One of the best bargain knockoff fragrances I ever blind brought... being a fougere lover I decided to give this a go due to its low price (10$) and high praise ....well it smells better then I expected and the best part is the sillage and longevity this thing sprays on light at first but give it 5 minutes to develop and it's outstanding it also has a decent breakdown of notes unlike other fragrances in this price range which tend to be linear and fade out in 2 hours...Venezia sticks to the skin for a good 12 hours and has a good 6 feet of projection it can easily be over sprayed by how light it starts.... I will try to describe it best I can i have never smelled Bel Ami Vetiver or Esencia Loewe so i can't compare to my nose it smells like Polo Green minus the leather and tobacco mixed with Basile Uomo minus the dark herbaceousness.. unlike the latter the added lemon and juniper lighten up the top notes the dark forest pine tarragon lavender start opening up in the middle while the tonka adds a dirt like aromatic quality to the base little hints of basil bergamot and herbs pop through out the breakdown of notes...there you have it a light classy fresh bright green fougere as other reviewers have stated it's ''zesty'' like walking into a damp Pine forest full of herbs and lemon trees on a warm spring day...it's pretty much discontinued in the united states Im already ordering a second bottle...get it while you can this fragrance hit's well above it's price point ... it's fresh, rich and bright...this is no old man smell or typical synthetic bargain bin knockoff ...it's a very high quality remix of classic green fougere's from the past...the bottle pretty much sums up what your gonna get bright zesty forest green ...9 out of 10

Smells almost like my 20 year old sample bottle of Loewe Esencia Pour Homme. It is extremely close. Same complexity and depth. I was waiting and biding my time to buy the vintage Loewe and could not spend $150-200. The current version is definitely not what I want. I read a review of this and it was correct. Venezia is a ringer for vintage Esencia. It is very green and a little leathery, but always pleasant and easy to enjoy. It is a bit old school, but not going to choke anyone out or make anyone hate you. It has the best of the 80's and 90's masculine perfumery carried on here. Huge value here. It lasts on my skin and smells great for 16 hours. I always smell it when I wake up the next day. I highly recommend this wonderful scent.

There must have been very few bottles of this in the USA. They quietly went out of stock. I don't think there are enough of us in this little network to have bought more than a few hundred bottles at most. We should be on the lookout for its return to the American market, and spread the word if/when it returns. I would guess New Brands' business model will precipitate them making more and selling it at decent prices. Their M/O is to sell as much as possible at a good price. And I am quite certain this has been their biggest seller ever..

Good grief love at first sniff but oh my that drydown is perfect for me.Its a old man school frag but so smooth. If this lasts im ordering more and will be going to my number 1 frag.If you like old school frags just grab this its a no brainer and i only plaid £7.00 Edit : in my top frags now its so good.Got a backup bottle,im unsure how they managed to pull this off at such a low price.Smells amazing and lasts so long,my best ever purchase by a mile.

This fragrance is a true gem and a bargain at just $11-$13 for a 100ml bottle. Some may assume that Venezia is a cheap-smelling fragrance because of its low price, but in reality, it is a smooth, rich, and well-blended scent that could easily be sold for much more. If you are searching for a green/woody aroma that is both original and uplifting, as described by ONE_CLASSIC_MAN, then you should definitely consider this beautiful fragrance.

Venezia to my opinion is a very nice fragrance!!!! Pleasant and 100% for men. I don't know if the mix of the notes create this but I can smell fresh marjoram and luxurious soap. Unique and really nice! You can find it for £10 but it worth much more! Polo Green? Not exactly. Venezia is fresher and more uplifting!

Venezia seems to have all but disappeared here in the US. I wonder if the run-on bottles were from Fragrantica members scooping them up. I'm glad I bought a backup bottle when I did.

Bought for £8 Inc delivery, for 100ml. Box looks nice as does the bottle, both green which is very apt. Initial smell, without pressing atomiser, Bogart Signature, so I thought dark green plus leather and woods. If a patch on this then onto a winner right from the off. 2 to the wrist, one behind each lug and one for good luck on chest and Cif Lemon mixed with pine is the thoughts, supermarket bathroom cleaner. Soon settles after a few mins and it gets better, greens, pine and light herbs come to the party and blend nicely with the lemon and bergamot. This to me is a fresh green and lemon slightly soapy scent at this point and I like it. I feel I could enjoy this during the day and at any time of the year, this is not a dark heavy green but a fresh, light green with lemon and this is throughout the course. As the hours pass It gets a little more soapy/barbershop esc and the lemon and light greens are still at the front, I am looking forward to giving this a ride in the Summer sun, I feel the lemon, bergamot and pines could be even more prominent. I keep getting a light green herb which I enjoy which keeps this juice getting too sweet for me. I get 5-7hrs longevity and close sillage for a hour or so. Nice entry level green with added lemons, perfect for college, I won't be repurchasing as I love powerhouses. I get the feeling the house is going for a mass appealing modern take on a barbershop frag. The price is good for this juice and I will rotate for work.

