This review is especially helpful for those with an acidic pH and dry skin, as such skin types often dilute strong fragrances while muting delicate notes. As a woman, I find that unisex perfumes work better for me without smelling overly masculine. I've tested the entire Maison Margiela Replica line and found only Jazz Club and On a Date suitable for my pH. However, I wasn't willing to spend $165 on a short-lasting eau de toilette. That’s when I discovered Oatcha's Speakeasy Eau de Parfum for $30. Speakeasy is reminiscent of Jazz Club but not an exact clone. It lacks the original's strong booziness, instead offering a softer blend of tobacco, vetiver oil, and sage, making it cozier and slightly sweeter. This unisex fragrance should appeal to more women, showcasing its sensual allure. If you're looking for a fragrance similar to Jazz Club or prefer less sweetness than Lattafa Khamrah offers, Oatcha's Speakeasy is a great alternative.

I feel like this is Jazz Clubs creamier and more cozy little sibling. It's scrumptious, woody, vanilla, and toasted marshmallow and lavender. Initially bought this for my fiancé but it's been calling me like the green goblin mask. I can't stop smelling it. It's like a luxurious, cozy, toasty smell. Feels like if someone at a fancy bar ordered a vanilla smoked whiskey but with dessert

I honestly like Oakcha’s versions of Jazz Club and By The Fireplace slightly more than the originals. They lack the bonfire/burnt marshmallow smokiness and yet are still complex but safe daily drivers. I receive compliments every time I wear this from strangers.

First of all I was able to grab this and other Oakcha scents on a huge sale that they were having. I would look up what the inspiration was and then if they were under $20 I would blind buy them. I bought 5 Oakcha scents blindly at this price and this is the first one to come in. I'm wearing it to work right now and from the Fragrantica notes I can tell you that it will give you a soft spicy scent with the smell of vanilla, booze(rum), woods and a light soft sweet tobacco. I like it so much I ordered a second bottle just in case anyone at work likes it I can sell it to them. (Oakcha gave me a discount coupon for my next order). The bottle is a 1.7oz bottle which is small but it's perfect to take with you or pack in a duffle bag. I have another clone that this is so similar to and it's called Apex by Fragrance World. Update: I wore it for my entire 8hr workday. I work in an office and I can tell you that it projects at arms length for about 2-3hrs then it weakens. It does remain a skin scent and you'll still be able to smell it on yourself if you try for about 6hrs then you'll need to reapply the scent.

I love giving my 2 cents on perfumes that are almost undiscussed. I do not vibe with Maison Margiela REPLICA's perfumes as they simply don't perform well. And some of them actually stinks. However, I love Jazz Club with my whole heart, so much so that I have always been thinking to invest in a full sized bottle. Until I stumbled upon Speakeasy from Oakcha 😋 This is not a 1:1 dupe to JC but i see a good 85% similarity. It lacks the smokiness JC has, making it less intense and hence, more wearable! (edit: I saw ScentlessApprenticeship mentioning the same, and yepp AGREED!) For the price I am paying, I get a 85% similarity dupe that has decent longevity and projection, I don't see myself getting the original. If you have super high expectations or just wants to look for something that is as "smoky" as JC, you may be disappointed. This is an underrated fragrance from Oakcha that people don't talk about enough... I barely found reviews on this!

I bought this and did not love it. It gave me this weird tight feeling so I presume I am allergic to it- but moreover it's a bit lacking of the original Jazz Club. The smoke wasn't as smoky and it lacked some of the sweeter notes. It's a decent dupe, but I've tried better.

This one was too Manly for me. Love it on the hub. It doesn't project much. I have to smell his shirt or jacket to even catch the scent. I've never smelled Jazz Club so I can't say if it smells like it.
