Last Dance

Last Dance has achieved something I thought impossible. I’ve never been particularly drawn to fragrances inspired by the world of spirits. Themes centred on whisky, cognac or vodka aren’t usually to my taste. So I approached this discovery with a certain degree of scepticism. Yet, from the very first few minutes, Last Dance gradually dispelled all my preconceptions. What struck me was its balance between light and shadow. It possesses a dark, mysterious depth, yet at the same time retains an energy and vitality that prevent it from becoming heavy or melancholic. I felt as though I were experiencing a living fragrance, in constant motion. A mature, elegant and emotional composition that never seeks to impress through sheer force, but rather through its personality. The greatest compliment I can pay it is undoubtedly this: it has reconciled me with a fragrance family that I thought I would never appreciate. Last Dance is concrete proof that, in perfumery, we must learn to question our certainties. A profound, moving and unexpected creation.

I discovered the brand at the Paris Perfume Week and what a discovery !! Last Dance is a beautifully smooth and addictive scent that leans into a warm, slightly sweet and musky profile. It feels intimate and elegant, like a soft glow on the skin rather than a loud statement. There’s something very well-balanced about it, nothing overpowering, yet everything blends seamlessly. It gives off a refined, almost sensual vibe that makes it easy to wear both day and night. Performance is moderate, sitting close to the skin with a subtle but noticeable trail. It’s the kind of fragrance that draws people in rather than announcing itself. Overall, a very chic and modern composition

Tried the whole collection at an event and ended up going back twice to smell it again. I liked 4 out of 5 and it was hard to choose which one to get. Finally, I chose Last Dance because it's something very different from what i have already. It opens quite bright and tingling for a tobacco fragrance. There’s something almost juicy at the start, then it turns slighlty warmer and smoother. The tobacco is there but not heavy or old school. It’s slightly sweet, a bit smoky, very easy to wear. What I like is that it feels sexy without being too much. Some tobacco scents can be overwhelming. This one feels more controlled, more modern.

Last Dance plays in the boozy tobacco space, but with a surprisingly luminous opening. You get that sweetened tobacco accord, but it’s lifted by something brighter and slightly juicy, which keeps it from going too dense. There’s a soft smokiness in the dry down, paired with a subtle patchouli that adds elegance without turning earthy. The balance is well handled. It never collapses into a heavy, syrupy composition like many in this category. If anything, I would say it leans more approachable than experimental. It does what it sets out to do, and it does it well. Very wearable, very coherent. And very sexy too.

For me, this is the scent of a bartender who remembered about his date halfway through his shift, had to leave in a hurry and accidently knocked over a bottle of nice bourbon all over himself, turning his nice cologne into a mix of booze and sweat but in the sexiest way possible.

I smelled this on a friend during a trip to Barcelona and loved it immediately. Ordered it online straight away. If I hadn’t read the notes, I honestly wouldn’t know what’s inside, but it's sexy and dark-ish, more for men than women I would say
