Pretty Boy

Light, airy and clean. First spray is pungent from the aldehydic note. Once warmed, it became more of a clean skin scent due to the musk woven with the light lily and lychee notes. It is not a strong rose scent, which for me is perfect as, generally, I do not like rose. The cedar and pink pepper bring a lovely earthiness which pull it away from being too feminine. My boyfriend wears it also. He finds it an earthy scent, akin to something you may find at Aesop.

Undoubtedly Lazy Sunday Morning-adjacent. I loved Replica’s LSM and noticed Pretty Boy shared a lot of the same notes. Whereas LSM leaned in on the rose and white musk, Pretty Boy leans in on (what I think) is the muguet and lychee. It’s fruity and fresh with the aldehydes, rather than fruity and sticky. There’s something of the warm dryness of the cedar in the back too. Very daytime, very white cotton shirt, very genderless, very likable. Perhaps I’m boy-crazy, but Fuck Boy & Pretty Boy are a few of my favorites. I think there’s so many fun and different ways to interpret “male” identities through scent. We’ve been served countless iterations of the same blue, sporty fragrances that are all male-specific, and it’s like... who is that really resonating with? I love a fantasy, but the guys in my life are not David Gandy. They don’t summer in the Mediterranean. Their body fat percentage is not sub 8%. While there’s a place for that in the market, I’m glad to see other fun options.

very similar to lelabo baie rose. pink pepper note is well done although a bit dusty to my nose. the dry down is powdery like ex nihilo santal calling. not bad overall.

Smells like a more masculine glossier you. Opening is very peppery. Clean girl aesthetic but make it for a boy
