Green Tea

I really love this fragrance. It’s a clean, uplifting, happy citrus/tea/floral combo that just puts me in a good mood! The florals are very reminiscent of Ormonde Jayne’s Levant which imo is a good thing. Just a question of if you prefer something more floral-centric (Levant) or something that opens brighter with a squeeze of citrus. I can’t speak to the Valaya comparison but I don’t find this “screechy” at all which I see is a common complaint. In fact this is so smooth that I sometimes like to wear it to bed. It’s not exactly relaxing but it just evokes a sense of content! Finally I really just love that this house does 30ml bottles. As someone who enjoys variety I love that option!

Such a crisp arresting green tea is first but after a while morphs into jasmine and takes center stage. If the crisp green tea stayed strong, I would say unisex for sure. It is a very accurate, photogenic jasmine scent. Like the actual plant and not the western idea of jasmine. No sweet notes. But a charming floral. As the pepper comes out, the scent matures. The pepper is faint and slightly builds never outsourcing the jasmine. Adding intrigue. I prefer it that way. Could be an office scent, female leaning. I imagine people in a suit wearing this. Maybe in a bank. Not clubbing.

I collect tea fragrances and I'm a fan of Quentin Bisch so I blind bought the entire Proad Tea collection. I'm still trying them all out, but this one is quite lovely. Definitely jasmine forward. It opens with citrus and green tea. Bright and fresh. Then a sweet dry down that reminds me of Valaya from Parfums de Marly. I'm not mad at that. I enjoy both perfumes. I'm still testing out the longevity. This fragrance is smooth and comforting due to the tea and jasmine notes.

I absolutely love this. I get bright citrus, green tea, and a beautiful muskiness. I drained every drop of my sample and will be purchasing a full bottle. I think this is perfect for spring, summer and into fall.

Nice soothing green tea / jasmine scent. I don't smell the citrus that much, like reallly weak citrus. Not sure why.

Wth, just got a bottle and while the opening is very pretty, the late dry down has that tiring Givaudan DNA, I swear it is so difficult to escape these days. I tested this years ago, and don't remember smelling this. Heck, even the bottle of White Tea that I have that I purchased years ago from Bangkok does not have this dry down. I am willing to bet they secretly reformulated this. So sad, i will keep my bottle for a bit to see if it changes but man, I just can't escape the Givaudan smell.

i really like this! It is a familiar scent in the "quentin bisch" style but this take is nice. It has the DNA of Valaya, but softer/less "sharp" to my nose. To me it's also reminiscent of levant from ormande jayne and parade from celine. the light quality of celine is here in that this is way less potent than levant or valaya, but parade lacks this 'green'-ness that exists nicely in green tea. If you have any or all of the above (like me...), this COULD be a skip but i, personally, prefer this to valaya! it's an easier wear - valaya can overwhelm me.

Quentin Bisch cloning his signature DNA once again for another house. Lazy & disappointing. If you've smelt Ciel Magnolia, Neroli Amara, etc you've already smelt this. This time with the added "impression of greentea" seen in many fragrance with tea in the name.
