Big Pony 3 for Women

I tested this beautiful perfume many years ago, but than I couldn't afford to buy it, it was very expenciv, and I have been looking for it for many years, and than, suddenly it was there in a shop in Bergen, so I bought it :)) And, I love it, I love the clean, fresh and soapy feeling about it, and first I smell the pear, much, much, much pear, without any sourness, and than comes the mimosa, very flowery and GREEN mimosa, I love mimosa, and, I have been thinking of buying Yellow Diamond, I think they have something in common, and yes, it also reminds me of Tommy Hilfiger, it also reminds me of KL Fleur de Pecher. I think Big Pony 3 is very office friendly and is made for everybody who loves pear and mimosa :))

Love it! So absolutely perfect for spring, sweet and fruity but also light and fresh with hint of flowers, it does remind of Versace's Yellow Diamond but it's little less "mature" and less soapy, i like it much more.

I love clean, fresh, bright fragrances and based on the descriptions I was expecting #1 to be my favorite, but #3 blew was way better. Really fresh smelling yet balanced.

i am so in love! it reminds me DKNY green apple which i wore last summer. Fruity and simple but oh such goodness on hot humid day!

I was soooo excited when I got a little 3 bundle pack of Ralph Lauren 3 with body mist and nail polish, until I found out I was allergic to it! :/ I was so caught up on the awesome deal I was getting I forgot that I always have to try a fragrance a couple times before I get it, sometimes my body just doesn't like whatever is in the bottle... I cough every time this is on me! Well aside my little life story there, this is a very clean, pretty scent, the epitome of fruity floral! If you are looking for an inexpensive scent, like a body mist, but with longevity and more notes less alcohol, this is for you!

Summer refreshment! Reminding me of Elizabeth Arden Sunflower, which I like, the scent had a positive start-off. Fresh, a bit sweet and ozonic in a sunny, clean and to me rather pleasant way. The ozonic freshness was too much at times - I am not at all an ozonic fan - BUT when hot sun hit the skin the most beautiful fresh flowerscent - must be mimosa - radiated from the skin which I had to keep sniffing. So I would recommend wearing this in super hot and super sunny weather, perfect I think. Pretty modest sillage (ocassional whiffs) and good longevity (the whole day).

I do like this scent, it's very simple. This is not a show stopper, this might not even be a scent that gets you a lot of compliments but if you enjoy some breezy light florals, a hint of pear, then this is for you. It's a very gentle scent. I try to wear lighter scents like this during the change of the season. It's just something you dab on once and awhile during the day. And yes, it does need to be reapplied during the day, it doesn't last a long time. It's got that going against it.

the bottom line is this is not a bad fragrance at all. It's a sweet, not sticky, nice floral. Sadly, I find it somewhat ordinary. It's very simple, nothing sophisticated. It's much like wearing a polo shirt: not your typical t-shirt, but it's still a t-shirt. Big Pony 3 for Women is a nicely constructed floral, but still - simply a sweet floral.

The best out of 4 Big Pony collection for me. Fresh but sweet mimosa mix with juicy mouthwatering pear makes this fragrance very girly and cheerful. The longevity and sillage are pretty good. I think it's easy to wear and perfect for everyday use. I wish they release EDP edition because this scent is too lovely to be just only EDT.

Pear? or Shampoo? whatever it is, it's lovely! Light & Lively scent for few hours and dried down to smooth floral scent. Perfect for outdoor days. Agreed to Jasminalia that it's reminded me to Versace Yellow Diamond but i would prefer Polo Pony 3 as for its cheaper price & smoother when dried down.

Not my fav for sure. It reminds me of Sunflowers. I love pear and fizzy scents, but this one falls short for me. It's not bad, but it's one of the few bottles I would say I will not be buying again. I use mostly citrus scents so I mix it usually too! Not cheap either, but seems that way.

Bright and sweet floral sunshine! The fruit is nice and light. The florals are warm and sunny. There’s a gentle wood scent. You don’t need to spray much. Really nice.

