Hawas London

I feel like no one has described this scent well at all. I dont get grandma vibes at all and I dont get old fashioned or outdated vibes at all what so ever. To me, when I first sprayed in the air it reminded me of a very high end modern luxury hotel or department store you'd find here in Chicago (think a Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus type, or the infamous Burberry on Michigan Ave). Its a very airy, slightly spicy and slightly sweet, floral and clean musky scent, which, to me is perfectly unisex. The rose is most prominent as well as a clean almost soapy musk throughout the scent but it's not linear or at least completely linear. In the opening I do get more of that beautiful saffron, pear, and pink pepper combo than rose and musk as in the opening they are more in the background, but they do come out more and more as it dries ofc. The opening is evervesant. There is this fizzy quality that I get from the saffron and pink pepper which reminds me of the opening of Atomic Rose but with a bit more warmth + the addition of that really nice pear which is more generally fruity then specifically pear. It has the right amount of sharp freshness, sweetness and warmth with the rose popping out a bit rounding the edges. The mid features more rose with white florals, more of that clean musk, and a slight bit more warmth then the opening which I assume is the frankincense. As it enters the base, more of the same with more woody aspects, that amber, and musk. Beautiful 10/10 for me. Projects and lasts, and like I said, very unisex. Can def wear whenever and wherever you want since it has that clean vibe and that freshness. Im glad I like this because the reviews had me second guessing the whole time. TLDR: Musky Rose scent thats airy/fizzy, clean, slightly fruity and warmth.

Just got it. Blind bought it because it was on sale from an online retailer and I felt it was worth the chance. The opening is so fresh and alluring. Pear mixing with rose has me in a trance. The transition through the dry down is so smooth I didn't realize the change in the scent profile until I thought about it because I was still dreaming of the opening. This is a sexy fresh fragrance that isn't overtly male or female. I see it in the realm of Angels Share but they removed the obvious gourmand notes and made it easy for men to wear. Edit: deep in the dry down it has a clear masculine edge. The pear and rose are long gone and the scent is really different. It's masculine, spicy, mature. Edit: The opening and mid is the best part for me. When it gets down to the base the scent is mostly amber but there's something else going on that's slightly woody. Blonde woods, is that possibly a description of oud? Whatever it is, not my favorite but not horrible.

⭐️Honest Review⭐️ If you don’t like Rose, don’t come on here and say it’s an awful fragrance! Perfumes are objective so if you don’t like it, simply say it’s not for you. Don’t trash it saying it’s awful and smells like a grandma. I love this fragrance. I haven’t had many rose fragrances. I have had Ahmed Al Maghribis Oud & Roses and that was such an intense rose. I couldn’t wear it so I sold it. This one is much different! The rose is there 100% but the pear and vanilla come out and it’s so nice. The amber comes out nicely as well and it makes for a mature elegant scent. You could dress it up or down but I’d lean more towards up. My wife hates challenging scents but she likes this one. I am so happy I got it. It was on sale for 26 bucks on Amazon and that was a steal. I will gladly pay full price when I eventually run out! If you like rose, get this fragrance!!!

This one is kind of controversial, because why would Rasasi release a Ex Nihilo Brompton Immortals Extrait clone under their Hawas line if that was meant to be for the mass market stuff? Good question, but it unfairly detracts from the fragrance itself, which is quite beautiful. Chalk it up to the management turmoil and weird decisions going on right now with Rasasi. It opens with a crisp pear and saffron and a touch of pink pepper. In the heart it evolves into this silky, powdery rose and white floral combo with background frankincense. The smoothness of the heart continues into the base where it's resinous blonde woods and musky vanillic amber. It is elegant and refined, where Hawas is otherwise usually loud and playful. Unless of course you think it smells like grandma soap, which is what half the influencers reviewing it say, but I think it is art.

If you like niche and things a little on the edge then you can pull this off. The notes above are pretty spot on, I get a general vibe of pear white floral with a nice grounding of ambers and vanilla to smooth it out. After the initial blasts then it gets into a wonderful drydown. The rose is back there but does exist. A very high class type of perfume that's slightly feminine but can be worn by men as well. I'm looking forward to this as it continues to macerate. Surprisingly the only Ex Nihilo that I've tried is Blue Talisman and what's crazy is this smells like it's from the same house, which it is supposed to be.

