Puma I'm Going Man

Very, very nice - don't let the cheap price put you off. On opening there's a brief fruity smell. The tangerine, pineapple and apple; a little synthetic, a little not fresh (if you know what I mean) a little bit like a scented candle. This very quickly disappears and the caramel takes over. Glorious sweet caramel, but this doesn't stay as a unique smell, if it did it would be too cloying. The caramel is balanced out by a great musky amber. The amber is unbelievably good, so warming. I've only had a fleeting impression of the incense but I think that's because I'm looking out (sniffing out) for it. Had I not read the notes I don't think I'd be picking it up. Now for the negatives. This has very weak sillage. I don't know how much you'd have to put on to be noticed, probably more than the couple of small samples I have here. Longevity is only ok, about 3 hours tops. Those little gripes aside this is a wonderful fragrance. Think I may treat myself to a full bottle.

This was my fovourite when I was a teenager. Today it ́s good, but not as good as then. I didn ́t notice the caramel basenot before I read about it here on fragrantica, but it ́s there.

I got this as a gift when I was a kid and I still remember it, I wish I could find a bottle. I remember the sweet caramel and the incense notes.

Blind purchase... and later turned out To not suit me at all. Sweet pineapple opening, and then u get the familiar old man musk. The combination works well provided u can stand the sweetness. I couldn't. Would work well in a gymbag or for high school kids. Youthfull fragrance, no doubt puma's target market.

Nice fruity scent with an oriental touch. Really not sporty, but definitely great for jeans wear. Refined, sexy, passionate, but at the same time fresh and juvenile. Great for the ones in their 20s.

A question came to my mind when I wore this one: Why make such a delicious smell if no one will perceive it but the one who wears? Very bad sillage and projection. The lasting on me is about 4 hours. Never again!!!

Very synthetic and a little bit sweet. I don't feel any fruits, flowers. Incense? Where?! Nothing special.

definitely sweet in the opening, I haven't got a brilliant nose but I think I can get maybe some fruits, but I know it smells sweet. the dry down is musk heavy but there is an essence of incense and amber. for £50-65 there are better performing, better blended and better overall smelling fragrances out there. EDIT: peculiar incense seems to come through to the same level as the musk. Although different and slightly worse(ly?) blended, and more Ysl Y (edp?) from what I remember, I think L'Homme Lacoste Intense is a better quality scent for the price but idk
