Quiksilver for Men

Quiksilver for men blows my mind away as other fellows had pointed out. Special thanks to Boots for reducing its price. I would regret if I did not decide to buy this and might consider going to buy another bottle as a spare. Please allow me, as being new to aquatic fragrance, to describe this fine fragrance for you. IMHO, Quiksilver is a truly amazing and incredibly refreshing scent lying in the same category as Bvlgari aqva and Acqua di Gio but radiates in different manners. It eliminates my doubt about its expanded target on perfumery rather than only a fashion design they are very good at. The opening notes are well formulated coming as a burst of grapefruit and orange. Its dry-down note is one of the most impressive part among other big names in the market. Sandalwood is there and mind you that Quiksilver uses its self-planted Australian sandalwood with the "Australian Certified Organic" label on its box. I have to admit that I always fall for fragrances containing sandalwood ☻ The bottle is really cool with a distinct design on the rubber cap. Sillage is really great packed with very long longevity. All in all. 10/10 for me. Please keep up decent and affordable fragrance Quiksilver. I'll keep my eyes on your product ☻ Update(03.03.10): Mimimun of 5-6 hours on my skin despite the very watery sensation you feel and smell at the time you spray it on. IMHO, Quiksilver is really worth a try ☻

One of the usual fresh aquatic scents but this one comes with a salty oceanic twist. First of all, the bottle is nice with a sporty rubber cap. the scent starts with a fresh salty citrusy oceanic scent; very typica but very nice. It reminds me of Bvlgari Aqva and Aqva Marine for its salt and grapefruit combo, but I find Quiksilver to be milder, woodier and work better for my taste. The base is nice too. It becomes dry musky wood and it stays just sweet enough to make me feel fresh and pleasant. Eucalyptus doesn't project like Vicks VapoRub, but it's there at the right amount to invigorate the whole experience. Overall, I paid $10 for 1.7oz and I can't complain. It's not a bad scent at all and it lasts a long time on me. Just make sure you find a great deal.

Living in the south of France, loving the beach and being attached to the 6 months of warm weather, I like to collect all perfumes with iodine notes (salt, sea water) and this perfume is by far my favourite. A golden nugget that is unfortunately discontinued and easily worth 4 or 5 times its price. It is better in its apparent simplicity (simple can be complex) than all the ADGs for example. It's by definition the dirty fresh scent : this bitter orange crushed on a driftwood heated by the blazing sun give it a kind a aventurous "violence". A really unique scent !

I give this one a thumbs-up. Pleasant, not heavy...Good for summer and outdoors. The top notes include a nice citrusy opening (grapefruit and bitter orange) with a touch of sea accords. The eucalyptus adds a nice "minty" background. The drydown is enjoyable with Australian sandalwood. I have to spray more than usual to get the effect and sillage that I desire. At times, it reminds me of Halston I-12, but not as potent. Still smells pleasant after 8-10 hours. Overall, this was a nice surprise. I tried it, liked it and bought it at TJ Maxx at a great price.

It smells so nice and fresh OMG it's like a mix of marine sea breath from light blue intense and spice woody from bontblanc explorer. amazing one. It released 2008 you may think Oh it's old fashion or outdated but this dna it's timeless. the marine aquatic like a sea with fresh kick and woody touch, this dna will last to the end of the world. very underrated and rare. If you find it grab it. overall 8.7/10
