Red Redemption Eau de Parfum

This is as close BR540 as close is rose to jasmin, meaning no resemblance. Interestingly, Pine in the Sun Scents of Wood was the closest resemblance I could think of and people have also compared it to BR540. I don't agree at all. Here, you get sweetness from pink pepper that is backed up by rose. The vétiver, oak moss and patchouli give it a deep almost leathery vibe but BR540 has a beautiful jasmin note that dominates and there is no earthy or leathery note there. Anyway, all three of them are great.

Love at first sniff. The blood orange provides a sweet and fresh accompaniment to the musky and amber-y rose. Wonderful projection but this is not a loud fragrance. Well balanced and I don't smell any of those nasty aroma chemicals I hate. This is smooth and beautiful.

Hibscus mahajad and Bacarat mixed. I hate both 😅 but together this is lovely .. perfect and uplifting

I have this in 15 ml it is very nice, it smells like lady vengeance by Juliette has a gun the patchouli is prominent and the rose is quite fresh, if you have lady vengeance you don ́t need both

Another "inspired by BR540 and Oud for Greatness" scent There are a lot of familiar things about this scent. At the same time, when I spray it, I think of both "Baccarat Rouge 540" and "Oud for Greatness" , this feels like some kind of combination of them with added roses. The scent is warmer and more multifaceted than "Oud for Greatness" and its metallic aroma is missing. The scent is tamer, and not at all as sweet as "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Extrait)" or even "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Edp)" . It misleadingly feels like there is Saffron in the scent, because the aroma is so similar to how it performs in the aforementioned scents. The earthy aroma in this scent undoubtedly comes from the combination of Patchouli and Oakmoss and is softened by the rich Rose, while Vanilla brings just the right sweetness to the scent without being sticky and medicinal. The aroma is rich and yet airy. Sometimes I miss it more depth and character, so that it would clearly stand out, and sometimes I would like it to be clearly more sophisticated, perhaps clearly more feminine. Somehow it feels like the scent is trying to be too many things at once. I don't like "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Extrait)" and even less the OG version or "Oud for Greatness" , but still especially BR540 Extrait is a phenomenal creation. "Red Redemption" is not unpleasant or bad in any way, but this style is just so overdone. I don't get anything interesting out of it anymore. If you have tried all possible variations and combinations of these scents and haven't found one you like, this is worth testing, but there is nothing groundbreaking here, nor anything that would clearly set it apart from the others. Unfortunately, this is not a clear rose-patchouli scent, but one interpretation of the BR540 and Oud for Greatness category. Even if I love rose scents and I want to collect them all, I don't need this one. The scent is completely unisex, has good longevity and projection, but is more subdued than the other three fragrances mentioned. The blend is balanced and it doesn't feel unpolished. I almost blind bought a full bottle if this, then came to my senses and ordered a 2ml sample instead. I'm glad I did! This one is not for me. It's a great quality fragrance, and it has a peppery rose which I love, but the vetiver and oakmoss in it are quite prominent, making it lean rather masculine, especially in the drydown. If unisex/masculine leaning rose fragrances are your thing, you will love this.

So disappointed with this one. Too expensive for something that smells quite a bit like BR540.

The orange accord is ever present. The pepper note, not at all, which is too bad because Red Redemption desperately needs it to differentiate itself from the many other offerings in this genre. Like some of the other reviewers, on the VERY initial spray, I originally thought BR540 vibes, but that's not correct. It's a soft orangey scent with some rose mixed in and is more reminiscent of Terre d'Hermes than BR540. More accurately, it smells like a combination of Terre d'Hermes and Spirit of Kings Aludra or, if you're not familiar with Aludra, then PDM Delina. Soft orange + soft rose. Disappointing since I already own TdH and Aludra and don't need yet another citric fragrance in my collection. Frankly, between Red Redemption and Aludra, Aludra is the much better offering. Orange just wasn't the right choice of note for this composition -- Aludra derives its fruitiness instead from lychee, which compliments the rose well, whereas orange competes against it. I have got the perfume about 4 days ago.. and i have tested it at least 3 times prior to owing it... well maybe the scent is not for everyone and it can lean feminine but a guy definitely can pull it no problem... it smells clean spicy and rosy.. i was a bit worried that i get noseblind to it as with all musk heavy fragrances that i own... but the surprise was that this thing kept pushing for 1 and half day non stop.. the quality is definitely there and its a certified beast in my book ( i don't give this title to any perfume lightly) ... so try before you buy it ....but definitely get it if you like the smell

What I thought/hoped Atomic Rose would smell like. Comparisons to BR540 or Oud for Greatness are completely bizarre to me.

This is the softest,warmest, best blended rose I have come across so far. I just want to bathe in it.