Interesting reviews for this one possibly down to Rasasi's odd decision to market it in their "for him" line, when Brompton Immortals extrait is firmly in the unisex category. BIE is also a niche fragrance that is not mass appealing so you really need to sample it before you buy. In that respect it also doesn't really fit in with the more popular fragrances Rasasi have cloned in the Hawas line. Having said all that this is an insanely good dupe if you're a fan of Brompton Immortals. It's rich, strong and smells extremely expensive, which BIE is at £425 for 100ml at Harrods!

I think influencers who dislike this scent are trying to look out for the most number of people so it makes sense they say it's not good. It's niche and won't appeal to everyone but to the people who aren't afraid this scent is great. The opening to the mid is magical. I'm hoping the blonde woods improves with maceration. Google says the perfumer behind it is Jordi Fernandez. Edit: I've been wearing this at night, after a shower, winding down from the day. I fucking love this fragrance.

I really like this fragrance as a woman but I am not a girly girl but I also won't wear overly bruh fragrances either. Middle eastern vibes rose with spices and fruit sweetness but not disgustingly sweet, frankincense adds sophistication. This is beautiful well put together scent but I can see for some men it can be too pretty and for most women too masculine.

I’m beginning to thank it’s just a bunch of people that have a sinus infection 🙄.. beautiful fragrance the silage is more than enough.. don’t listen to anyone on here that says bad things about this scent.. they are definitely delusional.. Leans towards masculine very much so as it dries down!!!

This has definitely continued to mature into an amazing niche scent from beginning to end. I believe it was the blonde woods in the base that used to give me pause when I first got my bottle. Now it actually blends seamlessly with the rest of the fragrance. This is magic but it's not for the meek.

I don’t understand why this fragrance gets so much hate. it’s a beautiful, light, and airy scent. I haven’t experienced Brompton Immortals, so I can’t compare but this one truly stands out as unique. It also performs really well, with solid projection and impressive longevity.

I absolutely love this fragrance. I’ve never smelt brompton immortals but this is great. It’s definitely a more feminine leaning scent but I’m a man and I love it. It’s like a wet musky rose. It smells expensive and luxurious. I would buy another bottle.

This smells Amazing, to my nose I get a Armaf infinite kinda vibes but, with a light but still prominent floral's in the air. Definitely unisex but IMO leaning slightly more masculine. I am very happy with my purchase.

I absolutely love this fragrance and I have made a significant dent in my bottle. To heck with all of the naysayers that say it's an old church lady scent. I find this rose fragrance a masculine masterpiece.

Okay - straight up this smells like luxury - high end! The rose pink pepper saffron and woods are what I pick up most on this. I feel this is going a favorite for many.

A little harsh opening; phenomenal dry down! Cheap alternative for BI Extrait. Could be perceived as feminine leaning, but honestly, I love this fragrance.

I don't get all the hate for this, I think it's great! I came I to it without any preconceived notions because I didn't hear about it until I went into the fragrance store to test it. I immediately liked it. It kind of smells a bit baccarat rouge with rose in it. It's not a feminine old lady rose, I find it youthful and fresh, not too powdery. It's a beast like every Hawas and versatile AF. You can wear it year round I think. I bought the bottle after spraying it on skin and waiting a half hour for it to settle. I was torn between this and another fragrance and I decided to pull the trigger on this because I found it unique and interesting smelling. It really helps to get your nose on it first to see if you like it. It's not blind buy safe IMO.

I blind bought this because it's a cost effective dupe of a hard-to-get (only available at Harrod's) niche fragrance, Ex Nihilo Brompton Immortals Extrait. When I received it, I instantly regretted blind buying it. It wasn't horrible, but it didn't seem to be for me. It was also possibly one of the hardest to categorize fragrances I own. I initially thought it leaned feminine. A few months later, I revisited it and decided I like it. The fact that it's hard to categorize is actually kinda cool and makes it unique in a sea of common, repetitive DNAs. It's a beast for performance and the saffron, rose, pepper and pear work together in their own weird, quirky but now enjoyable way. My current opinion is that it's solidly unisex.

Brompton Immortals is an absolute masterpiece of a scent. It smells lavish, luxury, opulence and taste in a bottle. I got hold of a sample of Hawas London last week and wore it anger for a full day and it's a good, but only good. If you want longevity and your skin smelling of this for a good 10+ hours, your clothes smelling strongly of it the following day, buy it. Scent profile though, it's a bit synthetic and the usual Hawas "screamer" off you. It's missing the refined subtelty. For the price as well, £40 for 100ml - it's currently expensive. I personally wear IMMORTAL LONDON by Fragrance World, which is £14 for 100ml and although not as strong, is (to me) a far better fragrance.

