Fiery Passion

Ok. This is not really fiery at all. It is pure strawberry. The Pez candy kind of strawberry though. Or the Strawberry Shortcake kind of strawberry. I struggle to find anything else about it than those 2 things. This is not a bad thing at all, because this perfume is so unique. All of the 4 Portals are. They truly bring you to fantasy worlds because of how different they are than any other perfumes out there. I can't stress enough the uniqueness of these 4 perfumes. And they all smell truly wonderful. In my other review I called them transportative magic. They really are.

fiery passion is a burst of strawberry candy. i think melanie was trying to create something "cry baby" inspired with this one, but without the milk or creaminess. i will add it's a little artificial smelling, just a fair warning. there's something very nostalgic about fiery passion and i've realized it smells just like a jar of strawberry lipgloss by wet n wild from the 90's! i was only a kid at the time but i remember sneaking into my sisters' room and putting some on lol! definitely my most favorite of this collection.

the opening is woody, floral and sweet! the strawberry is definitely on the sweeter side. i was worried initially about it being too artificial but it wasn’t at all! the woods definitely help balance it out 💕 after sitting on the skin for a while the vanilla and musk transform this into a soft candied strawberry scent! projection is pretty strong in my opinion, and i got about 6 hours wear before it turned into a sweet skin scent it’s recommended for summer.. maybe summer nights? ❤️🔥 can’t wait for the full size 🍓 10/10

Wow wow, at first spray we get Strawberry it’s like a candy shop when you open the door and you get a whiff of a strawberry sweet scent. This is also mega strong and very long lasting the strawberry note settles down and it’s still sweet but not sickly sweet. I absolutely love it I have all 3 and I would definitely buy them again and I would get the green version too (maybe)

It's very sweet so if you are sensitive I would avoid. This is an artificial strawberry like a candy or drink mix (maybe makeup) with this fresh and powdery peony. I like it but I feel like this can be recreated/replicated in a body mist if it hasn't already (like a B&BW mist). Would only recommend to those that like melanie martinez.

Ok...where to begin. I personally love this scent because it's so feminine and sweet smelling but I can 100% see all of the criticisms about this scent. It definitely smells like artificial sugary candy but I'm a fan of that. It also kinda reminds me of the dentist, like the laughing gas smell but that just might be me.

Well, like everything of Melanie Martinez, this perfume drove me Crazy It smells very good like a Candy Made of Strawberry With a Little bit of wood It doesn’t smells Very Much Like Strawberry

Such a beautiful candied strawberry fragrance!! 💖🍓 To me it’s a perfect scent reminiscent of strawberry laces or a strawberry chupa chups lollipop!! It’s VERY sweet in an artificial candy syrupy way and I LOVE that about this fragrance! I do see why some people would view this fragrance as nauseating from this though, but to me I don’t get that at all (maybe that’s just because I’m a sucker for the SWEETEST gourmands ever though 😭💕). It’s definitely not a perfume I’d wear every day though as it is very overpowering and strong, but it really does feel like such a lovely and special treat to use every now and then! I bought mine second hand for a really good price and personally would LOVE to own the large version of this fragrance since I do really love it and the bottle is just absolutely GORGEOUS but with living in the UK I really can’t justify spending SO much on a single perfume which will just end up having huge import fees added on afterwards too... Overall though I do really love this perfume and I think that if you like a good hyperrealistic candy strawberry, this is a really amazing perfume for you!! 🍭

It is pretty sweet but the woody notes are also prominent. It smells like a strawberry candy that is attempting to smell like real strawberries (not artificial ones) was dragged in fresh cut grass, mud, and wood. Then, rinsed off in a bit of water. It is like a natural woody/floral take on an artificial strawberry scent. Definitely one to get used to. Not for everyone.

So on first impressions this is a very very close second to the Water of Intuition fragrance. This fragrance is a lovely fruity fragrance with the right blend of vanilla woody notes in the background ! If I could only pick 2 out of the 4 fragrances to keep this is 100% being kept ! So far this gets a 6.5/10 from me.

I was trying to pinpoint the scent because it had a very nostalgic vibe but I think I got it. It smells like starburst from a distance and then when you actually lean in and smell it it has a strong woody and almost smoky scent. Not really an everyday wear because of how sweet it is, but a very interesting scent.

A disclaimer: I am reviewing the MIIM.MIIC dupes for these perfumes. My 2nd favorite in the collection. A subtle wood and juicy, sweet strawberry. Not too sweet, but it's walking the line. There is a sort of subtle smokiness in there that balances it out. I think this is a fun one for days out and casual dates.

