Royale Blue

Ah Royale Blue... I remember using this glorious cheapie during a certain period of my college days. I recently got a bottle and it smells just like I remember. Now to be honest, it's sickly synthetic in the opening and you're well advised to keep your nose away from where you sprayed it for about (1-2) minutes upon spraying. Once you get past the unpleasant opening with its sad synthetic melon note (first 3 to 5 minutes), you get a fresh clean scent that just works! Two pluses for this fragrance are versatility (it's "blue" after all), and how it works exceptionally well in the heat (and gym, outdoors, etc). The scent is aquatic, fresh clean, and mass appealing; it kinda resembles ADG Profondo but made with lower grade oils. This is a pre 2012 release so I think they really wanted to clone Polo Blue EDT and give it an aquatic twist; so in a way, they accidentally made a Profondo prototype way before its time and called it Royale Blue. It's a strong performer for a freshie (the positive side of being synthetic), averaging about 8 hours of longevity with a nice scent trail/bubble. It's a beast of an aquatic cheapie and I'd pick this over the infamous Nautica Voyage any day of the week!

This is pure gold. For the price, you would anticipate a cheap rip off from another famous perfume. However, with Rasasi Royal Blue, that was not the case. The moment you spray it on for the first time, you will truly feel the freshness of this perfume. Silage is absolutely wonderful and decent longevity as well. Soft smelling, not so hard on your nose. I would definitely refer this to everyone to try at least once. You will not regret it. People would compliment you and think you are wearing a fancy costly perfume. Go for it!!

I have/ had over 200 perfumes from cheapies to high end luxury niches I can easily say: this one can be picked as (for life fragrance) Very clean fresh aquatic smell Can be dressed up or down, summer or winter, day or night Love it 😍 Was my signature scent from 2009-2012 Still good performer

this perfume on of My favorite fragrances i feel like i am lies down in forest near creek and sun light hit my face with smell of breeze its the best choice for hot day

Lovely scent, I wish it could really last. Hidden gems like these are what makes us unique. Very beautiful but very weak scent. How can it be made to last longer?

Fresh aromatic...slightly synthetic but good for the price...moderate performance...good fresh out of shower daily use perfume.

The shopkeeper literally forced me to buy this cheapy saying "you won't regret this buy" and I did not regret a bit. It's the summer solution in a bottle. Melon (which lasts throughout its life) along with Sea Water with flowers in the background. Very refreshing and pleasant with just a hint of some odd note in the beginning that I can overlook. Most of all, the sillage I get from Royale Blue is mind blowing, that too for hours. I don't get this kind of sillage from many expensive products. One of the permanents in my collection. Well done Rasasi. Here on Fragrantica, it falls in the group of Woody Floral Musk. I don't know but for me it's more of Aromatic Aquatic Floral.

Super synthetic!! I blind bought this because everything I have tried from Rasasi has been very good.. I found it on eBay for 20 bucks and thought what the heck I’ll pull the trigger.. For 20 dollars this is pretty darn good.. At forest spray, you get a super synthetic, almost headache inducing aquatic that only lasts for about 10 minutes.. It then goes in this floral direction with a toned down aquatic note still lingering around... I get great longevity 6+ hours and moderate sillage.. This is very nice but very synthetic.. But, what else do you expect paying 20 dollars.. I like it wouldn’t buy it again.. Rating 7.4/10

It's affordable at USD 10, lasts long, has decent sillage. I was surprised when a co-worker who herself is in to perfumes quipped that I must be wearing an expensive cologne and that it smells nice. It can be really harsh and screechy on your nostrils after the initial spray. I personally was not a fan of this. I had to give it away as it went against my philosophy "wear perfume to please yourself and not others around". The friend who I gave it to bought it again though.

Using it for a week and I will say it's average at it's best. One of freshesh aquatics "Blue" concept out there which is average performer and very linear. This is a kind of perfume which will not offend , because people will hardly notice it but it does lingers , someone having a close encounter with you will definitely notice it. Got it cheap for 25$ so can't complain. Scent 7/10 Performance 6.5/10 Longativity 5/10 Sillage 5/10 Won't buy again.

i got it for 9$ approx 650rs in india and boy its so great for it price the sandalwood note in this perfume is so great and this perfume have a powdery middle notes and its soo good for summers and office wear its so gentle and you might get some compliment . its worth the price

Very nice & fresh scent, but I guess without the Galbanum it would have been even better. I think the herbal note give this a twist, but in the wrong direction. The performance is quite good actually, for a freshie. It’s EDP concentration after all.

smell is average. but too much synthetic smelling. something feels off when i smell it. it has a very peculiar aquatic scent. i feel this will smell great when u r sweating bottles like in the gym or in extreme heat.

Good cheap perfume! Very good in mornibg time, will last for 2-6 hours, decent silliage! Fresh note gives a sound freshness but in the synthatic way! Worth blind buy! Can give 7.5/10!

Good perfume for a beginner. For the price it's really worth it. Non offensive smell, good longevity. .The cent profile is a bit out of date but this is a reliable fragrance.

soft and calm summer scent, mainly marine. it would have been better if it had a little umph to it. very light and comfortable. low sillage and longevity on my skin...

