Libra Elixir

This stuff is spot on. I owned Kilian Black Phantom and paid way too much for it. I owned this one first.. I was getting the same performance from both so I decided to just sell my Kilian and keep this. Its hard to find a clone of Black Phantom because its such a unique fragrance.. but Oakcha pulled it off.

For me, it's all sandalwood. I didn't smell the almond, the rum is very VERY subtle and like only the bad part of rum smell. It's a fragrance that I expect an old men to wear, a grandfather maybe, and I say this not in a bad way. Is just a perfume that only a grandpa will rock. I will definitely not wear this, I blind buy it so it's totally a miss. I was expecting something else entirely, probably will gift it.

THis is a strange one. The first 15 minutes is this delicious chocolatey, coffee-like scent...but then it dries down to a smelly, sweaty-man scent...or like a wet dog almost....not appealing!

i've never smelled black phantom by kilian, but i was expecting a sweet, chocolatey coffee scent based on the notes, and this is nearly the opposite of that. it is barely sweet, moreso woody and slightly powdery, even. there is something very pungent and off-putting in the opening that smells bitter and unpleasant, to the point where every time i spray this, i instantly think "i hate this." i can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it is definitely not rum, to my nose at least. after about 5 minutes, it begins to dissipate and opens up into a creamy, woody, slightly sweet almond-y scent. i get very little of the dark chocolate, caramel, or coffee in the dry down. in comparison to the scent profile of the original, it seems like this is more of an approximation than it is a 1 to 1 clone. for the price, this is acceptable, but it's definitely not anything to write home about. i'd really like to try the original fragrance now.

Kilian Black Phantom WHERE? I find Black Phantom to be a sexy fragrance that a sexy woman can wear well. This Oakcha dupe is very much masculine to me.

Perfumes tend to go sweet on my skin and the main note I get on the wear is caramel, sugar, and some rum. The notes I can’t discern at all are coffee and sandalwood, they’re either pretty weak or very blended. Also no chocolate, but there are a lot of perfumes with chocolate notes where everyone else says it’s noticeable, and I disagree. But I’m probably picky, like I am with actual chocolate (milk chocolate isn’t strong enough and isn’t real chocolate!). I’ve never smelt the original that this is a dupe of. But I will say this is kind of an odd one. Odd, but addictive. Will be gifting it to my libra bestie! :) Also worth noting the longevity is not the best. I’ve also tried Pure Veil (their 2017 Miss Dior dupe), and that one is a BEAST by comparison!! I washed my wrist because it was a bit strong and girly for me and it’s still stronger than where I sprayed Libra Elixer and Colaroma (which I can barely detect now, and didn’t wash off). But the silage was decent before it faded.

not sure how I feel about this one. I get Chocolate and something reminiscent of oud? reminds me of an Arabic perfume I've smelled but can't put my finger on it.. I dont think ive smelled Black Phantom..but this is an interesting scent. I was hoping to smell more of the coffee, Chocolate and rum notes.. but it's a very synthetic wood and sweet on dry down. Right now, it's leaning more masculine (which i don't mind) but can definitely be layered to be something interesting. I feel this needs to macerate a bit. Maybe it's the almond note ? Not sure but i can see why a previous reviewer said it smells like BO. Definitely not a safe blind buy , maybe it's my chemistry.. I had high hopes for this one

it kind of smells similar and also performs about the same (10 hrs on my skin) black phantom is much sweeter and more chocolate forward off the top to my nose. oakcha’s is bitter and more coffee forward, woody and smoky, less boozy and very harsh at the opening. however, the drydowns are quite similar: black coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate-esque with a slight woody undertone. edit: i resmelled it recently after around 8 months of letting it macerate. it has become very nutty, almost like an unsweetened peanut butter. i’m looking forward to using it this fall and winter.

The first 10 minutes are pure chocolatey/coffee bliss. Then it dries down to a smelly old man smell. Old men have a distinct musty smell.... that is what this smells like!