I find this to be a light, fresh floral. I don't think its overly sweet, its more of a refreshing simple scent, suitable for spring and summer wear.

The pear is kind of sharp at first and then the drydown is a nice fresh floral fruity. It's ok, I love mimosa but I'm kind of "meh" about this one.

This fragrance has been discontinued, and after a bit of testing it's not difficult to see why. If you are into decently blended, very light, linear, synthetic, miscellaneous yellow floral fragrances with relatively poor performance and no real redeeming qualities other than the fact that it could not possibly offend anyone, then this fragrance is for you. Otherwise, this is a pretty safe miss.

Very nice opening; fresh, fruity and floral. The longer I wear it, the sweeter it gets, and at some point that sweetness makes me nauseous. Normally, I adore sweet and fruity scents. This one just doesn't do it for me.

This is an okay scent, fairly likeable. I smell the pear A LOT, and it was a little too much for me. This is the only one I have from the collection, but would be nice to smell the others.

there is no comparing versace yellow diamond to this. I have them on now at the same time, and the mimose and pear is all they have in common! Versace is an elegant expensive sweet yellow floral, designed for a more adult audience. The soapy waxiness comes from the orange flower and neroli, and versace has a good dose of citrus in it as well. I simply feel too young to wear it well. I would say it's for women 30+. on the other hand, Ralph is indeed a fruity sweet syrup synthetic cocktail. If that's what you're going for, then all's well. But I am disappointed in Ralph lauren. The other big pony's are in my opinion, so much better. Alas my fiance thinks it smells divine, so off to find a different pear mimose fragrance.

Not a good perfume. It has two of my favorite notes in it--mimosa and pear. But it's not strong enough on mimosa. And it's not strong enough on pear. It seems like a very synthetic blend of the two, like a low-quality chemical syrup. If you like mimosa, you should try Versace Yellow Diamonds. If you like pear, I have no suggestions for you because I have not found anything that could compare to Escada Sunny Fruitti, which was discontinued many years ago.

Sharp headache in bottle. Scent never evolved or changes. It is just too much floral and orange for me. It doesn't smell bad, I can see how someone else may like it. I use it to spray the arms of my couch sometimes. It keeps the cats from scratching the fabric, cats find citrus offensive.

Finom, visszafogottan nőies, légies.Nem erős és gyomorforgatóan édes, inkább olyan "láthatatlanul" ölel körül. Kevésbé tartós mint a kék. Megvenném, ha nem volna már 6 másik parfüm a polcomon.. :)

Ralph Lauren Big Pony #3 is tropical, fresh, and fruity! This smells exactly like Victoria Secret’s Sexy Little Things Noir Summer. Fruity mimosa and sweet pear. Very light and great for summer!

The mimosa and the pear are very nice, I kind of get a tropical vibe from this perfume. It's light, sweet and fruity. Reminds me of something Escada would create. I think it's ideal for summer!

I get apples, not pears. It's not terrible, but it seems like it's already been done in DKNY Be Delicious

Ralph Lauren is the perfume house to go to if sporty scents are your thing. This brand boasts many fresh, energizing and casual scents for women and the Big Pony series is no exception. Big Pony 3 is my favourite from this series. It's a yellow floral scent with sweet and fruity nuances. As an Australian having grown up surrounded by wattle trees (from which bloom what is internationally known as mimosa), I am very fond of this floral accord. It's the perfect blend of sweet and powdery, and despite the affordability of this fragrance, the scent itself does not come across as cheap. Hints of pear and citrus in the heart of Big Pony 3 make this perfume universally likeable. I can't say that Yellow Diamond by Versace reminds me of this fragrance at all. Big Pony 3 smells much more pleasant on me, with more of a dominant floral accord. The projection was fairly average, however the longevity was a lot better than I expected. Overall, Big Pony 3 is inoffensive, feminine and appropriate for the younger consumers. Other scents from this series did not captivate me like Big Pony 3 did. It does stand out as the better of the four.

