Le Pavillon D'Or

Unisex This unusual beauty is a floral woody, greenish scent which turns from the bitter and for some maybe even harsh opening into soft calmness. This is an elixir of therapeutic, relaxing, aromatic and exotic notes and it’s warm and cozy but not in the traditional and so used noticeable “Vanilla way”. This is a mix of not so familiar ingredients and it makes this interesting. You get the feeling of tranquility inside the bubble which Pavillon D’Or creates and it’s noticeable around you as well, not too loud, not too weak, just in the right kind of projection for this kind of scent. What makes this really interesting as well, the character of all Pissara’s creations, is the ability to differ a lot depending on the wearer. It’s impossible to tell in advance in what kind of way Dusitas are going to behave on the skin and which of the notes will open most prominently. One thing is sure: the more warm the juice gets the prettier it comes. This scent is really special, it’s not for everyone so test it and do it many times since you don’t get the whole picture of the scent straight away. I wore this many days to understand this totally and to notice all its beautiful facets. I wanted to open up the different notes little bit. If you are after a relaxing and easy going fragrance that will calm your nerves and give you a feeling of complete tranquility, then this fragrance is for you! Le Pavillon D'Or is an easy fragrance to understand. It smells yellow. A warm, cozy but vibrant yellow, to be exact. To me it smells like a warm cup of sophisticated herbal mountain tea. It has a therapeutic nature about it. I get whiffs of chamomile, refreshing mint, lots of honeysuckle with a soft powder and delicate woody base. I am not big on Fig or Fig leaf in a fragrance but it is blended so beautifully here that it gives it a perfect touch of leafy greenness and balances out the sweetness. It is a fragrance for the wearer to enjoy as it sits closer to the skin. I could not see it being strong or bold by any means, it would lose it's refinement if it were made any different. I would wear this fragrance all year round although I would imagine it would truly bloom and show it's full potential in Autumn and Spring, on a day where it's not too hot and not too cold. When I first tried this fragrance my first reaction was 'My goodness, Pissara has done it again!' Le Pavillon D'Or is a perfect new addition to an already outstanding collection. It fits perfectly with the previous additions. One thing is for sure, Pissara is a genius when it comes to making herbal type florals 💚

Le Pavillon d'Or feels as if it's embroidered with crushed ivy leaves, obscure vegetation. Herbes de Provence, and dispersed among the foggy moors of my imagination. It begins with green sap and distant filmy flowers, a mollifying effect comes over me. There is a forest-like flavor, like Labrador tea, some armoise, and acorns, shrouded with orris, growing more powdery and blurry. Now there are misty oaks, autumn grasses, and heliotrope at dusk. I am then reminded of a thyme-scented soap imported from France I used some years ago. From green to grey, bitter to sweet, it travels through twigs and stems, branches and boughs, further into the sweetest, most serene oblivion. It feels vintage, but also on another plane, like something an 18th century English poet would conjure up from imagination. I think of William Blake: "The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity... and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself."

Wow, this one turned from mehh to addiction for me. When I first sprayed it, I felt it was way too powdery and almost like a bug spray, I didn't like it. I let it age and weather started to get warmer and tried again. I could smell the notes more clearly. It reminds me of arctic summer, when you're in the forest surrounded by aromatic and slightly bitter flowers and plants, with the mosquitos, and the 90s mosquito repellent oil. The sun is shining. Now this is a powder bomb, much more powdery than the prada iris perfume or the chanel n.19 poudre version. It's powdery in a buttery or "sticky beepollen" type of way. It has vintage feel but in a refreshing unique way. This perfume in heat is SO beautifull. Not sexy, nor seductive. But being so beautifull could be considered sexy. I can't stop smelling the empty bottle like an addict. The smell is therapeutic, and now I detect more oak (beautifull whiskey barrel smell). Love the combination between warm and cool. Reminds me of arctic summer with my sisters <3

It smells like a warm late spring garden, just breathtaking. I've been looking for such vibrant young greens and fresh flowers for a long time. The opening burns the nostrils for a moment, like the glint of gold in the sun burns the eyes) There is a strong galbanum effect here, but the galbanum itself is not in the composition. I adore honeysuckle, in my opinion it is one of the most “perfumed” flowers - it has such a rare, complex mixture of delicate sweetness, citrus freshness and tartness. But in perfumery, if it appears occasionally, it just smells sweet and boring. In Le Pavillon D'Or, the honeysuckle note is the most realistic for me at the moment. And the fig leaf here is very youthful and tart, without any annoying sweet powderiness or milkiness. However, Le Pavillon D'Or is not about a single flower or leaf, it's about the whole garden and the glitter of gold. My God, how wonderfully and seamlessly it is done!

I have the travel size of this perfume is 7.5 ml. It is a perfume with a duration around 10 hours, with a medium-high intensity the first hour and then it is located at a medium intensity. I can tell you that this perfume is a combination of aromatic notes, woods ... the perfume that represents an exotic forest where life comes from the aromas it gives off. But as much as I tell you that forest aroma if you don't try it you can't know what its aroma is like. The soul of this perfume is the exotic notes that make it different and special. Exotic and mysterious. As much as you read, no matter how much you look at its notes you will not know what its aroma is like until you taste it. It can perfectly be a feminine perfume if you enjoy green and woody aromas. Many men will love this perfume and it will be extremely attractive and for all types of ages.

