Leather + Pine

This has a really deep but not overbearing pine scent that I really like. I don't know that I'd call this a Christmas-y scent like most of the reviews seem to be, but it's a little bit ozonic, like snow just fell, so I think this would be a good winter smell. Where I think this really shines, though, is in spring and summer. It's a cold scent and as such contrasts really nicely in warmer temperatures, and makes it smell even a bit 'hydrating' like a cold cup of water or a lake in the mountains. I got this as part of the sample set, and sadly, the atomizer that came with the 2ml doesn't work great; it just sort of drops it on, so I may be applying a lot more or a lot less than most people would, and that may affect how it smells.

To preface: I ordered this as a part of a sampler set. Excellent scent. My first thought was simply “wow this smells expensive.” Earthy and piney; natural like an essential oil or extract. Smells like crushing pine needles between your fingers in the woods after it rains. This is definitely unique and strikes me as something that would appeal to a very outdoorsy man. To me, certainly worth the pickup.

Spectacular perfume with exceptional performance. This will be always one of my favorites whenever I want to feel confident. A rugged lumberjack draped in a leather bomber, chopping wood in a pine forest at a cabin in Ely, Minnesota. The only perfume of 150 in a collection that always garners a compliment from my partner of 5 years. Bravo, Ranger Station!

The label says it, leather and pine. I get both in equal measures, although the leather hangs around longer than the pine. I like it a lot. It's masculine with just the right amount of projection. It's not so heavy that you can't wear it in warmer weather but I really feel like this will be great in December/January.

The opening 10 minutes of this perfume isfantastic as the leather and evergreen pine play off each other quite well. Sadly this dance is short lived as the leather comes to dominate the scent. Overall it’s a pleasant scent with good longevity and decent projection. Although quite linear if you like the smell of new leather, wallets, jackets, shoes you’ll enjoy this offering. Unisex down the line and pretty much any age. For the outdoorsy and outgoing extrovert. Worth a sniff but not the journey