Hawas London smells very unique, potentially challenging, and hard to find an occasion for. I'm surprised Rasasi would release something like this in their line focused on easy wear and mass appeal, Hawas London definitely isn't that. I like it though (as a collector), the ingredient quality is great also. The rose is of the powdery style and smells grown up, but I'm also detecting something unusual, like gasoline or something. Strong performance.

I get some similarity to Hawas Fire in the opening, perhaps the sweet, amber notes. Settles to a powdery rose and woods through the mid into the drydown and actually reminds me of a rose version of YSL Myslf in how it comes across. Overall I don't think this deserves the hate it’s getting. Certainly different to others in the Hawas line but i think it’s a modern, wearable fragrance for men.

Forget the Hawas name; this is not a loud, juicy beast. It is a nuanced, green rose and spicy pear scent best suited for breezy spring days. The florals can feel a bit sharp if you're sitting still, but they balance beautifully with the saffron and woods once you’re moving. I hope Rasasi keeps making these sophisticated scents, just under a different label.

For me, it has a totally unbearable opening, you might feel nausea if you smell the opening in somewhat warmer days. But as it settles in, it gives off really beautiful rose notes which I really like. I feel like its more of a female perfume. And also it has a good projection and longevity(4-6 hours on skin, on clothes until you wash it off).

It is a very powdery rose in. The initial spray smells beautiful. The initial spray also smells a bit more feminine, but as the dry down happens with the Amber, it does pull it back into the unisex realm. It’s very smooth smells very elegant. It’s definitely a classy scent.

I don’t get the hate this perfume gets ! It’s pretty nice and for the price it’s a great deal

#1658 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this as a sprayette from scentswithsense.com. This is my sixth “Hawas” scent. They have nothing in common but the shape of the bottle and they are all fine scents. This is a feminine-leaning unisex scent. Pretty floral. Similar to Electimuss “Rhodanthe" and Emper “Boulevards of New York”, though both are a tad more feminine than this. Rhodanthe is sweeter and more citric, much more expensive. Boulevards is a bit fruitier thanks to a raspberry note. Otherwise not much different than this, and you can find the Emper for under $30. I gave every scent in that Emper line to a girlfriend for Christmas and she liked them all. Nice scents, mostly feminine leaning, all good quality. This is a solid quality scent that’s unlikely to offend anyone in any environment. Arm’s length silage. Definitely gets you to lunch. I think women would prefer the Emper to this. I’m not sure how many guys will fancy all the white flowers this gives off. I’d be okay with it for date nights, definitely not for office wear. But it’s so floral with all the rose and white flowers that I was not particularly interested in owning it, at first, but with additional use I changed my mind and ordered a bottle. The only other I don’t have yet is “Viper” and I’ve ordered that as well. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

I typically would like to leave a full in-depth review of a fragrance, but I can't do that with this one. It's OK. It smells like wet rose to me, and then dries down while keeping that rose profile to something more musky. Think of the scent you'd smell when walking through your grandmom's place. Since there's a lot of Rose in this fragrance, I'd imagine this is what she was wearing when telling her POV to Bill Paxton and co. in Titanic. I listened to a bunch of reviews on this one, and most praised it. But I have to generally agree with "Gents Scents" on this one. Not really for me..I can see myself wearing this maybe once in a blue moon? Or maybe I'll wear it to the theatre next year for Titanic's 30-year anniversary. 4.5/10

I feel betrayed tbh, i had high hopes because i love hawas line but this one? Is literally a feminine perfume i tried to convince myself that it is unisex like blue talisman etc but no this is a straight up floral powdery scent with soft oud maybe . The scent is beautiful but not on a man im mad who the hell smelled and approved to be released as a man fragrance ? Not even unisex Update: after letting it in the shelf for 3 months , i can say the scent changed dramatically. It became better blended and beautiful and fully unisex not granny vibes anymore or at least like the first few days i got it . I can see myself wearing it is very classy now but also floral heavy

Ok, I just sprayed this from a store. I already have Jamaican Tobacco from Ibrahim al Qurashi, which is similar. So, the Jamaican Tobacco is better to my nose for one specific reason. The Hawas has this unpleasant smell once it hits the mid...comes off like hot breath. The Jamaican Tobacco at the same point, is much smoother and palatable...like it's using a better patchouli or something that's supposed to give some animalics. London is one of the first Hawas fragrances to take a chance on something outside of the typical designer hype stuff, which I love. This fragrance just wasn't executed well enough, but I like the outside the box mindset.

