To Be My.Avatar for Woman

I am a grown-@ss woman with kids and I have been pleasantly surprised by My.Avatar. I bought it impulsively as it was love at first whiff. I have nicknamed it Gomu Gomu (after the Devil Fruit in the anime series One Piece that gives people stretchy rubber qualities). The iridescent round bottle reminds me of the Gum Gum fruit in the cartoon, and I imagine the juice is what that particular fruit smells like, too. Much like the show One Piece, this smell is bright, colourful, happy and sweet.... But with a dark and undeniably grown-up edge to it. The mango (usually sickly and sweaty on my skin) is balanced by the other deeper notes to make an interesting woody accord that I just can’t stop sniffing. I wore this last night to watch The Goonies with my husband and children. The scent created a perfect pirate ambiance in the small scent-bubble of my couch. This will be my go-to fragrance for weekend days where I take my kids to art classes (so most weekends!). It is playful and fun, but not out of place on a mature mum. I will also wear it to Manga shows and other comics conventions. It will be the ideal olfactory accessory for my Monkey D. Luffy costume.

It’s definitely a perfect fragrance for summer! The scent and the bottle both fit the cyber theme really well. Since it’s currently summer, I’ve been enjoying wearing this perfume a lot. It has a very tropical and fruity scent, but I do want to point out that I don’t consider it a light fragrance—it’s actually quite strong. Whenever I wear it, people around me often tell me they can keep smelling it throughout the day. It’s not the most unique fragrance out there, but it smells really good. For its price, the performance is excellent. It even stays on my clothes until they’re washed

This is a very interesting scent. Very smooth and cooling, but too strong to be a "freshie". The amount of musk in the notes looks scary, and it IS a very powerful scent, and more mature. I get the mango very well, and the sugar in the base keeps it sweet throughout. It's depth makes it suitable for night time, I believe, and probably a spring or summer night due to the fruitiness.

The Police - To Be My Avatar is a fragrance that smells like your life is finally together... even if your laundry pile says otherwise. It opens like a heroic domestic achievement: fresh, clean linen straight out of the washer. Not just “I did laundry,” but *I folded it immediately* energy. There’s a soft musk underneath, like a warm hug from someone who actually remembers to use fabric softener, and a little citrus sparkle that whispers, “new beginnings” (or at least “new socks”). Then, five minutes in... plot twist. Out of nowhere, a mango arrives. Not just any mango — a sweet, juicy, slightly dramatic mango sorbet. It’s like you were responsibly doing chores, and suddenly you’re on a sunny vacation you didn’t budget for. The powdery note wraps around it like a nostalgic filter, turning the whole moment into something weirdly sentimental — like childhood summers, sticky fingers, and not having to worry about emails or taxes from your day job. The whole scent feels like this story: You start your day being productive, smelling like freshly washed sheets and good decisions... and then life gently taps you on the shoulder and says, “Hey, remember joy?” And suddenly you're laughing, eating imaginary mango sorbet in the middle of your clean apartment, wondering why happiness smells like laundry and fruit. It’s comforting, it’s a little chaotic, and somehow... it's still hits you like mediocrity. Because the scent disappears after an hour or two.

I blind-bought this because of a Facebook ad, lol. It smells like a fresher soapy version of Rabanne Fame. Mass appealing scent that suits most ages. Sometimes it's good to have a go-to scent that isn't so advanced. I will happily use it up. Longevity is around 2 hours if I overspray. It's great advertising, though, but a hideous, cheap-looking bottle.

Sugar Clearwood Airy Cool Seductive Careless Addictive This is a nice one if you have a cold, to get relaxed and healthy again Unoffensive

At the opening for a couple of minutes it smells like a sour candy which was so weird for me and interesting at the same time. And as the time goes this fragrance changes a lot. The mango keeps it fresh for an hour but as it fades away the sugar gets more and more dominant but the musk stays there the whole time. For me it is a very basic but versatile female fragrance and I can imagine this smell for younger generations especially below 25.

I got a pricey small bottle, a shimmering little skull, similar to Police To Be Rose Blossom's bottle, but a dark green-purple iridescent. A complex, weird non-linear scent. It has elements from Fame but Fame is lighter not leathery and spicy as this. It has the minty leathery osmanthus of Good Girl gone bad Extreme by Kilian amplified here by the lemon-sugar. It shares some elements with Police To Be Good Vibes only not as sour, with a softer amber-leather-patch-spicy base- and some from VS Eau So Party's warm contrasting sugared lime, but not as a sharp here. Lasting power is not too good. Mango-mandarin juicy sweetness at first. Milky, woody, leathery from the osmanthus right away paired with the fruits - impressive opening, syrupy thick fruity, not juvenile, but which does not last more than 10 mins. This fruity sweetness is fleeting and briefly gives a Fame by Rabanne impression with the To Be Good Vibes leathery feel, but the rest of the perfume is not fruity and fun, just intensely leathery woody soft floral, with mango-lemon sweet-tartness paired with the clearwood's spice. It's also oddly ozonic-aquatic on me in a jarring way, with a peppery darker patch spice from the clearwood that is amplified later on by the lotus and which I kinda dislike. Its clearwood earthy spice is basically its projection after 2 hrs along with a deep woody sweet musky scent. If the opening lasted longer as part of the drydown and it it didn't have the patch spice, it would be an amazing perfume. The lemon-mango become more subtle. The leathery osmanthus-lemon minty effect transforms into a contrasting lime-sugar scent such as that of VS Eau So Party when the sugar here intensifies in the mid phase and at the drydown, but much softer. I like this part esp since it's accompanied by the woody musky sugared cedar blend. It also retains some soft mango sweetness similar to peach reminiscent of Fame at times, but not as bright and juicy as Fame sadly. The soft peppery element from the Clearwood's patchouli earthy tones, appears quickly right before the drydown; it adds a weird peppery spice to the aquatic lotus and the leathery osmanthus-lemon minty effect. The lotus doesn't fit the vibe and it seems to amplify the peppery patchouli spice, just like aldehydes amplify and render ozonic a ginger spice in perfumes - see JPG Classique Essence De Parfum. The patch spice makes the scent more mature later into the drydown and similar to Good Vibes' patchouli spice. The osmanthus becomes even more leathery, ambery also from the sugar, less milky. So the apricot-like sweetness of the osmanthus replaces the intensely sweet and rich mango mandarin fruitiness of the opening. The whole fragrance eventually transforms into a soft osmanthus, with subtle mango-lemon, peppery and minty, with hints of the sugared lemon like lime, till the minty scent is replaced by the sugared lime impression. All of that is paired with the leathery musky-waxy vein, still slightly aquatic on a warm woody base. The patchouli-spice, the sugared amber-y musk and the soft leather nuances always remind me of To Be Good Vibes' personality. Osmanthus is a milky woody leathery floral note. It is almost smoky here at first in the opening along with its leather nuance. This amber-like musky, leather scent is reminiscent of the ambrarome in To Be Good Vibes, but here it's more woody and less ambery. Ambrarome is a musk-amber leathery note. Good Vibes also has more intense patchouli along with the ambrarome. Ambrarome is much heavier almost like tar or burnt tires. Good Vibes is a lot sweeter by the vanilla, more amber-heavy, smoky-leathery and more floral, also salty-sour with the pear similar to La Belle and BBW Pink Obsessed which is lighter. To Be My Avatar is less girly, more animalic musky and fresh-aquatic. If you like weird deep woody leather scents go for it, but it's constantly changing on me and wears close to the skin. I personally like weirdos so I like this.