Yep! Me and my Shopper's Drug Mart clearance shelf hahaha I recently started a job that is next door to SD, which is so awesome for my inner perfume and makeup addict, but so so SO bad for my wallet and possibly my marriage hahaha I got this and number 1 there in the last two weeks for 19.99....50 ml size too, not the tiny ones!!! I couldn't figure out what it reminds me of, and then when I came on here I saw the BBC Max whatever it's called....terrible I can't remember, but yes it is a stronger,longer nicer version of that! They last incredibly well, they aren't at all over powering, I work for a company with over 600 employees-about 75 of which arethere during the same hours as me, and not one person has said anything to me, or to anyone else about me smelling too much like fragrance. In its description, saying it's geared to " rebels and the independent woman" I find to be slightly off, I would say it's more fruity floral summery sweetness, without being obnoxious and childish! Make sense?

Is it just me or does this smell exactly as the marketing photos make you think it will smell? It is bright, energizing, fresh and casual, but in an upscale, preppy kind of way. It's the kind of scent I'd imagine you'd wear to watch a professional tennis match or a horse race, or something having to do with boats. Wear to a boozy brunch with girlfriends that stretches well into the afternoon. Throw on a breezy cotton sundress and this perfume for a late lunch at an outdoor cafe when you're on vacation somewhere fabulous and spent all morning by the pool or on the beach and have absolutely no plans and nowhere to be - the gorgeous feeling of a little sweat and ice melting in drinks and infinite potential because you have no other plans for the rest of the day. It's definitely a warm-weather perfume for me, and a weekend perfume. I'm so sad that it's becoming harder to find.

This perfume is beautiful, honeyed, golden yellow sunshine. Languid and golden, the beautiful mimosa comes in along with yummy sweet pear, and a splash of green freshness. There’s also a fresh aquatic element, which makes this a perfect summertime scent. It’s clean, it’s honeylike without being overly sweet, it’s like a slow stroll in the park by a lake on a hot summer day, with wafts of honeycomb and sweet golden pear.

again, with the overpriced mediocrity here, Ralph. this fragrance smells very..cologne-y. like nowhere near the designer perfume cologne-y. it has this 'fizzy' and 'tangy' 'taste', not that sweet, really. rather to be fresh and soda-ish.a cheerful fragrance, light and lasts for quite a bit in where i live somewhere in average/acceptable level,not that special,and why spending so much on this?

in the first minute or so it's really fruity and pleasant, then it smells exactly like tommy girl to me for an hour or so (a scent that I don't really dig anymore). Once that wears off, the mimosa is very present (I think it is mimosa, not sure tho). reminds me of sth in my childhood. can't stop sniffing it. Don't know tho if i would buy full bottle (I got a sample).

It might not be the most complex scent yet it smells real nice, it smells sunny, and pretty. It is rather light , easy to wear, easy to enjoy, a nice yellow fruity/floral, not outstanding but really nice. I personally don't find it soapy at all, just a nice easy to wear simple scent.

I tried this today- took home a sample too. I'm still not sure if I like Vera Wang's Princess or this better. It's really light and refreshing. I think florals can be too much sometimes. I also think the bottle's cute and preppy too. It's a nice fragrance.

I like the interesting pear note of this fragrance. MY sister bought it to me from Strawberrynet these days and I think is more for summer. But is very light, optimistic and young! I start to enjoy wearing it!

OMG! I am in love with this perfume I have just bourght it on offer with the gift box for £20 cheap! But it is so refreshing and fruity this is deffintly going to be my new summer fragrance!

Just bought this the other day and I can't stop wearing it! I have to admit I'm not a big fan of florals, so the fruitiness of this fragrance really fits my expectations. Love it.

I thought number 3 would have been my favorite according to the notes but I did not smell it for more than a couple of minutes. Zero longevity.

Smells a little bit like Clinique's Happy, but not as big and fruity. Simple and sweet, but nothing special that stands out.

I like this a lot. Fresh, floral but still very womanly. My go-to everyday scent. I find this better than the 1,2 and 4.

It's a sun kissed scent & yellow is the right colour for its packaging Reminds me of Lacoste touch of Sun :)
