I got a remaining 10 ml of this from an acquaintance's bottle that he didn't want. All i can say is that this is a sandalwood bomb to me, Im struggling to detect anything other notes, at least up close. Even though this was a gift, I've had this same experience with several recent blind buys in my collection. I'm convinced now that although pleasant - for my sensitivity - sandalwood is one of those notes that will take over a fragrance, and evokes mature north-of-60 yrs-old woman vibes (sorry mature ladies if you're reading my review) if its not blended in the right proportions. Note to self: no more blind buys if sandalwood is included as a note.

This is a very mild fragrance so I'm surprised it would make someone dizzy. Of course, it depends upon how much you spray. Anyway, it strikes me as a mild ambery fragrance, with some spice and perhaps fruit. If there is wood, patchouli, or lavender, it's as mild as it can possibly be. The biggest complaint, for me, is that it is nondescript. I prefer fragrances like Jaccomo for Men ("Silver"), because it has some "legibility," including a nice coffee note. It seems like some Samba fragrances for men are geared to pre-teens, while others are for those in their 20s. I wish they would make this clear, because I've sampled half a dozen and they really vary quite a bit. What is their goal? These bottles look like dog toys! I wish they would just produce some experimental fragrances, because Adidas and other companies are good at the teen and pre-teen stuff.
