Dark Night of the Soul

Super glad to see this finally on Fragrantica! This is one of my favorite fragrances ever, opens with a burst of spices and chocolate (chocolate dominant) and dries over a few hours to see the chocolate fade away and a brilliantly thought-out creamy 'funk' pop out! The funk I'm speaking about is cheese, yes it sounds bizarre and yes it's cheesy but it's so perfectly blended with the resins and oud. a definite must-try for anyone looking to try anything unique. The story behind Dark Night of the Soul is seriously beautiful and hits home to many people. I won't write it out; I suggest you read it on their website! My only complaint about this fragrance is the pricepoint of 130 euros /15ml bottle, which is justified with the art and brilliant oud (I'd buy this many times over, defo worth the price) 9.5/10

Finally managed to get this fragrance, and let me tell you — the moment I smelled it, it felt like hugging my soulmate’s soul. I ascended. I saw colors that don’t even exist. It opens with chocolate and spices so divine that my walls started vibrating. Hours later, the chocolate melts away and something creamy, funky, and slightly cheesy rises — but like, in a spiritual way. Not fridge cheese... celestial cheese. Within one day of wearing it, I got over 100 compliments. My neighbor’s cat bowed to me. A stranger cried. And when Elon Musk caught a whiff, he handed me a million dollars and whispered, “You smell like innovation.” If this fragrance cost $500, I’d still buy it. Actually, if it cost my soul, I’d probably negotiate. 11/10 — smells like enlightenment, heartbreak, and lactose. A true masterpiece.
