Nautica Aqua Rush

I don't like many Nautica frags, but this one makes up for the other screeching synthetic failures I've sniffed. This is a simple citrus woods with ocean accents. The citrus is synthetic but this is my favorite teakwood I've encountered because it's softer and not overpowering. If you're sniffing for the mint, you'll find it, but I notice sage and thyme more. Nice ineffable "ocean" quality to it. Moderate sillage, overall brief, doesn't go through much of a change except the citrus fades quickly. A safe neutral choice for spring and summer and a nice layer companion for other citrus heavy scents that need a teakwood boost. The sail shaped bottle is nice, faux brushed chrome top looks great, and there's a yellow accent flourish to the sprayer that didn't go unnoticed. Overall, a great deal and a safe blind buy if you need to pad out your spring and summer selection.

Great perfume and a very fresh one, got to smell the deodorant first then i decided do order the perfume, well i'm not disappointed! One of my favorites! Very watery, a handful of citrus that after 1 hour becomes sweet citrus, anybody who smelled it loved it, people asked me what kind of perfume i'm using - they were very surprised. I'm giving it total of 8/10, because of the longevity that lasts about 4-6 hours I will but it again.

This was a blind buy for me after reading the reviews on here and at £8 for 100ml delivered it was rude not to really! I was not disappointed, it is a nice fresh scent with a lovely dry down (I can't get too technical yet as I'm only just getting into my fragrances after years in the wilderness!). I wish it lasted longer, but for the price I really can't complain and I'd definitely buy it again.

This stuff is actually very good in my opinion. It's just like fierce but a tad less sweet and musky. The silage and longevity are lacking of course but, you can always buy the small bottle for 10 bucks and reapply every few hours and chicks will be telling you you smell real good, just as good as fierce.

There is nothing to think about here. Aqua Rush is fun and refreshing and totally inoffensive. It's the fragrance equivalent of a catchy pop song. Love it.

I love it and also my GF loves it on me, very simple classy, and not pricy I tried it in the winter and I will buy a new one for the summer for sure

Haven't worn this one in a while, but I sprayed this on tonight as a random after shower scent and was surprised how much I like it. Opens with a super realistic citrus zest for about a whole entire second. Then it smells like windex. But hold on, just give it like five minutes. It's got your typical Nautica salty cucumber thing going, but there's some nice violet leaf and at the end of it all a sweet "teakwood" accord that's interesting. It reminds me of a Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Works, but it's not an unpleasant scent at all. I'm certainly not gonna complain at 10 cents per milliliter. I kind of get reminded of Polo Sport (hey, same perfumer), but I'm sure the Fierce comparison is accurate too. Probably a generational thing. If you like either of those scents and see it in a discount shop it's worth a chance. I wouldn't seek it out or anything, but it's more than worth the price of a fast food combo. Thumbs up.

As an owner of Mont Blanc legend I was able to compare these two colognes side by side. They are extremely similar in the opening almost identical but the dry down of the aqua rush lacks a bit of depth and the Mont Blanc seems to be a bit more masculine and more potent. The Aqua rush dries down to a clary sage and woodsy note scent with an aquatic vibe. I mainly bought this for my little brother who is going into high school as it is a cheap and decent quality cologne. It smells great and seems to last a decent amount of time. If you own fierce or legend no need for this cologne. Also this is a safe blind buy and a mass pleaser. Good stuff nautica.

If you want a long lasting non synthetic fragrance, then maybe spend more than $10 to $15. If you want a good smelling fragrance that only costs about $10 to $15, then check this out. Spray heavy and spray your clothes. If you do that you can get a few hours out of this, and it's going to smell good. You're not going to offend anybody if you spray too heavy, because it's just a light sweet aquatic scent. I'm not going to say that you should run out and pick it up right now. But if you want a light sweet aquatic scent to use for really hot days, and you don't want to spend very much at all, you could do worse.

