Armour Code Uomo

Dang! So I was actually sent my bottle of Armour Code Uomo by mistake when I ordered a different fragrance. I had like ZERO interest in trying the Armani Code dna as I recall trying it DECADES ago and not really liking it much at all. The discounter was nice enough to just let me keep the bottle and they sent me what I ordered, and I am SO GLAD they did! Now, like @Nose Note #193 below me has stated, the performance for Armour Code was NOT good (INITIALLY) But after NOT having used it for over 5 months, its been stored away in its box "Maturating" diring that tiime. Since the weather has become milder, I wanted to finally wear something that was NOT a "Freshie" and so I decided on this. Did 3 sprays on my neck, 4 on my shirt and its was BANGIN' throughout my entire 8 hour work shift which is a VAST IMPROVEMENT to the performance since I'd last worn it over 5 months ago! I got complimented when Id first arrived to work then like 5 hoirs later first by a co-worker, and then 5 hours later by a customer. The actual scent has also become richer, smoother and more nuanced making this fragrance an excellent choice for the Fall season into Winter. So yeah, if you enjoy the Armani Code original dna and have a bit of patience to let this little GEM "maturate" its a fantastic pick up and I highly recommend it!

Nose Note #193 Smells both simple and complex. Has this coca-cola kind of vibe MFK Grand Soir has too, but this one is 100% manly. If you are into niche perfumery and have been out of touch for a long while, this designer fragrance may be a delight for you. A fragrance designed to please just about anybody. I don't think anyone would not like this. I love it, my wife really likes it. It's a no-brainer Performance is pathetic though 9/10, still amazing

I randomly happened upon this fragrance at a local fragrance boutique that houses a lot of dupes. Under the "new arrivals" section, I took a glance and immediately my eyebrows went up. I had been searching three years to fill the Armani Code Profumo-sized hole in my heart. Smelled pretty much exactly like how I remembered the Profumo DNA: vanilla, tonka, and amber mixed with fruits and florals - like a refreshing root beer float. After wearing it for a couple of days ... I now remain disheartened, especially in this cooler weather. The performance is extremely lackluster. I'm lucky if I get more than 2 hours on my skin with no projection and the aroma just dissipates. I'll follow the advice from the comment below me and hopefully will pull out some more longevity since I really don't want to give up on this fragrance.
