Police Legend for Man

When I smelled this one for the first time I was surprised by its smell. Performance is moderate, it's versatile, masculine, cheap, but unfortunately underrated. I recommend this one to everybody. You should grab it for the summer, along with any other fresh and tropical perfume.

Before I start on my review on Police Legend, I have a few question to ask: Why are so many Police fragrances for men compared to Fierce? There is To Be Tattoo Art, The Illusionist, The Icon Platinum and The Sinner currently and I want to say there was another one or two of the To Be line. Are Fierce style fragrances that generic? Anyway, this review is about Police Legend or as it is sold on some websites, Police Legendary Scent. It is another one of these Police fragrances that smell like Fierce. That said, it does actually feel similar to Fierce but does a little bit something different that can make it stand out in the oversaturated Fierce pack. Police Legend gets to Fierce with a different open and unique to the Fierce fragrances I've smelt. And trust me, I've smelt a good number of these over the years as Fierce is a common scent that has been cloned to death. Ed Hardy Skull & Roses, Bath and Body Works Whitewater Rush, Bath and Body Works Teakwood, Montblanc Legend, Playboy New York, Playboy Super Playboy. Most have maybe one thing that stands them out of the pack but this i must say is the most unique. This being an absinthe accord. Absinthe is a boozy accord or sometimes note that comes from the mixture of fennel, anise and wormword. The Absinthe accord is one that caused me to get this cheapie. I read it was close to 212 VIP Black and I must say, I do get some of that. It is lighter than the 212 but I would not expect it to slap more. While Police Legend does have a star anise note (not traditional anise) but I do feel there is a boozy feel in Police Legend. This is along with lavender and pepper notes. Due to the star anise note that is in the mid, Legend has its absinthe note exist into the mid. The base I get a mix of amberwood and leather. Police Legend is a nice mix of 212 VIP Black with the absinthe and leather and a traditional Fierce clone. It lasts about six hours on my skin, but it isn't a beast like 212 VIP Black or vintage Fierce formulations are. That said, I do not believe anyone would think a cheapie like this should or would have beast mode tendencies. I would say you could use it on dates but know, Fierce is a common scent so if you want to really stand out, it may or it may not work out for you, especially if Fierce is still common by you. Police Legend could work for work and causal wearings without a question. It works for all seasons and I think can work day and night. I wouldn't club with it besides maybe summer due to it not being dense like 212 VIP Black is. Overall Police Legend is a good fragrance. Is it the best Fierce fragrance clone, no. It is just fine with a unique spin on it. For this reason, I rate Police Legend a 7. I honestly think Playboy New York's vinyl note, Montblanc Legend's dried fruits and Montblanc Legend Eau de Parfum's mature feel set those apart while Police Legend is just OK in regards to a unique Fierce clone.

This is the usual police release, starts of synthetic and stays that way for half an hour, then it starts to smell oki, this one actually was quite nice with a fresh and soft spicyness to it and i have no problem recommending it to guys that want a good cheapie.

I am sorry, I really wanted to like This perfume but It smells kinda generic. Maybe in 2017 It was considered As a Unique Fragrance. Who knows...I am going to give It to my stepfather. He loves This Brand. :-)
