Neon Oud

Now this is something, the smoky-fruity opening leaves this exotic sexy oudy dry down. This perfume truly smells niche and definetly not for everyone. It will turn heads.

A very striking composition, perfectly aligned with the niche concept of the Top Scents line. It opens with salty leather underlined by smoky incense accords, occasionally highlighted by subtle hints of strawberry. As the fragrance unfolds, it smooths slightly, adopting tones reminiscent of cathedral incense, though the base once again emphasizes the salty accords. Longevity is excellent—lasting all day—with strong sillage. While I can imagine this composition worn by a strong woman, I would primarily dedicate it to men.

The notes are there, dominated by the oud. They go away relatively fast though. It goes into a linear oud, which thankfully doesn't turn sweet. Soon enough I started experimenting. It's a good base for my lighter perfumes, who need a body and something to hook on, to keep them from evaporating so fast. If I received a bottle of it, I'd use it. To buy it myself, I'm not exhilarated enough. Maybe I would have been, before the Kayalis and niche becoming so mainstream. Alas, for the price I think there's better.

This is a no for me. Too much oud, too much smoke, too much of everything. It burns my nostrils.