Smells like a strawberry Lipsmacker or like a teen strawberry lipgloss from the early 2000’s. Pleasant but nothing special.

incredibly sweet, very fruity, it smells like candy

i was really hoping to like this cause strawberry scents are my fav but theres definitely a musky scent and in my opinion it almost overpowers everything else, like i can still smell the strawberry but it isnt as sweet as i'd like it to be (and usually i have a problem with sweet perfumes giving me a headache but this one is the complete opposite like a sour scent?) after a while the musk goes away and i think it is wearable but maybe not on the skin if you dont want a musky artificial strawberry scent and i know the description on the website says its recommended for summer but sweaty skin mixed with this perfume would just smell like b.o. and rotten strawberries 😭 i'll have to test this perfume with layering and maybe spraying it on clothes only instead of my skin because i wanna like it so bad!! but as of now wearing it on my wrist for 2 hours it is notttt worth it (also i got this because of the free valentines day sale.. im so glad it was free cause if i had spent 60 ish dollars on this i'd be so disappointed)

Opening: 80% dirty socks, sweaty armpits, hot dog water and 20% strawberry gummies. Dry down: 85% photorealistic sour strawberry candies 15%vanilla and peony They need to fix the top notes of this fragrance, coz omg I had the biggest jumpscare smelling it at first. Smells like a strawberry bon bon candy. Except add in an artificial factor and you’ve got it. There’s certainly a smokiness/spice to it..almost like cinnamon? Can’t pin point it exactly, but I have to say as much as I’ve been looking to getting all four vials from this collection (so far I have 2/4), I’m disappointed with this one.

There's a smell within this that i cannot place that makes me gag a little when first sprayed, it smells kind of off but when it dries down it fades. A very sickly sweet artificial strawberry smell is left. Not my favourite by any means but it isn't the worst, i just don't think it matches my skin chemistry very well.

Mixed feelings. I always get so dizzy right after spraying because of how strong and artificial this smell is. It also smells like soap A LOT for a while. Blends into a nice but very very very weak sugary vanilla after some time. I can't understand why this is the fans favorite but opinion is opinion right.

While I usually like very sweet scents, this perfume leaned heavily synthetic with an effect as if you huffed a latex balloon. I had to stop wearing it as it wasn't very pleasant. Didn't really fit what I had hoped for i, especially at its price point.

I really really hate to say this but this smells like suave strawberry shampoo. This is just okay... I am wondering if all 4 of these perfumes are meant to be mixed with each other to create one complex perfume because all 4 are very simple.

the opening to this is genuinely SO bad. sour pez strawberry candy and sweaty feet. very, very nasty. spraying this in public is probably such a good people repellent. the dry down is slightly like starburst like someone else said. starburst, sour strawberry drink mix, woods, smoke, and peonies. kind of a weird scent. also gave me a headache lol

In the beginning it smells exactly like a vape and artificial strawberry syrup. It's almost sour, kinda like those nauseating Chupa Chips

In the beginning, it smells just like spoiled strawberry milk, then it kinda fades out, but it's extremely sour even when layered with other products. This perfume doesn't layer well and negatively overpowers everything.

I think a lot of people are saying this is overpriced because they bought the collectors edition, and didn’t wait until the actual bottles came out for way cheaper. They’re saying this perfume is too expensive but ignoring the fact that it came with an entire collectors item and packaging, and three other additional perfumes. So I don’t believe “overpriced” is accurate. As for the smell, it smells somewhat smoky to me. It smells like berries and sort of like By The Fireplace by Maison Margiela. Just not as strong of smoke. It says there’s a wood note, which is somewhat accurate but I’d say it smells more like burning wood. I definitely get a creamy strawberry scent from it at the first smell but then the longer you smell it the smokiness comes in.

I did NOT just spend 300 on the statue just for 3/4 scents to smell like badussy... there is SO LITTLE perfume in the bottle, but to be fair one spray lasts forever. At first spray, it is cloyingly sweet, like those grandma strawberry candies. I also get a hint of banana?? It’s not even a pleasant candy strawberry because it has this “spicyness” to it making it kind of smell like plastic and pepper, which I think is the musk and wood speaking. It kind of smells like feet. The individual bottles are made of cheap plastic, making it look like a children’s toy. PLEASE PLEASE DONT BUY THIS IT IS NOT WORTH $50 DOLLARS FOR A DROP OF PERFUME THAT SMELLS LIKE ARTIFICIAL STRAWBERRY FEET LOVE YOU MELANIE BUT NO

Very similar to Michel Germain Sugarful, it’s the same vein of “melted strawberry” lollipop and cotton candy with a sensual woody base. It’s a naughty overkill strawberry but the good thing is a little goes a long way(I bought the pendant oil in the two for one promotional deal) and I love this in small doses and mixed with waters of intuition.

Very sweet and juicy. On first impression, I got green apple jolly ranchers but as it wore on the skin it turned very powdery and like warm sugar. What's meant to be the strawberry aspect translates more appley to me still. Overall very girly and fun. Smells like a more complex version of sugarful by Michel Germain to me.

Really just smells like bbw strawberry pound cake and a splash of burberry her... so synthetic. Got samples of the collection and hopefully the others are better because this one really has me wondering what the huge hype was about these fragrances.

Nostalgic strawberry with a juicy modern twist. It also has cotton candy soap vibes. Very simple cute minimalist. Cute alone or as a topper. Not everything has to be intense, complex and rich; people are never satisfied. It’s a cute perfume.
