Rain

With a large collection of over 500 bottles (+ hundreds of decants), it's not very often a fragrance stops me in my tracks, urging me to sniff more and more of its uniqueness. What does Rain by One Seed smell like? Let me paint you a picture... It's an early Spring morning after overnight rain, the air is still, the sun's rays just kissing the ground and you find yourself at the most wonderful plant nursery. You are the only person there which seems to heighten your senses, allowing you to drink-in all the heady aromas of your surrounds. The rain has brought to life all the nursery has to offer, from the damp earth and vegetation under-foot to the mélange of greenery, all the while the hint of sweet blooming Spring flowers gently wafting around and over, tying everything together in perfect harmony. As of Nov 2023, there are no ingredients listed here on Fragrantica, so I will take the liberty of taking a peek at the notes-list from the box that my bottle of Rain came in... Start with some sandalwood, ambrette seed, and labdanum, add in the greenness of violet leaf, vetiver, and tomato leaf, and finally a little rose and mimosa to tie it all together. Let it...Rain!

This is the first scrubber I've tested i think. I really wanted it off my skin the moment it touched me. Its just not what I was expecting from a fragrance called rain. If I could stand smelling it some more, i'd go into further detail, but I can't get past the intensely powdery opening and the cloying florals?! No notes listed here, so who the heck knows what is in here. it's very long lasting too. I can't get it off my skin.
