Gardenia's Whisper

This is my favorite from the mist line, which I was not expecting from the notes. There is a bit of "mustiness" like an old library vibe to it which I can't really explain in scent notes, but I actually enjoy it and think it works well. It's like the scent is seen through a fog, if that makes sense. It's very diffused. It's not at all floral-forward, it isn't obnoxious. It's like the scent form of violet candies, sweet and floral but in a candied way. I cannot smell any given note separately. It just smells like a puff of sweet smoke with a vague waft of florals. I absolutely love it. It is VERY LIGHT and close to the skin. It is advertised as needing to be re applied often and being so light you cannot overspray it. For a $40 I do think that's wild. I wish this came in the perfume format.

I don't know what kind of magical potion this is, but I'm in love!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 😃 This was a love at first sniff. I'm not sure what my nose is picking up the most but it must be either the patchouli or amber done in such a soft, delicate, sweet (not that sweet) way. Absolutely love this scent. 😀

I have been looking for a light and refreshing scent for my summer vacation to Western Europe and picked this one up. I tend to lean more towards floral notes, but this one has infused rose water. Unfortunately, that was not advertised. If it didn’t have the rose, I think this would have opened up to a much lighter fragrance, but the rose makes it so heavy, cloying, and almost claustrophobic. I realize this is considered a hair and body perfume mist, but there is little to no sillage. I tested it on my skin and I have to lift my wrist up to smell it since I sprayed it on one hour ago. For $40, I’d expect some lingering scent that I wouldn’t need to sniff for in the precise spot I sprayed it on. The scent on my clothes are nice and light, though, and that’s not too bad. Still, I’ll be returning this perfume mist and look for something else.

This is just unbearably sweet on skin. The fruit notes remind me of the pear in La Belle or Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar; it's a toothache. Fortunately, the whisper suggested by the title seems to be quite literal, as this scent has virtually no projection or longevity.

A kind of... "generic" light floral... but is "BARELY THERE"!