Starts out a little screechy and synthetic, but the dry down gets much better. Good cheapie that's inoffensive, aquatic, citrusy and woody. Longevity is about what it should be for a $15 fragrance, not good with little projection after about an hour. Good safe warm weather fragrance. Is it groundbreaking? no. Will i buy a second bottle? not likely, but even with my huge collection, I don't regret buying this. This is good for the gym, running errands on a warm day or as an out of the shower scent.

So this has been compared to A&F's Fierce, wow. Fierce is a synthetic bomb while this has actually done a good job of making the yuzu note seem authentic. I've written a review for CK's One 2014 Summer scent where I go on about the whole summer/beach/ocean flankers doing the whole "lime/melon/aquatic" worn out notes mix.............this actually smells natural and not a rehash of beach scents.

This is quite simple and synthetic, is not a bad fragrance, is just simple. After the drydown, (something that happens after 1h) it became exactly the same smell of Nivea Men Body Wash Fresh with the Teakwood mixed with some amber and Yuzu. BTW the Yuzu note combined with some saltness in the beginning is really refreshing ! Office Safe, but works better in the Gym, or after shower.

Surprisingly this fragrance is good its inexpensive but good nice clean smell shower fresh it last about 8 hours too when you use everything with it body spray after shave balm & body wash I got the set for $35 it was well worth it if you find it for a good price buy it its not an amazing scent but it smells good it doesn't smell cheap like others say it's a every day casual scent

Excellent aqua styled cologne with a nice citrus opening and woodsy dry down. Very fresh and invigorating. Has nice longevity on me. Can't beat the price either, just got one of those 95% bottles from fragrance net for under $9.00.

very nice underrated scent for the summer. Nautica aqua rush is quite generic for a citrus summer cologne but not bad for 17 bucks at ross lol. actually seen it in my local Sephora then got it at ross couple hours later.

Just opening the cap and smelling it it smells like Polo Sport but when sprayed it has a fresher scent like ocean.. smells really good!! First time I met my gf she said I smelled really good so that’s a plus!!!

I really like Nautica Aqua Rush. The teak wood and sea water notes really shine on my skin, it reminds me of sitting on a dock or lakeside in a wood chair in the summer.

Nothing fancy here. Definitely will not offend. Clean with a warm dry down. 8/10 for its fresh and unique, -lower man on the totem pole- prestige station.

Pretty good job of blending a minty accord with its usual aqua notes. Doesn't try to be anything it isn't and the main aroma is fluid. Mint peaks here and there from the mid. Its half a day appliance. Sweats well.

yes....it seems like a very cheap copy of Fierce..somehow also similar to another unsuccessful copy of this, i.e. F.Oliver Sunrise...it has the same nautica voyage DNA but I find it even worse in terms of the cheap smell...I would go for voyage if I had to choose..not to mention versace pour homme and eau fraiche which are by far much better ones...

#19 in my "Tour de Fragrance" . Another of the "30 under $30." This is okay, but nothing special or interesting here. Cheap as it is, the travel spray I bought cost more than this is worth. It's like one of the Cuba Paris or Yacht Man scents, it's cheap, indifferent, inoffensive, and "Gone in Sixty Seconds."

I picked up a sample of this when I made a purchase at my local department store this week. I decided to give it a try today. It reminds me of a low end men's body wash. I like marine scents but this one doesn't make grade.

