Mawj Cognac Blaze

Straight of the bat. I have to say this because this parfum should be recognised more. PLEASE! Stop comparing this to Killian Angel Share. And stop calling it a Angel Share dupe/copy. It is not. It is much more closer to Killian Old Fashioned and this is what It's resembles very closely. Price to performamce on Cognac Blaze is insane. Two 100ml bottles less than $155 AUD! 200ML!!!! Considering Killian Old Fashioned goes for around $600 AUD and that's one 100ml. Want two? $1200 AUD..... I easily find that Cognac Blaze is the better peformer and more complex parfum. It smells closer to a Cognac/Rum Old Fashioned made with mandarin and has the mandarin peel as garnish, that bitter sweet oil in the rind lingers adding a citrus freshness. While no booze is in Cognac Blaze, is certainly has a nice quality of booziness. Smelling like a good quality cognac or a rum that has a strong scent of mollasses. Then coffee beans, fresh coffee beans comes to mind. There also is a slight smokiness coming through... Smoked mandarin old fashioned? Could be... This is sounding more like a very good cocktail now hahaha. I could go on and on about this fragrance.. But there is enough reviews and impressions. Tonka and vanilla also come through with a touch of sandalwood and black pepper. On the dry down, it becomes a little less sweet compared to Killian Old Fashioned, but I prefer this as it also does smell a little smoother and more relaxed. I find it lasts on my skin for 8 hours maybe 9. And on clothes, easily can go for a whole day. Absolutely love this stuff. Easy to over spray though, but It's high up there with some very nice boozy fragrances. Right next to Lubin Idole, Bentley Intense, Killian Black Phantom, Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin, Frapin 1697, Atkinsons Pirates Grand Reserve and many others. As in, It's boozey, warm and perfect for cold days & nights. As always, your nose is the ultimate judge. But for me. This gets a 50 outta 10. Especially when comparing it to Killian Old Fashioned. No they are not 100% identical. But judging the two as separate colognes and both trying to be something similar... Aka represent a smoked mandarin old fashioned.... Cognac Blaze does it better. It has more citrus and air, the booze isn't as heavy as to Killian Old Fashioned but it is better in how it compliments every other note. Think of it as a more refined Killian Old Fashioned. Great stuff !!

First impressions on this after 2 wearings: This is a richer, darker, more balsamic version of Rich/Warm/Addictive from Zara... It is basically an improvement to that as far as I see it... I will let this sit and see if it changes, but I like this a lot at first sniff... And it performs better than that one Will get back with thoughts after a few more wearings.. EDIT So, I've worn this a few times... It is fairly linear, with a bit more freshness in the opening... The main theme of the scent is a coconut-y, balsamic vanilla with coffee and a boozy feel to it with a smooth sandalwood note underneath... I don't feel like there is a boozy note to it, rather the boozyness coming from the way the vanilla is used.. It is very mass-appealing , rich, a bit playful, but also has an elegant edge to it.. As for performance, this is where this shines a lot.. It screams off my skin quite a lot, lasts till I wash it off (on clothes can last over 1 week), but it never becomes overwhelming... It has an airyness to it that makes it so attractive.. I paid a little over 20$ for this and at that price that's a steal! Hope this helps! Take care!

FRESH OUT OF BOX EXPERIENCE: just received today at 14:45 Applied at 1500hrs 2 sprays one at back of my hand and other on inner side of elbow. No messed up alcohlic blast, but slightly confused opening for me which settled very quickly within minutes and became boozy caramel latte coffee vibe. Kept getting whafts of that beautiful mellow yet rich coffee/latte smell for atleast 6 hours and now at 22:30hrs its skin scent still strong enough to last unless washed off. All in all if you like this kind of scent profile, its not going to disappoint you, outstanding performance which is going to get better with maceration, moderate projection, not too intense and sweet to cause a headache like khamrah qahwa, rather soft and toned down which works perfectly for someone who is not looking for headache inducing intense experience. 9/10 for me

I've had a decant of this for a while, and after months of convincing myself I didn't need it, I ended up picking it up regardless. It's less dense and syrupy than Khamrah, Royal Blend and the other fragrances it often gets compared to, but I think it actually works to its benefit. Its airy presence and citrus top note make it significantly more versatile in the spring and fall, while Khamrah and friends can be very overwhelming in comparison. It's also quite nice for layering, to add boozy depth without interfering with whatever you apply on top of it. If you don't care much for nuance in syrupy boozy scents, this will likely feel redundant to you, but I'm personally quite pleased to have this in my rotation.

This stuff is great, very very nice pleasant smell. Not overpowering in any of the notes, and just a perfect interpretation of this line of dupes for angels share, but also may I add, don’t buy this if you are looking for a carbon copy for Angels share, it is not that, out of the two I prefer this fragrance, it is wayy more wearable. But if I were to describe it, its a blend of khamrah qahwa, angel share, and then somehow add in freshness and citrus, in best subtle way.
