Raspberry Rose Rapture

I'm not a gourmand gal, but I am absoluuutely in love with this one! This is totally not my usual cup of tea; it smells pink, feminine, sweet, and LOUD. It's definitely boozy but only in the beginning with the roses and raspberries, then the sweetness of the chocolate comes in. This doesn't smell like sugar, it's legitimately chocolate powder. It does get a bit powdery in a few hours but I still keep huffing at my wrists and get wafts of it when I'm walking around, the sillage is HUGE. If you walk in and out of a room, everyone will know it's you! This was an expensive fragrance for me so I try to use it sparingly and for special occasions only. I use maybe a 1/4 of a spritz for my wrists and behind the ears as I don't want to overwhelm anybody, it lasts for 6-8 hours on my skin. I can only imagine it suffocating those surrounding you in the summer.. I wore this to a date last night, when he leaned over to kiss me he said "you smell different.. you smell much stronger" I asked is it bad? He goes, "No you smell REALLY good, I like it" and that got me another kiss :)

I normally don't wear gourmand perfumes - I find them tacky, childish and tiring. But this one is a different beast altogether. I have a small decant that I've consumed in no time, I love the perfume - it's cold outside; I smell raspberry (smells like the real thing, not like what we call raspberry in perfumery) plus dark cocoa power/ dark chocolate plus a bit of brandy, and after a while the roses show up.. this is to die for. Now I just need to find me a bottle in Europe. Send me a message if you have a bottle to sell please!