Some of the previous reviews are outstanding, especially the fine piece by stinger 839 in recent months. The comparison to A&F Fierce is apt and astute by the community here. Harry Fremont's got the same aromatic, musky and woods blueprint from Fierce but simply adds a marine, oceanic vitality to Aqua Rush that gives it its identity. A pretty solid performing fragrance in regards to subtle projection and longevity, this one extends on my skin beyond the 5 hour mark (though it's moderate to light from the 3 hour mark onwards, but has enough teak wood to give it character)and generally lasts 7-9 hours in the summer months. Given my dislike for Fierce, which aggravates my sinuses with its dust cloud of aromatic musk and synthetic woods accords, this one does the same thing early, but settles into a nice and subtle balance of teak wood, marine accords and yuzu with herbal violet leaf and mint. While I certainly don't love this scent because of its musky, aromatic essence, it's a solid commercial compromise by Nautica to pick up on the big mall fragrance seller of the new millennium and add their typical marine blueprint and packaging to the economic venture. Fremont does a solid job of balancing the notes and constructing a rather appealing summer sea aquatic from the early 2000's with a darker woods, Cool Water vibe from the 1990's. It's not remarkably creative, it's not exceptionally appealing and it won't garner many compliments, but it's a solid summer budget fragrance for the 15-35 crowd that won't break your bank and won't send anyone off in the other direction either. Overall Scent: B-/C+ (the teak wood, mint & clary sage stand out here when balanced by the violet leaf) Value $: A Longevity: B- (for an aquatic of its type, a bit above average) Sillage: B+ (highly underrated, subtle projection) Intangibles (Compliment Factor): C- Overall: B- Solid value fragrance that deserves a look if you are looking to add a musky, woodsy marine element to your rotation.

A citrus-woodsy basic frag, but one which is affordable, perfect for summer and the gym, and refreshing.. I applied 6 heavy sprays 0-1 hour - 1 foot projection - This flits between citrus yuzu and woodsy notes. The citrus is lovely and clean and it jockies with a dull generic woodsy note. 1 hours - 4 hours - 7 inch projection. I get decent projection from this on my skin and on cotton it projects much further and I have had a number of compliments. The citrus yuzu manages to outweigh the woodsy notes, thankfully, and this frag remains linear with no smokines or soapiness which is a refreshing change from many simiar frags. I find this sexy and although quite basic, I keep going back for more! It reminds me about 10% of Chanel Bleu but without that frags depth at the start, but at least this Nautica does not go smoky like Bleu 4 hours - 6 hours - 4 inch projection 6 hours - 9 hours - 2 inch projection This cost £13 for 100 ML bottle and is ideal for summer A succesful blind buy I have tried the Gold Aqua rush Flanker which starts lovely but soon fades to a dull woodsy close to the skin frag Very Good

Aqua Rush is essentially the backbone of A&F Fierce combined with the generically aquatic/marine DNA of Nautica fragrances. While the scent itself is versatile for many occasions the performance (or lack their of) really limits this one for me. The projection is average at best and the longevity is sub par even for aquatic/freshie standards. I don't see myself wearing this one to work as it would be something I would have to re-apply at least 3 times to get through a full work day. I see this one more as something to throw in a gym bag or one to wear when running errands on the weekend in spring/summer. I paid about $7 USD for 50ml and see this for around $12 or $13 for 100ml. That is priced fairly appropriately. Anything more than that and it's really not worth it as there are other cheapies in the same genre that do it better. 6/10

This is what makes gives men's perfume/ cologne/ fragrance a big yawn. Not sure why someone green lighted this one. Nice and average (read: boring, uninspired, lacks imagination, unoffensive, tired, been done before and better, and...so why???). A light, fresh, summer frag that really is just a Polo-like scent on training wheels! With a pleasant citrus top note (yazu) dominating through out with a bit of wood thrown in for good measure not much else gets out to play. The flacon does nothing for me (a sail, right?) Perhaps the ideal scent to give your friends high school/ college graduate son whom you don't really know but want to give him a token gift (which won't offend). Bingo! Sillage and longevity just ok (you get what you pay for).

