Lemon Puff

This is really lovely. It opens up with a burst of fresh lemon, citrusy but not rind-y, if you know what I mean. And then as it dries down, it softens up and reveals more of that toasted meringue note along with touches of sandalwood and vanilla and almond. To me, the florals don't really come through that strongly. It's more of a bright gourmand that gets more comforting and yummy with time on the skin.

This isn't what I expected at all, but it is quite lovely for what it is. I am not getting the comparisons to the other lemony fragrances. I also don't exactly get detergent either. Definitely not overly citrusy... This is a clean skin scent with a touch of creamy lemon gourmand. Only a touch though. It's kinda comfy. I still don't think it is something I need but I can see it being for someone.

To my nose this is a mix of Libre and DBIR Yellow Dream. Lacking in the lavender note found in Libre and instead has this kinda airy, clean quality simillar to Yellow Dream. Not gourmand at all and honestly I barely detect the lemon; mostly this is floral & musky on me! Classy, though. Reminds me of a perfume store at an airport (specifically this rather than say, Sephora). Not what I'm looking for but enjoyable nonetheless!

Think of a slightly nutty, lemon poundcake. When I first bought this fragrance, I didn’t really look at the notes very well. I was expecting a juicy lemon, splash, kind of sharpness. But it truly smells like a lemon dessert/pastry. It’s a bit too warm for the current weather in Texas, but I expect to get full use of it in the winter and fall.

This smells like a combination of Noteworthy 144 and The 7 Virtues Coconut Sun, with a bit less vanilla. I have both of those so I don't need this. But, it's really good!

i basically just smell bergamot and jasmine, with a hint of sweetness. was hoping it would be more like lira by xerjoff. overall feel like this is just subpar.

If you are a gourmand lover and love the Kayali Capri in a Bottle Lemon Sugar 14, these smell nothing alike. I don’t smell any citrus, only white floral. If your nose picks that out and you don’t like that smell, I wouldn’t recommend this one

Lemon puff? Where? Gourmand? We don’t know her. Spicy? Yes. Floral? Overpoweringly yes. I’m sure there are notes there but the floral completely overwhelms it. If you expect anything like Akro Bake or Kersene Unknown Pleasures, skip this. Especially for 1.7 ounces for $140 it’s not great and way overpriced?!? It smells ok but it’s not what I expected. If I sniff hard enough I get the lemon but mostly, it’s floral as hell. Not completely unpleasant, just not my jam. This is certainly the most fail blind buy I’ve ever experienced. Go with the afore mentioned Akro Bake or Kerosene Unknown Pleasures if you want an actual lemon gourmand because even the dry down and wear lacks gourmand. This perfume left me questioning if the perfumer or anyone who lives this knows what gourmand is...

Does not smell Forvr Mood: Hard to get, Kayali or Devotion. This is straight up detergent. I don't smell anything sweet, or overly citrus either. I'm not sure where the ingredients got lost in this. This should be decadent from the notes, but it's not.

This smells nearly identical to Zukhruf Pink by Zimaya but with added lemon. Also similar to Dama Bianca by Casamorati too. It’s definitely got an airy freshness and a transparent watery quality. It’s sweet, not tart. I don’t think the florals are overpowering, but they are there. Tbh the lemon is in the background, this is not going to be like an Akro Bake or Kayali Lemon Sugar where that burst of lemon slaps you in the face. The citrus is very understated in Lemon Puff. It’s maybe a little bit creamy but in a skim milk/almond milk kind of way, I wouldn’t call it a thick meringue type of creamy by any means. It’s a very pleasant scent profile just not what I was expecting given the name and listed notes. I even had my boyfriend smell both Lemon Puff and Zimaya Zukhruf with no pretense just asked him what he thought of both and his response was "they smell the same". so if you’ve smelled Zukhruf or Dama Bianca before than you’ll recognize this scent profile.

I was gifted this by the brand. This starts off very citrusy, with a generic jasmine note that you find in every new designer release, and a hint of the bitterness from the almond. After 10 minutes, the sweet notes come through. The mid notes are the most pleasant part of the scent. There’s a delicious buttery pastry, and some creaminess but it’s not at the forefront. It’s definitely pleasant, but the citrus and jasmine combo makes it smell generic. I would’ve removed the jasmine and used a different lemon/bergamot. Sandalwood is nonexistent, so the base falls flat and unimaginative. It doesn’t smell high quality, as a whole. It’s the scent of a body cream you find in your drugstore called “lemon pie”.

Really nice and a bit different to the regular gourmand fare. The toasted meringue note takes centre stage and smells fantastic, very realistic and three-dimensional. A floral haze surrounds the toasted, buttery vibe and a tinge of lemon lifts the scent through it's duration. The overall impression is very airy and ethereal feeling. The deep drydown is more floral-ambroxan than anything but retains hints of pastry and lemons. Expertly blended scent that is super cosy, yummy and uplifting to wear. Thumbs up!

I don't get gourmand from this at all, but it is lovely for what it is, which is a sweet, lemony floral. I never knew I needed a perfume in this category, but now I know for sure that I do.

The bottle is beautiful in my opinion and the fragrance is fresh and lovely. I would wear it on a hot summer day.
