Grey Quartz

An obvious dupe for Fahrenheit - not as strong or long-lasting, but pretty much does the same job..I`m a huge fan of F I had to get this one, as it was around 25 euro for a 100ml bottle, well, I must say it is well worth that price! I do recommend, you won`t g wrong with this one, plus it will wear easy in the summer months too as it isn`t as heavy as the original..But is does last - well, Im a lady and I tried it on myself, but after 6 hours I can still smell it, so I see no problem with longevity there..Thumbs up, I`m in!

I bought a Dior Fahrenheit with a different flask and minus the gasoline vibe, as the violets have been grown far from a petrol station for sure. It has also been 80% cheaper than usual. Highly recommended!

I don't understand why the name cacharel pour l'homme is mentioned. There are no similarities. It has something in common with Fahrenheit, but not much. nice perfume.

This a must for all the Fahrenheit lovers. Today I bought my 2d bottle for €15.00. Hiper recommended!

Actual Notes: Top: Bergamot, Mandarin, Lavender Mid: Violet leaf, Nutmeg, Carnation Base: Patchouli, Vetiver, Leather Was expecting a modernized version of Fahrenheit, and that's exactly what this is. The petrol vibe is completely absent, although so are a good deal of the other notes. The opening is very confusing and chemical-leaning, although there is a clear synthetic mandarin and violet leaf up top. A dusty nutmeg comes in soon after, followed by a non-minty geranium and a whisper of powdery vetiver. No leather as far as I can tell. The whole thing settles down nicely within 20 minutes and the projection is very decent for the first hour. Quality is on par with a Zara clone though, so don't expect anything natural. In fact, individually, the notes smell incredibly hollow and cheap to my nose; but together, you really can't tell. I have to say though that the orangey violet leaf blend is done very well for about 40 minutes, before the stuff quickly begins to degrade and disappears completely after only 3 hours on skin. Luckily,the sweet spot is extended for a good 6-8 hours on clothing, so this is a shirt sprayer FOR SURE. The bottle is also smaller than expected for a 100 mL, although the atomizer works great and the cap feels like wood (but doesn't click into place). So yeah, think Fahrenheit goes for a swim in a glass swimming pool atop an ultra modern apartment. Definitely more sleek and wearable than Bora Bora Exotic from Claiborne. Just double tap your clothing and from a distance, most people will probably think you're wearing Fahrenheit anyway. A very decent iteration, if only for the sentimentality. Scent - 8/10 Longevity - 4/10 - 7/10 on clothing Projection - 5/10 Overall - 6/10

Ok. This is good. This is real good. Smooth. Masculine. Clean. I’ll echo the same sentiments that a few reviewers before me here have stated correctly. Grey Quartz is an underrated gem of a fragrance that walks along the lines of Dior’s Fahrenheit but, I also get a bit of Encre Noire Sport by Lalique in here as well. It opens up with the combo of citrus with that wonderful violet note that is slightly bitter and smokey yet easy and not in your face. This fragrance transitions smoothly from start to finish with a quality of wearing that conjures up fragrances that cost several times over. That drydown is top notch with that vetiver & patchouli that is dry yet full bodied and balanced. It mixes very nicely with one’s body chemistry, well at least my own. 30 & up need only apply. The quality is there and it distinguishes itself brilliantly. This is a great suit & tie elixir but, you can wear this anytime you really please. It’s a steal for the $$$...

Awesome cheapie, Very reminiscent of the now sadly discontinued Fahrenheit Aqua, which also went much milder on the violet leaf. It had grapefruit and manderin instead of bergemot and tangerine but still close, over a similiar base of Leather and Vetiver. Downside it that it fades quickly, but for a couple hours is pretty good.

It was cheap (12€/100ml) so I gave it a chance. Wow! I was surprised at how high quality the product is. A very nice option for Fahrenheit. It is not exactly the same smell because it is missing some "dark" notes but I like this more. Longevity and sillage are good enough (moderate). I'm happy and pleased. 8/10

June 2019: Hmmm - reminds me of Gucci Pour Homme II. Very nice. Edit August 2019: I guess that’s the violet leaf - there is no tea in the Grey Quartz, and GPHII has tea a plenty :)

Like Farenheit never happened. Softer, brighter, strong and long lasting. The violet leaf is heavenly. Gorgeous.

This does have the Fahrenheit DNA but it's lighter with the darker notes taken out. Instead of petrol like smell, you get a salty cucumber like scent to my nose. It's nice in that the Fahrenheit DNA is so great, but I also think the darker notes are a really important part which are missing here. This is also quite synthetic smelling. It's one of those where I don't think this is something a person should smell like; it's more of a room scent. I get the same feeling from Nautica Voyage (which doesn't smell like this btw and I like that one more than this). I bought this not realising it was a clone of Fahrenheit and I don't really wear it too much mainly because of that synthetic quality to it which works in some fragrances but not here. I have never worn this around other people, only when I'm at home and want to wear something but don't want to waste the more expensive ones I have. I paid £12 for 100ml so I don't get why someone below is talking about anyone wanting a clone of Grey Quartz. Performance for such a cheapie is good, maybe a little too good as I wouldn't want to smell like this longer than a couple of hours. You get maybe 5 or 6 hours out of this. To be honest, if anyone is looking at this to get a clone of Fahrenheit, don't bother. Even at such a cheap price, it's not worth it. Save a bit and get the real thing or look at something else.

I recently found a bottle of this at the Target in Little Armenia. I decided I would read some reviews before I boosted it because their security guard looks like Usain Bolt. I was very disappointed to find that nobody here has actually reviewed Grey Quartz. I did however find plenty of reviews for Dior's Fahrenheit. With this knowledge in hand, I headed east on Sunset to the dollar store where I purchased a bottle of D'or? Celsius for .99¢US.... Long story short - I applied the Celsius liberally, blazed a J, and headed back to Target with my newly formed circular logic. Although I never made it back to Target, I can tell you that Celsius does not project well, but does have a pleasant dry-down and is a good blind-buy if you are looking for a solid clone of Grey Quartz.

colder and lighter version of Fahrenheit... nice, cheap, but boring. after 3h on my skin undetectable. ibought it because of great experience with PM Ville Ochre (nice scent, great longlivety & siliage). Pascal, this time you've dissapointed me.

Doesn't smell like Fahrenheit, but definitely has the Fahrenheit dna. Smells like what could be a Fahrenheit flanker. Not as strong as Fahrenheit. Doesn't have as much of that gasoline type smell that you find in Fahrenheit.

Close enough to my 2017 EDT Farenheit not to matter. At the price it's a no brainer. Performs very well. Worn it for two days since receiving it. Performs as well or better than the original on me.

Fahrenheit-esque for non-fahrenheit lovers (like myself). It's pretty much a less-in-your-face Dior clone. I sprayed heavy and it delighted me for 9+ hours. Cheap-o jackpot.

Good Fresh light strong perfum in style of Dior Fahrenheit. Here on my skin very nice open notes of spices and leather...Super quality

This one is 99% Fahrenheit.I don't believe how lucky we are all of us that use authentic Fahrenheit
