At some point, I blind-bought Shuhrah just to test it, but I ended up returning it. I simply didn't feel like analyzing it deeply or getting to know it. I already own several others with this DNA, and this one felt like a middle ground — a blend of them all, possibly even the blueprint for the rest, which have slight variations and additions. Eventually, I came across a used bottle with only a few sprays missing, from an older batch, at around 50% off. At that price, I couldn't say no. It opens with an aromatic medley of flowers and spices, marked by a sharp green intensity. What sets it apart from the rest of its family is an unmistakable note of tomato leaf — natural, vivid, as if plucked straight from a backyard garden. It carries an undeniable vegetal edge. Instead of easing you in, later it crashes into a retro barbershop cleanliness, almost like someone spilled an old-school cologne onto damp soil. There's even a subtle watery quality, though I wouldn't call that the dominant aspect. If I focus, I can pick up an ashy, smoky undertone — like a burnt-out cigarette resting in the background. This phase feels like running your hand over cold, rain-dampened stone. Its scent never stands still. There are moments when it seems to shift by the second — always the same, yet constantly revealing a different facet. Sometimes the green sharpness dominates, while other times, it leans into a smoky leatheriness — undeniably masculine. Though labeled as such, its floral-soapy duality allows it to drape just as effortlessly over a sharply dressed woman. It's about attitude, not labels. Woody oud accents lurk beneath the surface. It vibrates between notes, flickering like a dim light in the darkness. It oscillates between raw nature and something almost industrial — like vines creeping over rusted metal. What fascinates me most about this fragrance family is what I call the 'bush' note — I have no idea what it actually is, but it reminds me of a natural, muddy shrub with an unfamiliar yet primal scent, one whose origin I can't quite place — perhaps something oriental. It lingers from start to finish, giving the fragrance a ritualistic, earthy, damp aura. There's something about it that evokes an old archaeologist's leather briefcase, infused with the dust of ancient ruins and tobacco smoked under the desert sun. The opening is absurdly strong in terms of projection. Longevity is at least all day. I love overspraying it — when I do, the cloud that emanates from me is maniacally dense. One of the best monstrous performers I've ever tried. The scent clings to clothes for days, even after washing. As someone once wrote in a review, it does give the impression of clothes after a night in a club's smoking area — though I don't mean that in a bad way. The bottle looks moderately impressive, and the atomizer creates very large, even clouds. It contains a little bit of everything one can encounter in perfumery. The fragrance pyramid on Fragrantica reflects this well — this is probably one of the most densely packed, multi-faceted, and complete compositions I've ever smelled. There's even an unexpected hint of sweet gourmand elements woven in. I think these perfumes smell quite different depending on the weather conditions — I perceive them slightly differently each time. There's something magnetic about it, but in an unconventional way. It's polarizing — love it or hate it, but you won't ignore it. A scent steeped in smoke, dust, and sharp green resin. It's an acquired taste, no doubt. Extremely affordable yet with a pristine quality feel. Shuhrah is a Muslim name of Urdu origin with multiple meanings, including fame and reputation. Anyone who doesn’t know me yet cannot know that I’m Italian, Lombard. In my dialect, the adjective “sciur” for men and “sciura” for women, which is pronounced in the same way as Shuhrah, means a wealthy person, rich, well-off, with a title of respect such as the boss or employer. Absurd. In some ways, the two adjectives have almost the same meaning in the two languages. That said, while its pyramid and olfactory accords contain notes I recognise, its blue colour confuses me and deceives me into thinking it is just another fresh and aquatic blue. But no. Shuhrah is full of unexpected subtleties, among which a soapy floral stands out alongside leathery, smoky, musky and creamy smears. A perfume that I could describe as skanky, both rude and kind if there is such an oxymoron. What does Shuhrah pour Homme smell like? An unexpected pristine soapiness. My long-held desire finally came true. A distinctive Arabic with soapy rose, smooth suede, and tamed oud. And smoke, a lot of smoke, like a cloud of smoke rising from a bonfire. The first thing that comes to my nose is the rose, a verdant one with sweet and leafy nuances. The rose is soapy and slightly metallic, with a veil of fruity apricot and dewy freesia surrounding it, and the whole sits on a bed made of tomato leaves. It is a creepy opening, something not familiar or present in Occidental design