Definitely a 90's suited young man scent. A UNharsh zest of an unpinned citrus flavour with some white florals and woods. It's rare that citrus is appealing to me in fragrances, it requires modest attention and a fine blend with something that wont clash or give a harsh or sour blast. Not harsh or generic, not cheap or alcoholic, not needlessly expensive, not too much of any single factor at all. Lasting power seems decent, sillage normal, projection average, overall it's worth the price for a casual or office scent.

Citrus and soap, that is what I get from it. It seems outdated when you consider that it was released in 2007. It's lasting power is decent, it's projecting average, and it's extremely cheap. ($15 for 8oz at Perfumania) It's more of a late 20's serious man scent which is why it just didn't blend well with me or my lifestyle. It would be better suited for dad as a last minute gift.

Just grabbed a 1.7oz bottle from 2009 only $7 and for being released in 2007 this sure has a late 70's early 80's vibe to it. Orange and musk, I like it! Update: With four sprays I got about 6-7hrs with 3hrs of arms length projection and 3-4hrs skin scent. I can still faintly smell it on my t-shirt this morning, so I would recommend six sprays for a good 8-10 hours of longevity.

Another blind buy and lost one from my old collection. It is reminiscent of a hair salon; buy it if you enjoy the smell of waiting for your haircut at your local Great Clips.

This review is for Pierre Cardin Musk (1987), which is in a similar bottle that is all black. I recently obtained a vintage spray bottle of it. My first thought was that it smells like Samba Kiss for Men. There is a strong anise type quality and lavender is clearly blended in there. It has more of a mossy/leathery quality than the Samba, which is sweeter and lacks intriguing base notes, from what I remember of it. There is some sort of vanilla/amber aspect to Musk, but it's not too strong. And it's not any muskier than typical men's fragrances of that period. Over time it becomes slightly powdery, but it's mostly a linear fragrance. It's solid all around but certainly more for casual occasions (and in cooler weather). I wonder if Pub Cologne was the first fragrance of this type (that one is from the 1960s).
