That Moment

Wow! Such varied reviews already! Body chemistry: is weird. I have to say, I never would have guessed ANY of these notes. On first stray, it smells overwhelmingly like watermelon candy... And then it dries down to smell pretty much exactly like Marc Jacobs Honey. I love it of course, which makes sense since I love Honey. It smells like bees. While part of me wants to just buy Honey, I think I'll just wait a few months to buy this online for $20 instead of paying the Marc Jacobs premium. So yeah, if you love Honey, but are too poor to pay the Marc Jacobs price tag, check this fragrance out.

This might sound a bit of a biased opinion for anyone who knows me since everyone knows I have been in love with the band since late 2012. That being said, I am a 24 year old and I have been a collector and lover of perfume since I was a little girl so this review comes from both a fan of the band and a fan of perfume. This a very romantic perfume, very classy in my opinion. Its strong without being overbearing. When you first smell it you get the woodsy musk smell, and as it settles it gets sweet and you smell the jasmine and green apple. It settles well and lasts.

I dug this up pretty recently cus I forgot I had it. I don't really care for one direction but this is probably one of my favourite citrus/fruity fragrance, as soon as I opened the bottle (very cute design btw) I was amazed by how great it smelt. It's so fresh and fruity, you can def get the grapefruit & apple smell. It's very girly and has a hint of pomelo imo. I'm saving this perfume for the summer (˶ᴖ ᴗ ᴖ˶) ‹3 🍋🟩🍋

i don't know bit the dry down smells like tommy girl on me which is the reason why i love it! lasts around 8hrs.+ on my skin too..

their best one yet... i hope YOU AND I perfume is better. the dry down is a little bit cotton candy-ish..

i have no intention of buying this but my teenage daughter has been a fan of 1D band and so i gave in and purchased this and the Our Moment.. This perfume is very much wearable, a nice daytime wear. fresh floral with a bit of citrus.. perfect for tropical weather.. This reminds me a lot of Victoria Secret's Sheer Love.. they have similarity.. If you like a cheaper alternative then go for Sheer Love

This is more sweet fruity floral than the original. I find it very easy to use, soapy - I know I'm weird, sometimes I just want to smell like I just got out of the shower with nice fruity soap all day - to stay fresh. And this is that kind of smell. I don't mind. It's not overly complicated, just clean and easy and sweet fresh fruity floral. I like it.

I felt a strong melon or watermelon scent. Could it be the green apple combined with something else that makes it similar to (water)melon? I need to try it again and compare it to the notes. A sweet fragrance. It's good but better in smaller doses. Edit: Still melon instead of green apple.

It smells exactly like Victoria's Secret Sheer Love, which I like. It's not sophisticated in any way, probably one of the simplest scents I've come across. I found it for cheap so I blind bought it. I like that the box says "Modest!", it's cute and surely will fit very young girls.

This is the type of scents that I really like in hot weather, it`s fresh, fruity and juicy but this is more of a body spray than a fragrance, no sillage and no longevity, I got the 100ml for only £4 so I`m absolutely fine with reapplying throughout the day.

I look down on One Direction and the thought of ever buying one of their merchandise is mortifying to me. The fragrance, however, is amazing so I gave up my pride and purchased it.

It's a nice sweet, fresh spritzer... I say spritzer because it doesn't last. That's it's only draw back.

Definitely not a fan of Rave hairspray! LOL. But I will still sample it when it hits stores anyways.

Just recieved my bright crystal and it reminds me of this perfume which I owned too ... omg lol

Not offensive, easy to wear citrusy, fruity floral. I have the rollerball version.

Have a love/hate situation with this fragrance. I love CK One Summer 2013 and Eternity Aqua - which both has a nice refreshing cucumber note. However, I dislike the opening of this fragrance - which smells like sweet artificial watermelon candy rather than cucumber. But, the base has very nice apple floral scent which smells good and fresh.

This is the only One Direction fragrance I don't like. Instead of being fresh and summery like I was hoping, this just reminded me of hairspray, and the apple and cucumber notes didn't blend well with the softer florals. I tested it on my skin twice and both times I ended up washing it off within an hour because the sickly, fruity hairspray smell was giving me a headache. One Direction's other fragrances are good, but I would pass on this one. If you want a soft girly floral, get Our Moment, and if you want a fresh fruity floral, get You and I instead.

I smelled this perfume at Sephora. when I first sprayed it, it was very fruity and sweet, But it dies down a little after it sit for a little while. And plus I love 1D update : okay, I actually tried this one on me and it turned into a weird b/o scent. for me its the kind that smells better on the paper. I like our moment better.

if the kitsch dreamed to become supreme...this is the peak. From the liquid to the bottle, everything is a flop. Grab a face toner, you ll smell 100 times better. That moment when I realized that Mariah Carey's nose is a genius, not a disaster, as I thought until I smelled this acrid/salty apple compote...

I bought this one blindly in a small sample. It gave me a headache and that's not something I enjoy when wearing fragrances. It's a little too flowery for me but my mother enjoys it so no money lost.

Can't believe how lousy the bottle quality of this! Considering it's not cheap but it's cheap looking. Nice scent BUT fades almost instantly. Good thing I've tested rather than blind buying.