fragrances. And the rose, which is generous here, does not have a feminine slant or any powderiness. Instead, it is like smelling a bunch of dried roses left for many hours in an old lounge where smoking is allowed inside. The smell of roses, ashes, and wet butts is the outcome—a clean, light opening ready to burst. The fragrance twists the heart and shows a smoky facet like an ashtray full of butts. Not present in the pyramid, I catch an overdose of smokiness from frankincense or olibanum. Not the fat and waxy church resins, but something like the smoke from a meditative burning cone. Of the two kinds of wood, dry cedar is the one I feel most, whereas the creaminess of the sandal is imperceptible on my skin but exudes from the sprayer. If I put my nose close to the wrist, I catch a pinch of creaminess. However, the omnipresent rose, which is now drier like dehydrated roses, is not alone, and a floral inflexion of white jasmine oozes from this Arabic creation. The dry-down is where Shuhrah shines. In addition to the notes listed, I catch a precise nuance of tobacco and rose in the background. Imagine a potpourri of rose petals and tobacco leaves. Both musk and oakmoss are muted on my skin. Instead, the hints of suede and smoky oud stand out. The leather is neither raw nor black but a smooth suede. The oud is not rude, animalistic or obnoxious but supports the base notes with a veil of smokiness. Shuhrah is not versatile; a bit too complex and cumbersome. The smokiness is prominent, however, more on the fumy incense and not like Arabi Cana ’s cigarette smoke. It lends itself well to evening and nighttime events, not safe for everyday use because of its attitude. I would avoid wearing it to work, as it is too intoxicating and might annoy other colleagues. The good news is that I get a wondrous scent. The bad news is that I don’t get such a monstrous sillage, and I’m not exaggerating. I sprayed twice on my neck, the back of my head, and twice on my wrists. And then I got outside for some commitments. Well, no one stopped me or told me how good my scent was. Perhaps, my batch has been reformulated. Never mind, I don’t find it sweet at all, i.e., it has a bit of floral sweetness but is not overwhelming. I base my opinion and review on a bottle I have owned since November 2022 (Sep 2022 batch).

Not because it's trendy (it isn't), but because that green, slightly acrid, impossibly alive scent is a direct portal to my grandmother's greenhouse. Warm glass, damp soil, tomato vines brushing against your arms. I searched for a long time for a fragrance that could bottle that feeling. I wear it for myself; the compliments are just a testament to the scent's character! Shuhrah did it. Effortlessly. What Does It Actually Smell Like? This one is not for the faint-hearted — and that's precisely why it's extraordinary. The opening is soapy — but not crisp, not clean, not your morning shower. Think old soap. Stale soap. The kind you'd find wrapped in paper in a vintage vanity drawer, and somehow it smells incredible. Woven through it is a whisper of ash — cool, dry, smoky in the most refined way (and NO it doesn't smell like cigarettes or stale ash!)— and a touch of sweet freesia that keeps it from drifting too dark. Then the tomato leaves arrive. Green, sharp, and unmistakably alive. On the opening they're front and center — a raw green leafy botanical note. The dry-down is where things get truly interesting: imagine the inside of a makeup bag — powdery, tactile, slightly cosmetic — but filtered through an entirely masculine lens. It settles into leather and quiet presence. Something worn-in, confident, and completely unforgettable. There is genuinely nothing else like this. I've smelled a lot of things. This is singular. The Reactions (after a week) Polarizing? Absolutely. My best friend didn't get it, but I had 2 instances where a person and a couple came up to me and asked me what I was wearing, they loved it— a confirmation; honestly, that tells you everything you need to know. This is a fragrance for people with taste, not consensus. It turns heads. Full stop (In a good way...) Performance: Beast Mode Activated Two sprays max!! Chest and side of the neck — you'll be cocooned in this scent from morning until you close your eyes at night. Don't get greedy. Respect the juice. This is a cooler weather fragrance at heart, though I wore it in early spring and it felt completely at home. Crisp air, bare trees, that in-between season energy — Shuhrah owns it. The Kicker? This niche-level masterpiece costs less than a McDonald's meal with a milkshake. The performance, the uniqueness, the sheer artistry of it — at that price point, it borders on criminal. I'm not waiting to see what happens. I'm ordering two backup bottles right now — because if Rasasi ever reformulates or discontinues this, I will be inconsolable. Consider yourself warned. And consider yourself lucky I told you about it. PS. Holy Hell!. I’ve lived a whole life today and this scent is still going 16 hours deep. Jesus.

