I recently purchased the Oakcha "Discovery Sample Set" for $15, and it was well worth the expense, saving me a lot of money in the long run. As someone with dry skin and a unique acidic pH, I found only two of the seven samples worked well with my body's chemistry. Let's discuss SINFUL, a fragrance inspired by the allure of Tom Ford's Lost Cherry. If you're expecting an exact clone, you will not find it in Sinful. The intensity that Lost Cherry is known for, along with its moderate projection and longevity, is not present in this clone. The deep, boozy notes and robust tobacco are significantly softened, creating a different experience altogether. Instead, you will experience a soft rose scent with a hint of sweet tobacco leaf while the cherry note remains present throughout the opening and into the dry-down. I couldn't detect the jasmine notes. During the dry-down, I noticed a light, powdery, woody essence alongside a smooth dark cherry, which created an enjoyable experience and pleasant scent. It is definitely a crowd-pleaser. Oakcha's interpretation has made the fragrance less powerful and leans moderately toward a feminine preference. On my skin, the longevity lasted only about an hour. It isn't worth $50 for 50ml. My only option is to spray it on my clothes.

All I have to say right now is what a brat 😻 Intoxicating, playful, paradoxical. Imagine the Dark manic pixie dream girl became a boss business owner. Cherry liqueur, a touch cherry cough syrup, slightly tart, very sweet with a woody bite. Literally makes you want to chew, tickle and giggle. In the dry down what lingers is a sweet almondine cookie with a hint of cherry still there and a base of santal. Like the manic pixie dream girl she starts off wild and intoxicating but settles down a bit into a comforting and inviting hostess. One of the things I love the most and is a sign of a well blended perfume is that the notes meld together. So although i can pinpoint certain notes, the jasmine and rose are so immersed and unified with the sandalwood, cedar and vetiver. That it creates its own unique ambience. This perfume definitely tells a story. It is very sweet from start to finish and I could see how some people would not love this perfume but I think most would at least appreciate it for what it is. The combination feels like a modern classic in my opinion

I like Lost Cherry but absolutely refuse to pay for it. This is a decent dupe for it - not exactly the same but that’s reflected in the price. Sweet cherry, vanilla, slightly boozy, almond, some florals. Very pleasing, probably quite basic, but delicious all the same. Longevity isn’t the longest, but then neither is Tom Ford’s so...

I’ll be honest I didn’t like most Oakcha perfumes I ordered. This one was different. It smells absolutely delicious and sexy. My husband loves this one. The longevity is very good, especially on clothes. I can smell it days later on clothes. Its silage is good. I get lots of compliments when I wear this one.

Sinful is the first Oakcha scent I sampled that for me, was a must-buy. I prefer it over Lost Cherry by far, because it's not a "medicinal" cherry. I wonder if that is from the help of the almond note. Anyway, great product and great performance. I recommend!

I’ve never smelled the OG but Sinful is grown and sexy. The cherry notes are sweet and not medicinal. The almond is also a star. It’s such a beautiful fragrance. I usually don’t like Oakcha but this one is perfection. The projection and longevity are great.

I love cherry scents and this is exactly what I needed I’ve tried other lost cherry dupes and they always lean medicinal to me this is just sweet jammy cherries and I love it

This is warm sexy sweet and sophisticated. The cherry isn’t cloying and as a gourmand lover I really don’t mind the florals in this.