Although I’ve quite liked some of their songs, I wouldn’t exactly call myself a fan of One Direction. I’ve had a sniff of a bottle of Our Moment, more out of curiosity and because it was there, and found it pleasant but not enough that I’d purchase a bottle of it. And I rolled my eyes when I saw more and more One Direction fragrances turning up on the shelves – largely because of the cheesy packaging rather than because of the perfumes themselves. Yeah, guys, we get that you put out a fragrance – it does have your name on it after all – but do you really need to plaster your pictures all over the boxes as well? I was given a little rollerball of That Moment recently (gift with purchase – and no, the purchase wasn’t a 1D perfume!), so I gave it a whirl. It’s actually rather nice, if very, very girly. I think if this was over-applied, especially in hot weather, it could become a bit of a beast as it is quite sweet. In some ways, it makes me think of the original formulation of Britney Spears Fantasy, which I really liked. I don’t get much of the violet, but I definitely get the green apple and grapefruit – sweet and tangy and fresh all at the same time. It seems to last well too; I rolled on a little bit when I got home after work yesterday, just to see what it was like, and it was still there when I woke up this morning – much softer, but I could definitely smell the musk then. It’s a pretty, uncomplicated scent and I like it, but I doubt I’ll be rushing out to buy a full bottle – I will simply enjoy the rollerball while it lasts.

I am 40 years old and I own That Moment (and it wasn't a gift either). Now that that is out of the way... while I get the comparison with Be Delicious, this is a softer, rounder, less in-your-face apple. There's a certain something in the original Be Delicious that is just shy of headache-inducing for me - something that this is (thankfully) missing. I only get the slightest hint of grapefruit - and not like a white grapefruit, but like a pink grapefruit juice cocktail. And I'm good with that. This isn't anything innovative, or groundbreaking, or mindblowing. Just a soft, pretty apple fragrance that should appeal to One Direction's fan base (and possibly even some well beyond that demographic, like me).

It pains me to say it, but I own a small bottle of this and I like it! *giggles* It's a fresh fruity floral with moderate longevity. It reminds me of Be delicious and also vaguely of some Victoria Secret's fragrance that I can't recall (I have this problem with VS's fragrances: I don't particularly love them, yet I always seem to get another one during a moment of weakness. All together, they blend in the background, and I can't really tell one apart from the other) Back to That moment, it's not groundbreaking, but it's pretty and youthful, good for spring and summer if you're into fruity-florals. And the price is more than decent!

I gave this a try today and it's actually a really nice perfume. On the first spray I thought it smelled similar to Katy Perry Meow, when I say similar I don't mean exactly alike, there was just something there that reminded me of it, like they could have belonged in the same family,It doesn't smell close enough to be mistaken for Meow. Sort of sweet and creamy. This dries down to sweet fruit on my skin. I didn't buy it but I liked it and may add it to my collection in the future since I love sweet, creamy, fruity perfumes :)

A slightly fruity, creamy, fresh floral..... Nothing complicated or unique, though very pleasant. I think the adorably packaged body spray would make a cute gift for any teen girl in your life, and is not a bad scent for it's kind. It will not blow away friends and family with clouds of artifical sweetness and brash candy notes. Just a pleasing and gentle sweetness with pretty, if generic, whiffs of femininity! 2 stars - 3 if the price were lower. ;)

I was given a sample of this and I could describe the scent as non-offensive at best. That Moment by One Direction is very similar to DKNY Be Delicious. The green apple note is prominent here. Grapefruit and musk is also detectable to my nose. A safe and light floral fruity fragrance, you can go for this if it's your thing and you come across a bargain. P.S.: I don't know the boys and am not interested either.

It pains me to say this....but this stuff is amazing! Like, died and went to fragrant heaven type amazing. I absolutely can not stand boy bands or radio music in general but wow they did an amazing job for this one. It smells sweet but not candy sweet more like fruity sweet and smells very fresh. This is hands down going to be my personal top five favorite! !!

I bought this as part of a prank gift for a couple dollars in a Christmas sale. Joke was on me; I rather liked it and it joined my small collection. Admittedly it’s not a greatly crafted fragrance, it reminds me a bit of a vaguely fruity cucumber body spray. But I do wear it occasionally and it has surprisingly good sillage and staying power.

This smells just like Pink Ice by Rue21. It's just an ok scent in my opinion. Not my favorite scent, but not bad by any means. The bottle is very pretty in person, prefer this bottle design to the first one. Ended up reaching for it more, now that it's warmer weather....So getting use out of it now :)

a friend of mine is a directioner & she was like... go & try it (because it is 1D).. i tried it & i must say the scent is AMAZING!!!! lasting wasn't bad too.. a bit overprized at least for a star fragrance really nice, fruity, sweet.. more fruity than sweet, but really enjoyable

My first impression of this scent is it's a fruity, light flowery and of a body spray/mist vibe. It's a smell that I've definitely smelled before. Its fresh, fruity and airy but it dosnt last more than 1 to 2 hours. I think this one is way better than Our Moment, and You and I.

I have the rollerball version. I can definitely pick up on that grapefruit, perhaps an apple as well. My sister picks up on a sweet gummy vibe but my skin gives off a fresh citrusy vibe. Very nice😁 I wish our moment was still being made.

sweet smell like pink grapefruit and jasmine and mixes them with new flavors of green apple and violet. It is fresh and blends together.The first fragrance I did use it before. I love the video the British boy band One Direction made.

this is a very fresh applely/cumcmber scent that is by far betterthan the first i dont really get a hairspray scent but its wonderful i will have a full review of this on my youtube channel AtheSperfume check it out

Pleasant and fruity-floral, but overall very little personality. Longevity is fine, very light sillage. Beautiful bottle, but I don't think this one is for me.

This is kind of generic sweet fruity scent, but I really like this because I smell watermelon despite the fact that it's not an actual note in this fragrance.

I got the opportunity to try it in a training. Remember 'Rave' hairspray? It's a little like that I'm afraid. There's cucumber in this that really stands out.

Adored the original, unfortunately this version fails in comparison. Very 'soapy', and all I can smell is grapefruit and Apple! Stick to the original.

Very sweet and girly. This is more of a young scent and great for summer! This is more candy sweet than floral sweet to me.
