Neroli ad Astra 19.1

Neroli Ad Astra is a sparkling and sophisticated freshie - like the ultimate clean girl all grown up. It’s the scent you might wear on a blindingly hot day and feel like you’re the breath of fresh air. It is one of my go-to fragrances for the summer when I just want to smell fresh and put-together. The sleeper agent in this blend is the geranium which amplifies a citrus zing, takes the edge off of the jasmine, and blends so smoothly with the neroli. There is a starchy clean base in the dry down, and though it has ingredients of some skin scents, I would consider this more of a floral freshie. There is very little sweetness to it and leans a tad green/sharp at first spray. Unlike other freshies, the notes smell authentic and do not give me synthetic ingredient vibes. This is like the refined older sister of Creed Virgin Island Water or even Liis Studied, though Ad Astra is definitely more white floral-powered. It is also ridiculously well priced for such an authentic smelling, long lasting fragrance. This is a perfume that is super underrated and under the radar in my opinion. If you want to smell summery fresh and clean but unlike anyone else, this might be it for you.

fresh, luminous, green, clean, white flowers, citrousy, slightly fruity, cosy musk in the drydown, complex instant delight, summer in a bottle, uplifting - not quite ad astra, to the stars, but to a sunny spot overlooking the french riviera perfectly unisex but might be more to the taste of women the fragrance notes here seem to be incomplete, I smelled more notes - as did BloomPerfume - so I checked and here is what I found: Top Notes Pear, Mandarine, Pink pepper Heart Notes Agave, Neroli, Geranium Base notes Vetiver, Jasmine, Musk

The notes here are not accurate. The fragrance opens with bright neroli and a juicy pear. Agave gives it a bit more aquatic, tropical and juicy/wet feel. The heart is mainly about jasmine but the clean French type. In the dry down musk and a bit of Vetiver. I really like this. It is really different from most neroli based perfumes, which tend to be sharp-green (and which I also love). This is soft and bright and sparkly without any screechy edges.

A wonderful ethereal, delicate and luminous perfume. I love it, it is so beautiful, it is a particular perfume, and on summer days it is as if an intoxicating and delicate wind blows. It's like looking at the stars, with an ethereal trail that wraps around you... it's beautiful. Sillage: 6./10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Scent: 9.5/10 Overall: 9.5/10

PG19.1 Neroli ad Astra is a musky citrus formula with a green woody background. It starts with a soft clean mix of mandarin, neroli and geranium and gradually descends to dry powdery spiciness of Haiti vetiver and an exotic note of desert agave flower.

Fresh, citrusy neroli with a "wet" feeling. The agave adds an interesting green note, unlike anything I've smelled before, very unique. Would love to buy a small bottle for next spring/summer.

This is a wonderful citrusy, clean, linen-y, fresh out of the dryer smell. It smells like a batch of expensive clothes taken out of a rich person's laundry machine, having been cleaned by the most expensive, high-end detergent you have or will ever see. But not in a snooty "rich" way, it's genuinely just really, really, REALLY nice detergent that you will never be able to afford in your lifetime. Love it. Will have to update once I've given it a full day or two of wear, as these are just my first impressions from a sample I got a couple months ago. Cheers!

Clean, fresh, and airy. Hyper floral, and despite the name, quite jasmine-forward. It registers to my nose as a "shampoo" scent, but not in a negative way. When people around you catch whiffs of it, they will get the impression that you are a clean and put-together person who uses very expensive and luxurious shampoo. This can easily be a summer staple, and naturally it works well on hair and clothes to get around any longevity issues.

Lovely- especially in hot weather- but with the all-too- frequent PG longevity collapse. The agave and opopanax (? I guess?) give it an unusually dry and papery edge at first, and it's gorgeously nuanced and green too. Never Cloys or gets over sweet - just great organic-seeming freshness. What a shame it's all wafted away within 3h on me. I'd say true unisex and worth a try for any neroli lover though.

From official website: 'Neroli, Agave flower, Pear, Mandarin, Jasmine, Geranium, Musk' Very jasmine forward, in fact I would say this is more of a jasmine scent with the addition of neroli. I don't get any pear and just a whiff of agave. The overall combo though is very elegant and aromatic. Average performance.

Super floral Super orange blossom to my nose

Composition: Pear, Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Neroli from Morocco, Agave Flower Accord from Mexico, Geranium, Vetiver from Haiti, Jasmine Absolute from Egypt, Musks A perfume that I would have expected differently from the olfactory pyramid, a different, more sunny neroli, but instead I find it more muffled and soapy, it will be the agave flower, or the jasmine or maybe both most likely, but the result is the one described above ago, a decidedly subdued neroli that is absolutely not among my favourites, I have others that I love and that more closely reflect my tastes. If you want to try a different composition from the usual neroli perfumes, you can look at this perfume otherwise if you are looking for a perfume focused on neroli I recommend something else, for example Neroli a la Cardamome du Guatemala by Chopard that is a realistic, well-made neroli and certainly more enjoyable

Neroli Ad Astra by Pierre Guillaume is a galactic striptease performed by a dazzling spectacle of radiant holographic beings. The opening is a burst of effervescent pear, the fruity flamboyant fizz of a champagne fountain in zero gravity. Showstopping neroli swoops in, opulent, heady with a teasing coolness, like a sheen of ice crystals on silvery spacesuit pasties reflecting the glitter and glare of a distant sun. There's a green velvet gloved graze of herbaceous, rose-tinged geranium, a coy peep at jasmine’s rich floral sweetness, and the low cosmic hum of a soft, deep musk, anchoring the fragrance even as it reaches for the stars, a celestial burlesque performance amongst the glimmering expanse of forever.

Gorgeous. The notes listed here don't feel exactly right. There's a beautiful clean floral note like lily of the valley mixed with bergamot and agave syrup. A little musky on the drydown and a the agave lends a little sour, earthiness - similar to honey This is a really beautiful high-frequency citrus floral. It smells expensive and clean.

This is a really nice Neroli, or at least the kind I like. Very gentle, summery, ethereal, accompanied by fruity and juicy notes surrounded by floral notes. The bitter taste of neroli is not overwhelming, it is really pleasant and very versatile, for any time of the day and season.
