put into the hands of a master and made into a luxury scent, it'd be unstoppable. I just had to add this.

Smells like a Bath and Body Works or Victoria's Secret product. It actually smells very lovely. Not fancy. Just simple and sweet. It would make a lovely scent for a young lady, teen, or pre-teen discovering fragrance for the first time. On a just-at-the-cusp-of-middle-age mom, it doesn't work as a signature scent. Maybe a post-workout refresher. Smells kinda like VS Tease Rebel. I feel like I'm 16, back in the year 2002. I got this with my Ipsy bag for Nov 25.

Going in blind (sprayed on paper not skin) I smell an extremely sweet animalic pear. Very sexy in a bimbo way, and a tad bit floral-shampoo. Reading the notes now... the lavender must be what’s giving it all that musk. Sorbet completely explains the sugar smell, lemon leaf tracks too. Not getting any peony, this is far too strong a smell for delicate peony to stand out. It’s kinda sparkly like champagne, for sure. The tonka is subtle. The neroli blends in, and can’t be distinguished against all the other sweetness. I think if I wore this, I’d give myself a headache. It’s a very sweet one, and my skin always amplifies sugars. Tbh it’s a little bit baby-prostitute who just had sex. Lol. I don’t hate it at all, and it’s affordable, just wouldn’t work for me. And I had to take this one out of the gift set bc it’s inappropriate (to sexual/loud n alluring) for young women (was wrapping fragrance to gift my preteen cousins). If you’re looking for a sweet n sexy cheapy that’s ultra femme and has sillage, this’ll do the trick.

I actually don’t mind this. I mostly get lavender, neroli, pear and peony. I get a touch of sorbet- almost like a pear sorbet. It definitely smells like it could be a bath and body works spray but I think it’s a nice shampoo-y floral either way for how affordable it is.

No ma’am you can have it back. It’s not bad. I just have way better rose perfumes
