Veil

Softness. Gossamer. Subtle sweetness. VEIL is a delightfully delicate scent. I smell pale white flowers, the tiniest hint of fruit, and soft musks. This reminds me of Glossier You, but chique and sophisticated. I can see myself wearing this every day, either on its own or layered with other fragrances. What stands out to me about VEIL is the texture of the scent. There is a softness and sheerness that maintains throughout, and I am reminded of a cashmere shawl I use in winter. It is lovely.

I'm not usually a fan of powdery scents, but Veil in the extreme exception. It's delicately sweet, the musk note plays so well with the others, and you can really pick out each note as it dries down. To date this is my favorite pear scent, it feels romantic and intimate and soft. (10/10)

I got a free 10 mL bottle of this with my order of the 50 mL of Arid. Veil is interesting for me as I would say it definitely leans more feminine, but when it starts to dry down it becomes a great powdery/musky scent to layer with something that might be a little too spicy. Additionally, it's a great scent to throw on just out of the shower because of how clean it smells. The musky-ness of it also adds to the intimacy of this scent though. This is one of those scents you wear when you don't want/need to make a statement, but still want to smell nice. I highly recommend for anyone who would like to add a nice musky/powdery scent to their collection, and also a safe scent to buy for anyone who just has one bottle as a time. This is an extremely diverse and soft scent that could be a great addition for an avid collector or a gift for someone who goes bottle to bottle.

This one can change based on the day/chemistry! First time I wore it, I was a bit sharp at first (champagne and ink) and then mellowed into a beautifully sweet musk skin scent. Second time I didn’t get the sharpness and the dry down was not as addictive. The next few times it was too powdery and didn’t enjoy that. Strange! Will try again for sure. I did really like it the first couple of times.

Fresh and comfortable, lightly fruity but not sweet. Fades close to skin scent, but with a little extra. Veil is an apt name as it doesn't smoother, it of floats gently. Feminine side of unisex, more of a daytime scent.
