Wood Whisper Eau de Parfum

I’m captivated by the enchanting whispers of ‘Wood Whisper’ by @ojarofficial crafted by the master perfumer Jordi Fernandez. True to its name, this is a soft fragrance that is cozy and comforting. It makes its presence felt in gentle wafts and soft whispers each time you pass by or when someone hugs you. If ”quiet luxury” was a perfume, this would be it . It has made its way into my husband’s favourite fragrances as well. In fact, while it smells lovely on me, it smells absolutely, sensuously amazing on my husband! My nose can’t really pick up the plum notes though I do get a bit of the violet, but I definitely get the warmth of sandalwood a bit of vanilla and more of the sensual amber and musk. When I wear Wood Whisper, I feel like I’m cocooned in a cozy, woody-musky embrace. 🍂💫 What I love most about this, besides the fact that it is totally unisex, is that it is available as an Oil Mist, EDP and Perfume Oil so that you can layer the fragrance for better longevity.

Pafory Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 17 First impression: One spray in and I’m already leaning closer. Rose and plum, but softened - never loud, never syrupy. Powdered, gently sweet, and surprisingly calm. It feels intentional, measured, composed. As it opens, sandalwood, violet, and cashmere wood take over. The violet blooms with restraint - no vintage fuss, no sharp edges - while the sandalwood brings a steady, comforting warmth. The whole heart feels serene and grounded, almost meditative. The drydown is where it settles into itself: clean, cosy, and warm. White amber, vanilla, and musk, underpinned by an earthy, slightly salty ambergris hum. Nothing dramatic, nothing abrasive - just smoothness and quiet confidence. It doesn’t announce itself. It whispers. It lingers. It invites you in. Full review to follow. Absolutely in love with this fragrance. It is a gorgeous sandalwood blend. Starts of a bit peppery to my nose but minutes later transforms into a beautiful sweet but not overly sweet softly sandalwood cloud with some floral accents. The violet adds powder and the plum sweetness. It evolves beautifully on my skin , it has no rough edges and it never overwhelmed my senses even when I over sprayed it. I would say it leans more feminine due to it’s softness and cloud like texture. I also find it similar to zadig en voltaire this is her but it doesn’t have the heavy synthetic undertone and it is considerably better constructed.

Sandalwood is central here, combined with cashmere woods, musks, elusive florals, and ambergris—smelling smooth, seasoned, sweet, and velvety with a lush floral texture. It's unisex, but leans more towards the feminine side. It’s not cloying, as it has a certain maturity. Up top, you get rose and plum, which aren't distinctive to my nose, but rather create a soft, jammy layer in a red or purple hue. Underneath that, the woods are dry; more calming, giving the right amount of balance to the sweetness.

Tested this in the shop tonight and I thought it was beautiful. I love sandalwood and this is a creamy sandalwood with a purple tinge (violet and plum). Not a loud fragrance, but I was catching whiffs for a few hours after. This is very cozy and fluffy.