Le Pavillon d’Or opens with a burst of fresh green mint and the sparkling floral sweetness of honeysuckle in perfect harmony. This wonderfully green dewy opening is pushed forward by a blend of galbanum and fig leaf. As the fragrance evolves boronia absolute adds a fruity floral touch, perfectly complementing the opulence of golden-honeyed frankincense. The gentle herbal warmth of white thyme oil adds relaxed refinement. As the fragrance moves into dry-down soft vanilla and toasted rum barrel aromas of English Oakwood are blended with a classic, clean & woody Sandalwood. Holy hell.... L O V E On my skin it’s a creamy, smooth, exotic, herbal scent. I thought Erawan was my favorite from Dusita and I’m proven wrong. This is the second time I have worn Le Pavillon d’Or and I pulled the trigger. I have now sampled all the Dusita collection and this is my personal favorite. It is linear after the brief opening fades, but I don’t care. I simply love it. I’m going to go on record and say that’s it’s the best fragrance with a mint dominant opening I’ve ever experienced. Extremely high quality, and very natural. In Seattle this is a Spring and Summer scent (most other places I would say Spring only). Our weather is so mild it’s perfect right now. I can’t stop sniffing my arm.

This is Amouage's Reflection Man but -- and this is very strange to say when comparing with Amouage -- the resins in it, olibanum from the notes' list and maybe more, makes it especially interesting version of it. It's strange to compare with Amouage because usually the resins make Amouage scents so special. Le Pavillon D'Or has exactly the same overwhelming, luxurious and amazing sweetness in it. And the resins make it smell like something from the past, even a bit like old house perhaps, old furniture. Very interesting creation. It made me curious how would Reflection Man smell together (mixed or layered) with some of my benzoin-heavy or why not even musty-vetiver or strong-oud scents.

The most beautiful perfume. It is suitable for any person, at any time of day, any time of year. It is a perfume of the eternal, of things that remain truthful always. It is quiet and serene. It’s the beauty of a quiet lake at sunset, or a mossy forest glade with the first golden rays of sunrise glowing through the leaves of the trees. It’s not dramatic florals that are so lovely in their own way, partially because they’re temporary. This, as I said, is eternal. Quiet. Meditative. They say it’s very hard to describe a perfume you truly love, and I agree with that. To me this perfume is nearly perfect.

A bright, spicy, vivacious scent, complex and impeccably blended. There’s a green freshness here, open and airy, with woods that ground the scent without burying it in the dirt. A fragrance that lilts. A natural openness, the mint infusing life into a bright honeysuckle with orris root whispering in the background. There’s a quiet, complex beauty here, effervescent yet serene. The colorful eruption of spring set against new grass and warmed by the sun. Not the plants themselves but the air around them, a world rinsed clean and emerging anew, everything in its right place.

Very original and lovable. It reminds me of turmeric. It is exotic, warm, intense yet soothing. Arabia, spices on the market, sunshine, tropical environment. Possibly India. Asia in general. A scent of another continent and culture. Pavillon D'Or. I think the scent fulfills the promise. Might be orris root and herbs at play, but to me it plays on turmeric facets - it is a multifaceted jewel that will surprise many times, there is a lot going on in it. Made a great impression on me - originality and wearability-wise. Not quite a love yet more than like.

This fragrance feels like an Amouage to me! It’s got that sweet/sour friction that keeps me coming back for another sniff. Green, aromatic, woody, with just a little sweetness in the back of my nose. I ordered the sample set from Luckyscent and am now almost wishing I hadn’t because while some scents definitely didn’t work for me, quite a few certainly have! This one has a more grown up tone to it- I get a chypre vibe as well as a fougere - it depends on what stage I’m in. Very nice.

Oh what magic this is. A sharp minty green and earthy opening melts into some mixture of things I can't fully identify. Soft and aromatic woodsy with flowers here and there. Herbal for sure. But yes the fig. A green wooded garden with a powdery airiness to it, but only just barely. Only slightly sweet. Not a set of notes I'm fully familiar with or have seen before. Something new everytime I smell my wrist... Unusual and addictive and wonderful.

It's a beautiful scent. Very elegant and very unisex. You immediately get the leafy green of the fig leaf. It is also powdery, floral and woody. It is quite a stimulating scent (the herbs) but also calming (oak and boronia). Quite an achievement. I can't pick out the honeysuckle but I guess it provides a little sweet nectar element. It's a clean and perhaps a modern scent. I don't get much development. Pretty much linear.

I quite like this. To me it is unisex and very easy to wear. The opening is just so nice and I love it. However the drydown is a powdery green herbal wood and while really nice its not wowing me. I think if the sandalwood was a little more prominent than I would be in love. Very casual inoffensive. Maybe 40+. Like a couple sitting outside in their adirondack chairs in the shade on a nice spring day.

This is an unusual powdery scent. It's such an interesting combination of mostly orris, fig leaf, mint, thyme and oak. It kind of smells like drinking mint tea in a magical forest. First stage is more orris and wood, then it gains more of these herbal, green, minty qualities. Very beautiful, I love this. A unique take on orris, an artistic creation. +

This is my new favorite fragrance to wear before and after doing yoga. It is herbal and floral with some autumn grass but at the same time not too cloying or heavy. Fresh and green with some resins. Makes me feel so refreshed and refined during the day even when I am sweating.

Gold is what I think about when I smell this on my wrist. Golden leaf on the ground, golden glint on a faraway temple roof, golden sunlight and golden sweetness of honeysuckle. What a beautiful scent, what a joy to wear. When the wind turns cold, this scent sparkles.
