Dark Cherry

A gorgeous gorgeous sweet cherry scent that doesn’t lean medicine-y at all. As another commenter mentioned, it’s meant to be a Lost Cherry dupe, which I totally get, but this one comes across much brighter (maybe because it’s more diluted somehow?) and maybe even a bit more confectionery-like. It doesn’t last very long, and the sillage is honestly pretty meh, but I already got some compliments from my coworkers while wearing it :)

On skin I'm getting way more notes than are listed. Like way more, and some of the listed ones I'm not getting at all. I don't know if it's just me, so I won't assert being absolutely correct but this one is definitely giving distinct cherry that veers a bit into a slightly (strangely) smoky, capsaicin-peppery-spicy but ~psych~ still candied territory. Reminds me of a bottle of cherry liqueur I got on a trip to the balkans, but only vaguely and maybe some flavoured cigarillo with it it. It's sweet and dark but not cloying, and keep in mind it doesn't project very far. Tonka crawls out a bit more after sitting on skin; not getting any sandalwood. A considerate but still adequately racy choice for a crowded dancefloor if you're into poorly ventilated standard rathole nightclubs. Suitable for budget baby goth wardrobe also with how it serves both dark and sweet like it does. It's baffling how many personalities I can think of this matching perfectly, and it still isn't a 'boring' scent necessarily. Perhaps the most evenly unisex perfume I have ever smelled. Perfect 50/50 fence-sitter and can be worn by both handsome and cute people at the same time and still be 100% believeable. It's an okay-ish dupe of the TF cherries, I guess. Very affordable and hey, when you buy affordable, most of the time affordable is what you get. So don't expect a miracle; rather, something simply nice. EDIT 21/07/25: Ah, regrettably, I must return to state my observation that the fragrance indeed is very weak in terms of lasting. I've given it a fair few chances, alas, the results never changed. I'm also trying to account for, perhaps, the bottle has been exposed to heat...? Though, it shouldn't kill the perfume like that, keeping it under usual indoor summer conditions that is. It's not as if I boiled it on a stovetop. An option with more lasting power and a better built profile off the same idea (general TF cherry frag dupe) would be Sentio's Scarlett Fruits. It's identical to this one, but slightly better quality. Good luck.

CONCLUSION For like 5 euro's I cannot really criticise it. It is a 100 % dupe of Lost Cherry By Tom Ford, but doesn't deliver as one would expect even though some area's I even like it more. HOW DID I ENCOUNTER Just came across it at Kruitvat, a Dutch pharmacy/everything store in The Netherlands. I saw Cherry extract de parfum and just took it home. WHAT DO I SMELL The opening is 100% Tom Ford Lost Cherry, but with a little alcohol smell for the lift. That goes away fast and will still smell like it, be it a little less dense and more sweet. It dries down to a cotton candy version of Lost Cherry. WEARING Pretty versatile. It is light enough for summer, but more so for winter and evening. DESIGN & QUALITY Good bottle, strong put plastic cap. POWER I am not sure. I think it is not strong or radiant. My nose doesn't go blind on this but the it also doesn't linger. A cheap dupe, that really smells similar to what I paid big money for.
