Mysterious Girl

I bought this in January and thought it wasn't bad for the price, and then I put it away for months. Since then, maybe it matured a bit or my own taste changed slightly, but when I tried it again I realized that this is the perfect sweet jasmine for me and I completely fell in love. It's a very close dupe of Gucci Bloom, but not identical; I get more tuberose from Bloom, and more jasmine from this. To be honest, I prefer that. I find the opening a bit harsh, but once the alcohol goes away, it settles very nicely. Not a huge sillage but a cozy floral aura for about 4-6 hours, and then it becomes a still very delightful, slightly powdery skin scent. Lasts pretty long on clothes, too. I paid £10 for this bottle and honestly I feel like I should be arrested for robbery!

Mysterious Girl is an amazing dupe for Gucci Bloom and I am so happy about that. It is a clean, soapy tuberose and jasmine with a bit of powder in the dry down. I got this for $9 on Amazon and plan on repurchasing whenever this bottle gets used up (which I'm sure will be sooner rather than later because I absolutely love this). :) Update: I sprayed Gucci Bloom on one wrist and Mysterious Girl on the other. They are exactly alike, I can't believe it, but it's true!

I just got this today off Amazon for 10.00. It smells really beautiful. Very floral, but a bit soapy at the same time. I’m not an expert, this is just how it smells to my amateur nose. Has hints of JLo Glow vibes, or Amazing grace... not a dupe for either, more like the thought... Oh yeah... I know that smell... and I thought of those. I will definitely enjoy this little find.

So I can't honestly compare this much to Gucci Bloom, although it's an obvious knockoff attempt. I never cared much for Bloom and thought it was boring and overpriced, but for some reason this one caught my nose during a walk through a fragrance store. Have you ever walked through a blooming orange grove? It doesn't smell like oranges, it's this sweet jasmine almost lilac scent... and yes, honeysuckle. This is that exactly for me, and frankly it's lovely. You'll find the iris on drydown, but it was a very smooth transition, with a lingering sweetness that isn't overpowering. I've purchased 'dupes' in the past and never been wholly satisfied with the value but this one is definitely worth the $20 price tag for the 3.4oz. The structure and detail of the bottle alone was worth that- it is beautiful and heavy, not cheap. It was one of few 'dupes' this store bothered to sell and I can see why- few are worth it, this one is. This is worthwhile, smooth, and is in no way screechy or cheap smelling. This is a crowd pleasing easy reach for anyone. No alcohol, and the powder note at the end is so gentle you almost don't notice it. It smells like sweet spring, without a hint of citrus, greens, or anhelydes. Sweet and smooth. Longevity has been amazing but not in a cloying or annoying way. Not a big projection but it's sweet enough that it's appropriate for this formulation. They should sell this at a much higher price point.

This is the best dupe of Gucci Bloom, very similar. First spray there is a lot of alcohol but give it a few minutes to settle down and it is beautiful. Last around 4/5 hours on my skin and it is not overpowering, for the price it is a good buy.

This is such a little beauty. I smell more jasmine than tuberose and some freshly crushed luscious leaves. It's airy and carefree. I would even bet that I can smell the spring breeze in the morning sun. Anyway, it costs a dime, but it does not smell cheap, but rather youthful. Lasting power 3-4 hours and it sits closer to the skin, but you definitely know about it. Quite a surprise. Edit: Today my friend asked me, if I was wearing Gucci Bloom. When I told her, she immediately ordered a bottle for herself 😀 Edit 2: I went to test the real thing. Are you kidding me? I have bought 2 back up bottles!
