Rammstein Paris for Him

bright, sharp citrus blends somewhat seamlessly with the pineapple. fruit notes are dominant and black and pink pepper stand just before them. the steel elixir doesn't make this smell much different, essentially it just adds a wood accord. imagine what was previously described, just sprayed onto a freshly chopped piece of wood. it's not bad, not any worse, but not worth using the elixir on. instead, i'll occasionally use the elixir with seemann intense. the wood accord balances it.

I have lost count how many Rammstein bottles I have in my collection, and to be honest, I have hardly got disappointed by their perfumes, especially when you take their price and performance into consideration. Paris is just another interesting bottle, with reasonable performance, although it is nothing groundbreaking. Paris to me is an earthy bomb, from the heart till the drydown, very contrary to its fresh fruity opening. Upon spraying, I immediately get the citrus and fruity notes. Green apple and pineapple are both very obvious. The opening is fresh and clean, slightly green, bordering on cleaning detergent. On my skin, the sweetness is amplified and smells close to fruit candy featuring tropical fruits. Patchouli is already detectable at the beginning. You can already smell hint of bitter earthy patchouli next to the fruitiness in the opening, and it get louder and louder as it develops. On my skins, the sweetness quiets down while the earthy patchouli kicks in. Interestingly, my skin really amplifies the earthy facet, which adds a lot more weight and depth. From this moment on, it is no longer fresh and fruity as in the opening; instead, it takes the path of getting woody and earthy. I can understand it when people do not appreciate its drydown, as it is quite woody and earthy, close to medicinal to me, as it smells also quite bitter. However, it is this drydown that reminds me of forest floor. And I think owing to oakmoss, it brings me calm and peace. When I close my eyes, I can vividly picture forest floor dirt mixed with plant stems and moss. Both longevity and sillage are reasonable, and it is more masculine in my opinion.

Very fruity, like sauvage (edp) on steroids. Lasting is weak, around 4hours, with or without elixir. From all this line, kokain black is king. This one is different, just summer teen vibe. Not bad, but not to buy again too.

It opens very citrusy before drying down to a woody fougère. It's not bad but it's a bit boring compared with their other releases. I should say I wasn't able to try the separate elixir that apparently comes with it.

Okay, so someone’s being mature... and has clicked on all fragrances with “gay” in the name in the Reminds me of section. I have no idea why all Remmstein fragrances get so much hate. They are better than most celebrity releases.