Picked this up recently at a major local retail discounter for pennies on the dollar, I think $11 usd. Not a bad cheapo at all. A nice burst of citrus and sweet in the beginning then mellows out to a semi sweet fruitiness with a slight hint of woods. Nothing that will blow you away but, for the $$$ not bad at all. Nautica Acqua Rush gives me a similar vibe to Azzaro Chrome United, just a bit more citrus. 5-6 hours average over the last three days in 90+ degree weather. Not a bad pick up for work, casual hang out, fresh out of the swower and shave or just chillin at home. You could do a lot worse than this. If you can get it cheap, it's worth a shot.....

exciter76 is on to something with the comparison of Aqua Rush to Irish Spring's Icy Blast soap. The two fragrance structures share a common bond of sweet, violet-like soapiness. Aqua Rush really smells like a cross between that, and a cheaper, unbalanced version of Cool Water, with all the fruity-musk notes done for millicents on the dollar. On paper, the Cool Water comparison comes alive more than on skin, where it's closer to "pool water." It's cheap, it smells cheap, but Aqua Rush is likable and unpretentious, and certainly a respectable option for casual wear on balmy spring weekends.

I was looking for a budget summer frag for my bf, and stumbled upon this one on ebay..He ordered it and as it arrived he sprayed it on, and out of curiosity I did too on myself. The bottle looks great, but the fragrance..On him it smells a bit like CK One, on me just pure mens bodywash..But it doesn`t last long either, which is a bigger problem, as he`ll have to spray on a good few times to make out anything of it. A 100 ml bottle won`t last that long afterall. All in all it`s okay but nothing special really, and not long lasting enough. Won`t be bought again.

Aqua Rush is another Nautica cheapie that I enjoy. Like Nautica Life is a lighter, aquatified version of Bleu de Chanel this is a lighter, aquatified Fierce. And like Life I got this for $12 shipped! It doesn't smell cheap to me. Is it groundbreaking? No. But for casual wear on a warm day when you just want something fresh and clean smelling this fits the bill. It's not going to choke people out around you in close quarters whereas Fierce may. With about 4 sprays applied I get 6-8 hours longevity out of this.

I only smelled a sample strip of this fragrance at a department store, so admittedly my experience of Nautica's Aqua Rush is limited. That being said, from what I could smell this seems like a very pleasant but slightly generic casual citrus aquatic. What this one has going for it is that its cheap in price. I may pick it up for a good price and use it as a casual warm weather cologne. But then again I probably wouldn't go out of my way to look for it since its nothing exceptional.

I've been looking for a similar fragrance but there is nothing like this one. The sea and woody notes the the best combination to enjoy a great day. This is obviously very similar to Montblanc legend, but its fruity notes don't make me feel what this fragrance do. I'll stop seeking for a replacement for this one because there is not! Definitely my favorite summer/hot weather fragrance out there.

What a huge disappointment. I like Nautica, I like Fierce but this one is all wrong. It smells cheap, the bottle looks cheap. Actually, it was cheap, I only paid € 18 but still that was too much. It's a combination of A&F and Ungaro Homme Cobalt, done in a wrong way! Be aware of this one! Once in a while I buy blind, sometimes a big hit, but this mistake however has me rethink.

Well, I don't own this but I find myself spray this on me every time I walk by the tester at Target store (a retailer here in US and Canada). Yes, I spray this on every freaking time because it smells nice. It has this mellowy quality that I like. Now I wanna try the Gold Aqua Rush. I hope it's even better because it seems more complex with lot of notes!

I bought this earlier today. Ill give it more time. I will say it smells a heck of a lot better by itself than on my skin. It breaks down to a clean deodorant kind of smell quick. Way too much moola for the smell you wind up with. Hopefully the midnight in Paris I'm waiting on will make up for the bad buy today

Nice fresh after shave smell that matches the name and look of the brand, though it does not last even 1 hour on my skin. At this point I just want to finish the bottle and add to my ever growing collection of art deco.

I had this and got rid of it. Cool Water is much better, Aqua Rush breaks down to A simple linear note. Very boring fragrance. Might be suited for A young Teen? Fades quickly. PASS

This is a lighter and sweeter version of Joop! Nightflight. It smells nice but has poor longevity.

To me this reminds me of Curve. Has a cheap vibe to it.