This review was initially made January 2024 when this was newer to market(but wasn’t listed in fragrantica yet), so I cannot speak on behalf of the formula now in 2026. So I’m more of a fresh and aquatic girl, but I received a sample of this. Def didn’t think I would like it and do but would rather still have the of, which will never spend that ludicrous amount on...BUT, with how complex it is, I understand why this formula, and likely the TR original LC is a work of art. I’m not sure why ppl are saying it smells like cough medicine. I notoriously hate Cherry cough medicine and can’t even smell it without gagging, and I hate the synthetic Cherry Candy or Cherry car air freshener smells. This is the scent of extremely ripe black and red cherry flesh, coupled with ripe black plum..and only the slightest balsamic or astringent quality of the liqueur. Cherry and almond are soulmates when it comes to scent profiles, and the 2 are perfectly balanced here. You cannot smell the overly nutty almond fragrance as you would in an almond extract used in French desserts, but you would surely notice something integral is missing if it was removed. Idk if this is a hidden note, but whether it is or if the ingredients were combined and accidentally or purposely created it, I also get an immediate top note of leather, directly beneath the cherry, almond and tonka...Perhaps labdanum? As it dries down, the jasmine and Turkish rose comes to play in the heart notes. The cherry turns more bitter and less sweet, while at the same time, the vanilla lightly sweetens and start giving way to amber. Finally with dry down, when the base notes hit and the earthy notes and micro-oils remain, the benzoin blooms and is reminiscent of fresh dipped incense(nag champa specifically). After leaving the base to rest and blend with my specific chemistry (which my body tends to sweeten perfumes so I usually hate gourmands) I’m left with ambery vanilla at first whiff, followed by a light cherry liqueur scent that is slightly earthy and softened with a powdery note, both likely from the incensy benzoin. The layers are super complex and changed drastically over time, while the main profile remained. I do also love the the LDR,Cherry cola/red girl aesthetic, which is not what made me get a sample, but I only realize now how well its fits the aesthetic after trying it on. If you don’t normally like overly sweet and immature gourmands, this one is a luxury and slightly more mature gourmand, while maintaining its youth and innocence in the cherry and vanilla type notes. Do you like Japanese Cherry Blossom from B&B? THIS would be the expensive adult version. I will say, this imo will prob not work in the summer as it will probably become sticky/dirty smelling. The winter cold keeps the fruit scents intact enough to smell more fresh, and keeps the already warm amber, tonka/vanilla, jasmine and benzoin from becoming too warm/too sweet. A night time winter scent this should be! *Edit:I took a nap for a few hours while wearing this fragrance on my wrist pulse points, when I woke up, the perfume didn't smell fresh or clean anymore, as i said above regarding heat, it starts to smell dirty and sticky, but the sillage fades significantly and turns powdery with the slightly leftover woodiness of the benzoin. This is why it’s so hard for me to take Oakcha seriously.but I think it will be a SAMPLE fragrance that I spray on my clothing, and layer with my cherry amber body butter by Hairtage. ***edit 2: Wear sinful on very clean skin, but I would recommend over clothes, namely leather, even more😈 it smells like sexy dominatrix to me.. It will do in a pinch when you can afford LC but you’ll want to layer it with a body butter or base EDP with a more expensive wooded scent like something with sandalwood, to maintain integrity and keep it from dying down to a cheap incense smell.

such a great perfume, and is one of my personal favs! lasts me all day at work, and sticks onto my skin into the evenings after wearing all day. at first it smells like a very sweet cherry liquor but sadly doesn’t last long, and settles into a woody almost vanilla scent. reminds me of the holidays, and for sure is a fall winter perfume. personally i do not mind that the cherry wears off, but if you are looking for a very cherry forward scent this might not be the one.

I have not smelled the original TF but from what I heard, its pretty similar. This smells like cherry cough syrup, boozy, and similar to the cherry bath and body works body spray. To be honest, the price is kind of hefty for the amount you get. Yes you can tell its more oil than alcohol so you get more of long lasting fragrance, but I rather spend that on an original designer fragrance. I also own Sweven and that does smell like BR540, and lasts pretty long.

A lighter, less complex, and slightly sweeter version of Lost Cherry. Nice and not too overpowering, and the cherry isn’t too sour. Has the tiniest hint of rose, but I wouldn’t have picked it up had I not known to look for it. Has moderate sillage and lasts about 4 hours. In terms of other perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Fine'ry Not Another Cherry: even more similar than Lost Cherry ❌ Zara Cherry Smoothie: much more candy-like

It is actually one of the better dupes for Tom Ford Lost Cherry. It is just that there are SO MANY, so even though I used to love Lost Cherry, I think I am slowly over the whole cherry scent. I will revisit later

I have never smelled the original TF Lost Cherry, so this is purely a review of the Oakcha fragrance. I got this in the discovery set from Oakcha. For me, this opens with a syrupy cherry, the completely disappears after that, within about 10 minutes. I don’t get any dry down, heart notes at all. I would not buy a full bottle based on this sample.

The only decent Oakcha perfume. Got a discovery set thing. Smells exactly like Burning Cherry from Kayali, or a Bakewell tart (if youre British ikyk). Not worth the 22 dollar shipping fee to Australia. Why must life be so dreary?

Definitely smells like Lost Cherry but I actually prefer this.

Sinful is really lovely, just not for me. If you love cherry, you'll adore this. It begins with a sugared maraschino cherry, and melts into a resinous, powdery almond cherry. Floral, with enough light musk to round it out. My auntie is wearing this and it's quite lovely on her. And even though I still dislike cherry, I can objectively appreciate the beauty of this perfume. I think it's much better than many of the designer cherry fragrances on the market these days 🍒 🌸

I have a sample of Tom Ford's Lost Cherry and prefer that over this. The only benefit to Oakcha's Sinful is that it lasts as long if not longer than Lost Cherry. Smells like cherry coke and I don't like that. Lost Cherry is more delicate and feminine which I prefer.

Two seconds and the smell is gone. Synthetic smelling cherry

This is NOT my favorite dupe of Lost Cherry. It is very beautifully packaged and very giftable but in my opinion it is blah. I was very taken by Target brand Finery Not Another Cherry. It is twice cheaper, sweeter and cheerier. Also, the longevity of Oakcha is non-existent. $50 wasted.