The first hour is an almost cheap smelling fougere - the material smells thin. But then, allez-hop, it transforms to an expensive masculine/feminine perfume of yesteryear after an hour or two. A purring fur. A bit of Dior or Chanel. Chanel pour Monsieur, perhaps. Then in the far dry down it's the same molecules that I find in latest formulations of old Italian classics - a sweet barbershop shaving foam scent. The first half isn't bad but a zillion current barbershops do a variation, and this one has a gel room freshener tone mixed in. It is fresh. This fragrance has layering potential with other cheapies. Keep in mind, 3-6 bottles of cheapies are the same price, nowadays, of a Guerlain classic such as Vetiver and Habit Rouge EDT. I routinely see Habit Rouge EDT at 150 ml for 60-70 bucks. Heritage is often inexpensive. OK those aren't fougeres. But is this 10 buck cheapie better than Paco Rabanne, Roger Gallet, Zino (USD 15) and a dozen Italian classics? The bottle is very handsome. Overall a good value but nothing to write to grandpa about.

I too bought this after seeing all the love for it on the forum. It's marvellous - it is everything that I wanted Cerutti 1881, Loewe Essenza and Polo Green to be; bright, zesty, rich and herbaceous. I was struggling to place what the musty smell was in the dry down but the "smells like" above solved it - it's Bel Ami Vetiver. For £8 this feels like theft!! EDIT: I've worm this a few times now, it absolutely rules. I had been concerned that it's too much of an old man smell, but it actually comes across quite casual, just a rugged green 'classic' scent, and a very easy reach. It definitely has two halves, as described above - the zesty green phase followed by the Bel Ami Vetiver phase. I have downgraded the longevity score to moderate (4hrs) although I'm more than happy to reapply and go back to phase 1! This has got me curious to try more of New Brand's offerings...

Lovely green fougere to begin with, has a definite 80’s feel, that dries down to quite a sweet fragrance. Reminds me of mixing all the starburst flavours together. Lasts a good 6 hours and has moderate sillage but for the price this is well worth adding to your collection. £8.99 with free postage, for 100ml bottle on eBay at the moment. I’m definitely buying a backup bottle, or 2....

What I get from this is a soapy green scent with a touch of lemon and sweetness. It doesn't remind me of a masculine vintage fragrance because there aren't any heavy notes in the base like tobacco, sandalwood, leather, oakmoss, etc. I don't get all the nuances mentioned in the reviews (I don't notice any major transitions); this one is simple and the first sentence I wrote pretty much sums up my experience. I find the performance to be quite light, which is fine for someone that wants to wear this to work or as a fresh-out-the-shower type fragrance. I agree with comments below suggesting this would be good for layering. Nothing impressive, but it is an easy to like, inoffensive fresh green scent for $10.

Insane value. Fresh-cut mediterranean herbs, lavender and pine needles. Once you get past that lemon cleaner blast in the opening this stuff is fantastic. Unlike the 80's classics, this is very lean on the musks and animalic notes in the base, although it does have a slight herbal dirtiness. It's no powerhouse, and the longevity is quite fleeting. It feels a bit top-heavy and lacks character in the base. For this reason, however, it works wonderfully for layering.

I'd get in line with those stating that this reminds them of the old formulation of Loewe Esencia Pour Homme, especially its magical dry-down. Agree or not, this is a fantastic fragrance, that reminds me of some of the 70s and 80s long-gone fragrances. Looking for something for your father or uncle who can't stand today's unisex horridities? Well, look no further. Guaranteed that this will satisfy any craving for a real manly fougere cologne. 10/10 for that.

Take a look at the bottle, and you know what it smells like. Cooling, refreshing aromatic green. It's wonderful how in the summer heat it evokes walking in a pine forest. I find it pretty much unisex as well.