So. after watching how most YouTube reviewers are claiming that Shuhrah is "Nuclear", I can say that its definately a strong performer, but I wouldn't call it "Nuclear". Now my bottle was made in 2023, which leads me to believe that the later batches are weaker than the earlier ones for sure, again though, still a solid 7-8 hour frag (on clothes) with great projection for the first 3 to 4 hours becoming a skin scent by hour 7 or 8 depending on application. I apply 8 to 9 sprays and its strong, but not cloying and I usually get compliments. The scent is absolutely GORGEOUS! Very unique and decidedly masculine bc of the very present leather accord, but Its sweet and fruity/floral enough that I can see a strong woman who doesn't care about only wearing strictly feminine leaning fragrances enjoying this scent and it smelling great on her for sure. I know that NOʻ fruits are in the notes list, but I pick up on a sort of "fruity nuance". I have (probably way too many) fragrances in my collection, but nothing that smells like Shuhrah, which is why I am so glad I grabbed this gem! Imo it borders "niche territory because if it's unique scent. Probably NOT for everyone, slightly mature, not office safe unless you're minful of how many spritzes you apply. I've gotta give Shuhrah a 10 outta 10 (Only 2 others have 10's in my collection) because of its performance, uniqueness and beauty! ❤️ 🤩 ‐-----------------UPDATE--‐------------- SO I've had Shurah for over a month now, and its still not "NUCLEAR", but again, good performance. So yesterday I did about 8 sprays on clothes and 6 on my neck (Id badically forgotten it was Shurah), I went to work (warehouse scenario) then went into a department which at the time had only women , they ALL said in unison "WOW! you smell AMAZING!" I said, "sorry, I may have over done it this time" and they replied, "NO! you smell REALLY GREAT!" you didnt over do it at all"! Even when I walked out, I could still over hear them saying how nice I smelled😁. I was concerned bc of all the reviews saying how 1 or 2 spritzes are enough, and I could def smell it radiating off me, but it never became "Cloying" smells amazing imo and everyone else's around me! The performance has OBVIOUSLY taken a hit in recent batches, but I dont think its a bad thing. Also, I wear fragrances that I LIKE. Dont wear em' just to get compliments, but compliments on your fragrance choices SURE ARE NICE!! ...THANKS FOR THE READ EVERYONE☺️

My first impression... WTF this smells like the smoke room of a casino sitting on a leather chair being bombarded by cigarette smoke and people wearing way too much perfume. The waitress enters, she's a little sweaty from working all day, she has cigarette smoke in her hair and clothes, and is trying to mask it with a pleasant perfume that is being overwhelmed by the stale smoke and musky casino carpets and leather chairs with perhaps some spilled cocktails. Yep, that's my first impression. An hour later... this is really weird, why am I start to enjoy it. I wish I only did 1 spray though instead of 3 because it's slamming my nose with constant fumes of my Vegas trips (long story). 2-3 hours in... Ok, this projection won't calm down? When will the base notes or dry down arrive. It still smells like I just sprayed it a few hours ago. 4-5 Hours later... finally it settled down, still kinda weird though. But what's even more weird that I like it for some odd reason. Not because it smells so classy, but because it's so fricken different. Gotta love its uniqueness. In summary, this fragrance is not what I usually wear. I prefer gentlemen, masculine, office type scents. This is anything but that. Shuhrah Pour Homme is for those party nights and nothing else. After a bad week at work and you say f*uck it tonight I'm going out to have some fun and let loose like never before. Tonight I'm going to experience life in a new way and I don't give a sh*t what anybody thinks... tonight is my time. Yep, that's when you wear Shuhrah. And believe me, everytime you smell this juice you'll be catapulted back to those nights everyone needs to have at times. I think we all need at least one of these fragrances in our rotation. Even if it's wore just once a year. This is the juice on those crazy nights you just want to be different in a crazy way. Lastly, love it or hate it nobody can deny this is some high quality powerful juice. If you want to project like a beast of burden running wild at a crazy party, then you found your scent. It's a perfect scent for Vegas. YOU WILL GET NOTICED!

