Polo Red Racing Edition

The smells NOTHING like it’s Flakers! It’s the best One IMO. And I have the new Polo red Extreme , and they would have been beautiful if it wasn’t so much leather! This is a projection and sillage Beast. For me a compliment monster. Blind buy safe

My Polo goes vroom vroom. Cranberry hit with a undercut of citrus on the open, showing off some sweetness. It isn’t as opulent and juicy as Red Parfum, but is more prominent with the cranberry. It moves quickly from open to heart notes, with sage taking the main stage, cranberry still present, adding a subtle coffee note (you have to hunt for it). Drydown was creamy cedar-ish cranberry to my nose. Within 20-30 minutes it felt as though everything pulled back into a personal scent bubble. Unless one felt a compulsive need to collect every conceivable flanker, there's no difference between this and the Polo Red EDT; it has a pleasant and enjoyable scent profile, albeit weak in projection and longevity, which makes this ideal for cooler weather gym use and short errands. I paid $38 for a 125ml, so it is very affordable through discounters at the moment.

Attention fragrance brands: Stop doing this! Stop rereleasing scents that are basically 1:1 the same as previous releases. This is just Polo Red EDT, repackaged. That's all it is. And so that's the review. I enjoy Polo Red EDT a lot, and so that means I enjoy the "Racing Edition," too. Ralph Lauren does this way too many times with all their flankers—they just rerelease the same thing. Please do something a bit different. The Polo Red series could be so much more, but it's just the same exact stuff over and over again.

Many many Red editions! STOP! It seems the same notes as my fav Polo Red Intense. But the SAGE herbal is PUNJENT, it is always a dry peppery note that ruins many scents with that herb, i hope the delicious coffee and the marvellous saffron makes bright that charm of the intense version please!

This smells like John Varvatos XX Intense to me and they share some of the same notes (Cedarwood, Coffee). But so far it is very weak and stays a skin scent. Good to wear as an office scent since it does not project much and is not too strong.

Same notes as original Polo Red with the addition of lavender in the middle and vanilla on the bottom. So, if you liked the OG, but thought it could use some lavender and vanilla, the waiting is over!

Can anyone say if this is a projection bomb and if you can detect the lavender. I’m big on lavender and I think if it’s missing I wouldn’t like it that much. Thanks!