It gives you a refreshing feeling..... Suitable for everyday use. Performance is reasonably good specially when compared to the price value!! Over all a safe buy!!

A nice fresh clean fruity scent. Not expensive either. Unfortunately, it's a synthetic smell. The silage is OK though. Not bad but I wouldn't buy again.

Good summer fragrance for beginners

Rasasi Royale Blue is a decent fresh marine fragrance that offers good value for its price. It may not be the most exciting or unique scent, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I wore this as my signature fragrance for almost an entire summer because it was affordable, easy to wear, and versatile. It has a clean blue freshness with a pleasant marine character that's refreshing in hot weather. This isn't a fragrance that will leave people asking what you're wearing or make a bold statement. Instead, it's reliable and safe. It's fresh, inoffensive, and suitable for almost any casual occasion, whether you're going to work, meeting friends, or running errands. For me, its biggest strength is its value. It justifies its price by delivering a pleasant, everyday scent without pretending to be something it's not.

Rasasi rendition of Nautica Voyage. Not much too this. Its fresh and clean simple wear. 2 to 3 hour MAX projection and life.. For the collectors; while it is not an exact clone I do feel it is redundant to hold Royale Blue and Voyage in your collection because they both would be worn during the same times and reasons as the other. I only wear this for an after shower scent.

As expected from a 9$ , nothing special but nothing to hate also Just a generic freshie , not bad to wear at home after a nice shower , performance is more than expected from this price , fair addition to your arsenal .

The composition of notes looked good so i got it and it smelled decent but its very weak. Barely noticeable on skin and clothes.

Bought this cheaply in Oman. Smells synthetic, low quality packaging, used it as air freshener.

The worst Royale rasasi I ever used it causes of headache

I'm going to start by saying this is one of my favorite summer fragrances, I can wear it every single day and not be bored, beecause it's so smooth and inoffensive, you know. I'm wondering why it isn't popular and is so underrated. Opening: Melon and Water goes hand in hand and have a great relationship going that linger throughout the perfume's longevity. It's so original, it's almost like you're bringing out freshly cut refrigirated melon and eating it, slurp nom nom nom. What makes this a complete summer fragrance is Rose and Musk in the drydown. When I spray, it quickly fills the room with the Aroma that I like to start my day with. Longevity and Sillage are moderate, although I'd be happy if it lasted a bit longer. I bought it off for cheap, real cheap but smells expensive, I bet. I was pleased with the deodorant spray's longevity. Age group: 20 - 35.

WOW!! what a fresh smell it has got. I am a huge fan of Rasasi ; simply for the reason that they provide awesome quality products for decent price. I have almost all the EDT's from this house. Well, about this product its one of the best perfumes for summer. It starts with a aromatis top note which later fades away in say 30 min afterwhich the aqua..aqua..aqua.. that sounds fresh right. I dont get much of musk.. but melon may be my nose..! I live in chennai so this kind of perfume which is soft but lasting is nessassary for the summers here. I am a doctor so this is perfect for me. The sillage is moderate like say you dont push the aroma in a distance but in ac room in office chair it suits the ambience.The smell lasts for a long time like 6-8 hrs(in Chennai climate thats long). Ideal for White collared job people. Two thumbs up for Rasasi royale Blue.

an Ultra synthetic copycat of Givenchy Blue Label Pros: -Compliment Factor: 10 out of 10. strangers stopped me in the street to ask for the name, my friends in the gym really enjoyed smelling it on me -great longevity and projection( more than two days, cuts through the air about three feet away) -unbelievably cheap cons: may make your eyes bleed may cause scratches can be the reason for a severe headache I bought three fragrances from Rasasi( Royal Blue, Blue, Hope), this is the case with all the three, (each one is a synthetic ball and is a grotesque rendition of another famous fragrance), after this I came to the conclusion that I should avoid those perfume houses that don't follow the regulations concerning the minimum acceptable quality of the ingredients

In Brazil, all perfumes have comply and have an expiry date because of the heat and humidity, and some markets also have this expiry date. So, perhaps this perfume is complying in advance. No, perfumes will not turn into pumpkins when the 3-year limit ends, but ,with the passage of time they will lose the more volatile notes, longevity and oxidize, turning into a darker iron oxide mess that resembles the smell of blood, only worse.If you live in a cold and dry environment it will take a much longer time. Also, don't expose perfumes to light, it will speed the rate of oxidation.

Very safe, office friendly, cheapie summer fragrance. An affordable version of Bvlgari Aqua marine with similar scent profile. Some may find the opening a bit synthetic which fades away quickly. Longevity is decent for the price, sillage is moderate. If it doesn't induce headache to you as mentioned by few below, give it a try.

Oh my oh my am I lucky to have this jewel of a scent in my collection. Very outstanding in longevity and sillage. 2 thumbs up in my book. I just wish Rasasi perfumes were easier to find in NYC.

A cheapo that smells fresh, and almost like a nostalgic barbershop. absolutely loved this when I had it. But the opening is very synthetic gave me a headache on the first spray.

Simple and wearable for the quickies like 2-3 hours. Clean and fresh out of the shower scent. Decent price. Yeah i will make sure to keep one always for summer days.

There is something in it that i don't like in the smell. I think it's the Galbanum. Scent 5/10
