Honeyed Fantasy

I got a sample of this with my order from WiTR and OMG it was LOVE at first sniff. I have never smelled the OG but I do have a couple of designer and niche fragrances with honey and I love them too. I will definitely be getting a bottle for Winter which is almost upon us in Australia. This fragrance is warm and sexy and powdery. I'm 56 F and I think it represents me very well. I don't get the menthol/tiger balm reference at all but in saying that, I love that smell lol. All said, this would have to be one of the best Middle Eastern fragrances I've tried and I own about 20 now. LOVE.

I can't smell Tiger Balm/ menthol at all. Well, maybe a tiny little bit now you all mentioned it ;) To me it smells like honey and... dust. Not a fragrance for everyone, and probably not a safe blind buy, but for me it was a love from the first sniff. I'm really glad that I gave it a chance. Very good longevity BTW, lasts on me 10-12 hours

Similar to honey aoud in my opinion, but has less of the oud and leather than the original. Otherwise seems quite sweet and pleasant to me.

Honeyed Fantasy has a promising composition with notes that I adore, especially the cinnamon and honey top notes, which is what initially drew me to it. However, upon first spray, it presents a rather camphorous quality that’s unexpected and somewhat off-putting. While it does eventually dry down into a soft, powdery fragrance, it still holds on to this subtle hint of menthol or an ointmentfor joint pain. The opening is a bit overwhelming. I wonder what note is pulling as camphor or moth balls. This is a fragrance with great potential, but the initial camphorous blast might makes it challenging to wear. I'll let it sit for a bit and come back around to it in 2 weeks or so. I hope it changes for the better.

I received a sample of this with another order and was excited to see as I enjoy a lot of Paris Corners other fragrances. However, this one I do not find to my taste. It’s a very heavy fragrance that reminds me of perfumes my grandma would wear. I agree with the notes but like other reviewers have commented there is a strange menthol/tiger balm smell - to me it smells like the dentist office if that makes sense to anyone else! I put one spritz on my hand and have thoroughly washed my hands several times, yet can still smell so if you do enjoy the scent then you should be pleased with the longevity. Unfortunately not one for me!

Agree with the other reviews that there is an astringent aromatic quality coming through in a strong way, somewhere on the spectrum between piercing spearmint and medicinal cardamom. Behind that I get leather, like a new handbag. No doubt my bottle needs to sit and develop. Hopefully in the coming weeks it will come together!
