Very clean, fresh and fruity. A low priced, pleasant Pierre Cardin smell. Better than the fragrances of arrogant and expensive brands. Very nice, it has a different aroma. The smell of a modest and handsome man. I like to wear it in spring and summer. My sister loves it. Longevity and sillage is a bit weak.

Very good and affordable clean fresh scent. first minute is a bit too alcoholic but after that the scent is amazing. performance are not great tho.

Pierre Cardin pour Homme by Pierre Cardin created by the nose Benoist Lapouza creator of 2040 Nectar Tonka by Courrèges and many commercial fragrances from Fendi and many other brands. Masculine fragrance with a rich olfactory pyramid: opens on citrus, sour notes of bergamot and fruity notes of ripe, dominant melon, in accordance with the acidic notes of pineapple. The heart has a very marked prevalence of lavender, surrounded by warm and comforting amber, boises and sweet notes that on the dry down become enveloping and talc with the magical complicity of vanilla and Tonka bean. Pleasant and economical fragrance. Hot sillage boises. Modest duration.

UPDATE: leaving the aired bottle sit for nine months has helped. It's now a bit more lively. --- Old review: Not generic but definitely not a standout. What it is, is very safe. Inoffensive. Quiet. You really can't lose for the cheap price. In short, it's another Dyatlov frag: it's not great but it's not terrible.

It's good but I'm now convinced that it's essentially Pierre Cardin Sportif (1996) tweaked, rebottled, and renamed. Side by side, it's not easy telling them apart.

The dry down reminds me of Versace blue jeans.

I don't know that I've ever rated a fragrance here as a "hate," but there is no other way to put it. I tried this twice and knew I had to get rid of it immediately. Could probably be used to repel bugs, and humans. Don't get this for any price.

Pierre Cardin Pour Homme is a fresh, crisp, clean scent. Not a great fragrance nor a bad one. It doesn't smell particularly sophisticated or unique, nor obviously cheap or synthetic. It is ok for daily use since it's subtle and low-profile enough to suit any setting and any season (more of a spring-summer- early autumn scent though). I don't get the sweet side of the fragrance. I don't get the melon, nor the jasmine, let alone vanilla in the basenotes...What I get is substantially a citrus/lavender/woody scent. Classic but not old-style, it can suit young men too. Projection is moderate, longevity is moderate too. The asymettric bottle is very interesting and actually it looks less kitsch and more stylish than many high-priced frangrances' bottles (think Gucci).

This fine, middle-of-the road, fresh-aromatic 'blue' scent is something of a 'sleeper', comparing favorablely to many sold at a higher price points. Of course, the scent is in no way unique. I magine a scent halfway between Acqua di Gio and Bleu de Chanel, ...but with a more pronounced note of vanilla. This added vanilla is PCPH's greatest distinguishment and I'm surprised it isn't listed more prominently in the note pyramid. Maybe some users identify the note as sandalwood instead, but it seems to me too strongly vanillin-based for that. I also appreciate the elegant modernity of the glass bottle's terraced waves.

I got this cologne from one of my best girlfriends. In the beginning I wore it occasionally, but I was not that impressed. But as time goes by, and many other colognes passes my nose, this one became more important to me. I wear it with great pleasure now, and when it is finished I would like to have a new bottle. A+!

I highly recommend Pierre Cardin Pour Homme! This amazing fragrance combines notes of melon, pineapple, vanilla, and woods to create a beautiful scent. Despite being priced at only $6 for 1.7oz, it's not a cheap fragrance. I encourage you to try out this wonderful scent.

I paid $5. This is comparable to chrome azzaro and azzaro wanted tonic, this is inbetween those two fragrances, amazing price, amazing looking bottle, blind buy all day
