Sleepy Ghost

this smells like honeyed warm milk before bed and feeling safe under the blankets. ive honestly loved every poesie scent i chose and tested so far from my custom discovery set, but unfortunately they've been having short longevity :( i never was one to apply perfume after showering before bed but that is probably gonna be exclusively what i use this for lol its so comforting :') i find it hard to find lavender-centric scents that dont smell like a bottle of bleach and this is definitely good on that front!!

sleepy ghost is so dreamy and puts me right to sleep. it is such a beautiful lavender and sweetened marshmallow scent. the first time i tried this, i fell in love. in my opinion, it is a slightly better version of twilight by lush. it is so calming and relaxing. i put a little bit on my wrists and neck after a warm shower and it helps me get to sleep so much quicker! i absolutely love this scent for bedtime and it will be my go-to on those relaxing self-care nights. thanks again poesie.

I have been loyally using up my sample of Sleepy Ghost for days now and I am absolutely in love. There's no chemical smell here - it's pure soft wafts of lavender and a fluffy, pillowy sweetness of the marshmallow. It's so soft, so relaxing. For years I have had one perfume that has been my favorite bedtime scent (SJP Lovely or Lovely You) - this one is now going to give me another option. It'll be a full-size purchase for me!

This is a rainy Sunday evening drinking tea and reading. It gives a bath and silk pajama feel combined with photorealistic lavender. Its a spa-like scent to me with an incense undertone that is sweet and not overpowering. Although it has short longevity (like most Poesie scents) this makes it great for bedtime as it doesn't overwhelm. Gorgeous cooler month scent

Sleepy Ghost is such a beautifully simplistic scent - realistic herbal lavender, tempered by pillowy marshmallows, named aptly, as it is the perfect scent to drift off to dreamland with.

Oh this is so dreamy! A perfect bedtime scent. Exactly as described by the perfumer: aromatic lavender and pillowy marshmallows. A lullaby in scent form.

Soft lavender and is so cozy and sweet

I am such a sucker for lavender, so I had to add this one in my discovery bundle. The lavender in this scent is pretty strong and forward but I wouldn't say i get the marshmellow sweetness. Dont get me wrong, it is a sweet smell, but it reminded me a lot more of lavender syrup (i use at work since im a barista lol!). I wish it was a bit sweeter on the warm side, like a spun sugar from the marshmellow, but it is a lovely lovely scent. It is perfect for when your about to go to bed since it lays pretty close to the skin. It doesnt radiate much but lays softly to sleep on your skin. I believe that was intentional! I do recommend trying!! I hope to get more longetivity out of it after letting it rest for 2 weeks. My review: 8.5/10 Moms review: 6/10

Sleepy Ghost is exactly what it claims to be - sweet marshmallow and lavender. The marshmallow is distinctive to Poesie and instantly recognizable if you’re familiar with their scents. The lavender is strong and wavers between a soft clean floral and a more camphorous herbal note. If you don’t like either of those notes, this isn’t for you. I like both of them, and I like Sleepy Ghost a lot. It’s a nice one for bedtime - sweet, cozy, comforting.

This fragrance reminds me of Sugar Milk Co. Lavender Milk but this is better. This is the scent of light, pillowy, sweetened lavender. Pure marshmallow + lavender essential oil mix. It’s quite lovey and very nice to wear before going to bed or perhaps on a colder day. The marshmallow aspect of the fragrance fluffs up the lavender so it’s not so herbal. It’s dreamy and so nice.

simple: herbal, aromatic lavender with sweet marshmallow. reminds me of secret boyfriend which i think is better. can't really smell it on myself, no matter how much i douse myself in it :(

Blind bought this, hoping for a perfect sleepy time fragrance but all I got was a headache. So funny because the sample they sent me, can’t remember but it had chai tea notes and pistachio maybe in it? The sample was AMAZING. but this particular fragrance smells like...I don’t even know. It smells sweet but nothing distinct. The lavender is lost for me, it’s there but not my sleepy time herbal lavender that I wanted. The marshmallow must be the one bringing just pure sweetness, I was comparing it to the marshmallow note from Yum Bougee Marshmallow by Kayali, which is more light and airy. This feels like a heavy sweetness, I do not like this perfume. If anyone wants my sample for a cheap price lmk lol @paliagriffin on ig.

I often find sweet gourmand scents cloying and artificial, and lavender scents overpowering, but this is really wonderful. It feels cozy, innocent, and introverted–like being a child lost in thought, hiding away somewhere dark and cool within a warmly lit home. There's a bit of playfulness there, too. It's a new favorite of mine. However, the scent is overall short lasting and sits super close to the skin. This is a bedtime scent for sure.

This smells exactly like Lavender Vanilla Oil by Solstice Scents. I have both, and have one on each hand. Unfortunately, this one just does not project and it goes away after 5 minutes. The Lavender Vanilla is a much better version of Sleepy Ghost.

Off the rip you get a very powerful lavender scent but it dries down very sweet. The longevity on it is really good for a rollerball. I got the alcohol based edp version so it had really good sillage too.

My absolute favorite way to wear Sleepy Ghost is layered with Ariana Grande's Cloud - so gorgeous. I'm getting so much more wear out of it now.