First impressions. Blind bought it thanks to all the buzz and polarizing reviews. It's very interesting indeed, but not as radical as some of the reviews might suggest. In fact, it is also very pleasant. For me, it is mostly a hybrid of 24 Gold Oud and Lapidus Pour Homme. The opening is very sweet, I get burnt sugar on a woody background, almost gourmand, but not cloying -- that's the 24 Gold Oud part. And if there's any "oud" in it, it's the "designer oud" kind. Not animalic or barnyardy at all. Then come the musky and fruity-floral-green aromatic notes -- that's the Lapidus Pour Homme part. Similarly to the latter, I can't really differentiate between these notes. It's not a sort of rose I've smelled before, and it sure as hell doesn't smell like any tomato. It's more like a dense mishmash of leafy green, fruity and floral notes that give it a lift in a retro masculine fragrance way. It's not identical to Lapidus Pour Homme, but it's got a similar tang to it. Hits you in the face, but you're asking for more. Still, the musk in Lapidus Pour Homme is much more sweaty than here. In fact, this fruity sweet musk is somewhat similar to Montblanc Individuel. Finally, the leather accord appears. It's an old school isobutyl quinoline leather accord similar to Cabochard Gres (EDP) and several Aramis fragrances. So yes, it's a bit ashy or rubbery. I can understand how this could combine with the "gourmand oud" accord to produce a tobacco leaf impression. But I don't really get it. What I find interesting is the interplay between the sweet oriental accord and the fresh green notes. Fortunately, I don't get any vegetal tomato associations. But there is indeed something strange about the green aspect. Almost as if it should rub the wrong way in this context, but it doesn't. I agree with some of the reviewers that if you like Gucci Guilty Absolute or Fahrenheit EDT, you might also like this one -- there's sweetness, some kind of strange freshness, and leather. But it's not animalic or pungent like Kouros, Antaeus or even Lapidus Pour Homme.

For me the light rose and violet floral starts develops into a more dense complex scent. I don't really get any actual leather, more hints of the items you use to treat and create different types of leather, like a tannery, maybe equestrian kit, reminiscent of one my girlfriends when I was much younger, who was a horse rider. Tomato leaf isn't there as a clear note for me, my neighbour grew tomatoes and we'd often chat in his greenhouse and taste the fruits of his pottering about n their, although there's a sweeter leaf pungency that reminds me of more illicit things. Base notes are changing every time I go back, the agarwood transitions in and out, it's complex, the amber, sandalwood and sweetness of jasmine all seem to vye for attention. As for tobacco or ashtray, not sure what ashtrays smell like in other countries, but European ones don't smell pleasant, there's a hint of unburned herbal tobacco right at the tail, but that's about it. On skin, I've had 5 hours comfortably, possibly longer only because the scent was transferred to clothes around my neck, and it's still very potent on the fabric. Overall it reminds me of a masculine version of a perfume my mother wore when I was growing up, expensive, refined, intriguing, and ever so addictive. Who would this suit? Someone confident, who enjoys different olfactory journeys, slightly more mature, 25+, can't really see someone younger choosing it knowingly, more likely to get a comment about wearing their dad's things. Sparingly used it could be office wear, if you know your audience. It's definitely a date worthy wear, women will be intrigued, you will be told you smell good. Get the date wearing something different though 😉 It will be in my rotation, along with the other Rasasi I have, and won't be my last, they have good form for performance and intrigue.

