Perfect Gentleman

I brought Perfect Gentleman for my son and of course, I had to test it for myself. I was pleasantly surprised by this powdery, woody and fresh scent. I didn't overspray just once on each wrist, I think more might be overpowering. I smell lavender, orange, vanilla and nutmeg. A very nice combination. Rating 8/10.

Pino Silvestre Perfect Gentlemen.... what i find very interesting about this fragrance is that it has no citrus opening despite containing lemon. Pepper, saffron, nutmeg, iris and heliotrope from the get go make it a creamy spicy scent. It is quite linear and stays creamy, spicy and powdery until the tonka and woody notes take over. It is a warm and cozy scent and lasts quite long. No freshness and fruity sweetness here. Very nice fragrance.

Surprised on how others have said there isn't much fruit or freshness but woody spicy. I'd say its the opposite. This reminds me heavily of One Man Show Ruby Edition minus the cherry. Woody and Spicy isn't an image this fragrance invokes to me at all. Unmistakable top notes of a sweet/tart Green and Red Apple, with a little brightness of Lemon. A looming note of a muddled vanilla and tonka bean throughout, creamy rather than a pronounced scent. A little Herbaceous, more like a soft sweet basil than patchouli or nutmeg, not strong at all. The Floral and Wood are closely intertwined in this such as Iris and Magnolia for the floral and Acacia for the wood (I think these also contribute the "musk" because there isn't anything else musky). They are subtle and smooth creating what I'd say is a modern scent, much less spicy or woody than older fragrances yet still inspired by some older ideas and works well but I don't feel exceeds above being a 6. Personally I don't very much care for the sweeter scents and I feel that this one while pretty sweet, is perfectly acceptable. Maybe someone younger would enjoy this or a pleasant scent to wear around the office in the warmer months. It is a fine Fragrance with good projection and if found at a good price, I'd say $20 would be a great value while for $30 I'd say there are probably better options, or just pay a little more for something nicer. Not my cup of tea so I couldn't recommend, but it's not bad!
