Paradis Rouge

Paradis Rouge is part of the fragrances of O.U.i aimed at the female audience and was launched as a Special Edition inspired by Paris' greatest icon, the Eiffel Tower. The creative concept addresses the idea of Parisian paradise, which is portrayed by the imposing of its construction, as well as the strong lighting at night, which attracts visitors from all over the world to the extensive lawn of the Champ des Mars, the garden at the feet of the Eiffel Tower. The fragrance of Paradis Rouge combines notes of cardamom, at the top; Damascus rose, in the body, and sandalwood, at the base. It is classified as floral-spicy and it is worth remembering that it carries a percentage of "L'Essence de Grasse", which is an ingredient present in all the brand's creations, exploring the harvests of rose, sage, lavender, mimosa, and leaves of violets, native to southern France, known as the Five Exceptional Harvests. In practice, Paradis Rouge is one of those compositions that seem easy to analyze, due to the simplicity of its olfactory pyramid, but ends up proving to be complex. By the way, it doesn't seem like a creation of Fabrice Pellegrin, whose signature is more noticeable in his other women's creations for O.U.i. In this one, the structure of cardamom + flower + creamy base makes me think of Marie Salamagne, but this is just a detail I decided to share. On the skin, Paradis Rouge is a creamy floral, with a lot of rose presence – without excessive powdery or metallic nuances – and full-bodied sandalwood, which reveals a very milky drying. At the output, if the sprays are generous, the clean (and blazing) side of the rose will appear, but nothing that changes the result significantly. And cardamom is not as spicy as you might think, but it brought a resinous and warm facet. Paradis Rouge embodies elegance and, at the same time, a malleable characteristic, which suits those women with direct conversations, sincere smiles, and zero tricks, you know? The famous “easy-going” type that, by the way, men use to love, no matter the type of their relationship. On my skin, it lost a lot of the initial projection, but the durability was not compromised. Compared with the other women's fragrances of the brand, which have been launched so far, this one seems to be the easiest to please a larger number of consumers. It's chic, oozes quality, and doesn't bring any surprises along the way. And as it is a Special Edition, in addition to featuring an illustration of the Eiffel Tower on the side of the box, the bottle was painted in ruby red, which contrasts with the golden finishings and reinforces the luxury codes. The beautiful design by Thierry de Baschmakoff was kept, respecting the visual identity.

Comprei esse pq num primeiro momento achei que ficaria amadeirado na minha pele, infelizmente não esperei direito e ele ficou meio assabonetado depois de algumas horas, ainda bem que comprei a amostra de 4ml. Enfim, não é horrível se comparado com outros perfumes da marca que eu testei, mas não vale o preço de jeito nenhum. Outra coisa é que assim como todos os outros perfumes da marca que eu testei, ele também não é muito original, tenho certeza que já senti esse cheiro em outro perfume antes. Tinha esperanças de que essa marca fosse lançar perfumes diferentes, mas nem de longe, a granado atende melhor a essas expectativas.

Not worth the price at all and I agree with Cadera97. It's not elegant. It's not awful but it smells cheap.

It smells like red berries in a cheap children's cologne. It's not elegant at all and the price point of this brand is preposterous.