Bought it for a coworker and tried it today, in the beginning got hit with a sweet and fruity blast, rose and tipical oriental smell, nothing very unique but very pleasing. When it comes to performance is the worst Hawas I ever tried, I owned Hawas original, Ice and Elixir, and this one barely holds 4-5 hours, and get close to the skin very quickly. I know performance can vary a lot based on the skin, but in comparison eith the others Hawas is way weaker. Not worth the €40 in my opinion, not for me at least. Safe blind buy if you're into oriental stuff, definiteli leans FEMININE.

Update (02/27/26): Ten days of sitting and it’s better blended and more “niche” like in the sense that it’s not a very common scent that you find everywhere. It’s a “like” now for me. Kind of pleasant and not offensive, easy to wear. _____________ I collect the Hawas line (male and female, and I’m female) and this is the first one I’m disappointed. I do like middle eastern rose/saffron scents but this one is not here nor there. Unless it changes abruptly after sitting, this is the first one of the line that I don’t think it’s worth it.

tried as a decant and have not smelled the original. I get a floral and incensey opening with a bit of sweetness that dries into a florally woods. not my kind of scent so I would not buy a full bottle. Performance on skin is around 8 hours with medium to strong projection. test first.

Timedog below is spot on. Terrible at first. It needs a long time to mature at home. Mine has improved somewhat. I am hopeful.................... Will review again in a few months

Just got this. I think it needs to mature for a while. All I get is a musk smell with faint florals. Will review again in a while. London is the worst Hawas for me so far.

Good perfume if you bear the first hour and a half on skin. It'd be a lot better if the opening didn't feel like a synthetic rose cleaning product.

After 3 weeks maturing at home. I'm only getting a faint rose and alcohol smell........BIG shame.

This was hyped up by a certain YouTuber named Cuba and is not worth it. These companies are flying these influencers out to Egypt and pay them into creating bias reviews for money. Yes they are making their living but also giving the public a biased review. Save your money... Companies pay other celebrities to promote but they don’t they to intentionally create bias and review products falsifying facts. These influencers like aromatix, Cuba, that Mikayla are all sellouts. It’s fine make your money, but at least have the backbone to say something isn’t as good and you wouldn’t buy it if it is this bad.... Cal cologne ash scents and joy amin create less bias content and are honest.

Started out with a smooth amalgamation of smells that I can't really describe. A bit citric, quite a bit of rose and some smooth woods with a touch of sweetness. Then it kinda gets funky and despite oud apparently not being here I get a touch of it in there. Might be a mix of patchouli (which I am sensitive to), the woods and the rose mixing together to give me that vibe but I'm not a fan. I can say for certain it's not nearly as bad as something like arabian's tonka (made me throw up) and is quite pleasant to catch in the air, but I could never wear this or be in close proximity to someone if they were wearing it for more then a minute.

I'll be short and blunt about this. This is by far one of the worst scents i have ever tried, it is so strong i get dizzy by it... It really smells like gasoline, it is a unique scent but for me not in a good way but rather in a off putting way. I do not like it, it is 100% not for everyone and most of all, this does not represent london. Overall: 0/10. Everytime i smell it i get dizzy like as if i drank 1 liter of whiskey that has gasoline smell to it.

I have 9 different hawas fragrances and tbh this is the most disappointing one so far. Atlantis was okay after sitting but this is super feminine and old lady smelling. Definitely not for me and will collect dust or I’ll give it away. It gives me bathroom cleaner vibes!

I dont know why it says for him on the bottle. Pure feminine old lady perfume smell. I feel cheated but thats what you get for blind-buying. I dont get any frankincense or woods just pure powdery rose. Well disappointed.

This release from Rasasi is atrocious. I own the OG, Ice, Black, Fire, Elixir, Tropical, Diva, Eclat, and Pink along with decants of Viper, Malibu, Kobra, Verde, and Atlantis and let me tell you London is by FAR the worst release yet. How does a scent marketed as masculine smell so much like an old lady mixed with bathroom cleaner? Don't believe me? Watch Gent Scents hint in regards to London. Cuba glazed this for a check, Cal advertised it without warning, and every other "nobody" has been pushing it. Gent Scents & TLTG have been the only two honest reviewers who make legitimate reviews and give unbiased feedback. Beware this fragrance and RUN.