***Update 6 monthd after purchase*** Folks, Even if you got a newer batch of Shurah like I did, just maturate, maturate, MATURATE!! So, when Id first acquired Shurah I have to say that although I thought it smelled FREAKIN' AMAZING and it did have good projection, I was super dissapointed with its longevity bc it only lasted like 6 hours on skin, yet so many reviews claimed Shurah had "Amazing all-around performance." So, Id then put some in a decant to use so that I could store my bottle away in its original box and then in a crate (For preservation.) I used that decant up within a couple weeks and hadnt used my bottle in about 6 months thereafter. Well, I came back to my bottle a couple.werks ago and its become THEE MOST BEAUTIFUL, NUCLEAR BOMB! lol! Id sprayed 2 spritzes on a T-Shirt, wore that shirt after work just around my apt for 2 days, but didnt wash it afterwards just to test how long Shurah would cling to it and I'm telling ya'll, I could still CLEARLY smell those 2 measly spritzes for almost 2 freakin' weeks! What I love about Shurah is that although its so freakin' potent, its super "Wearable" and just smells GREAT! Ive gotten compliments like every time Ive worn it, plus I do belive that it and original dna for Rasadi. So folks, point is DO NOT judge the performance from the initial sprays out of your new bottle! Wear it a few times to allow air into the bottle and then just set ut aside in a dark, dry, climat-controlled spot for atleast a few weeks and then come back to it, the wait is super worth it, oh and (imo) 3 spritzes should be more than enough for a full work shit anf beyond. This is a solid 9 outta 10 scent imo, super unique, masculine and smells FAN-FREAKIN'-TASICO!!!! Oh and whoever tbinks tbis smells.similar to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather is definately on somethin'! 😅🤣

Let’s start with the fact that I personally like it a lot, especially compared to some of the reviews I’ve seen here. It’s a very interesting fragrance to review because it’s really not typical. It’s funny how fragrance lovers are always looking for unique scents and something different, but when they actually encounter one, they tend to pull back. From my experience with this fragrance, it really is very unique, I’ve never smelled anything like it. I understand that it’s not a dupe from this house, and they definitely managed to create something very interesting. It’s so nondupe that many of the reviews here say that nothing smells like it... and in my opinion, that means they did their job. As for the scent itself, I bought it as a blind buy and liked it from the very first second. You definitely can’t guess how it smells just by reading reviews or looking at the notes. Before I checked the notes to know whats going on, it smelled clean to me, almost like laundry detergent or washing powder (in a good way). honestly It feels high quality and not cheap at all (I’m sure many people will disagree with me). I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was priced higher. Excellent longevity and projection. I wear it when I want some variety from my heavier and more expensive long lasting fragrances. I do have to mention that I recommended it to a friend as a blind buy for all the reasons I wrote above, and he didn’t like it at all. I’ve gotten a few compliments and questions about it, but overall I learned to tone down my excitement about it, after realizing that there are definitely people who won’t like it. I still wear it because I don’t think it smells bad at all, but if you want to be 100% safe, it’s better to go with one of the well known designer fragrances rather than taking the risk.

@Wayne2Wheels It was GOOD. 👍 You're right, it was a proper review and an accurate description of this "problem". But I don't know if you've already done this or if you've worked on it. Shuhrah needs some time and patience. 10 - 15 sprays and leave them without the cap for a few days. Then we repeat this procedure. Finally, 3 sprays, mixing well, shaking and a final few sprays. Put the cap on and put it in the cupboard. After 4 - 6 months this fragrance becomes even better, this is the real finale, the true purpose of this great frag.... this is KISMET!!! This is a good perfume from the very beginning, but it can be improved further. Of course, as I write this, I don't know if you haven't already subjected Shuhrah to all these activities. Maybe yes, maybe no. I can't stand rose notes in perfumes, I almost always have a problem with it... but this time I completely forget about it. I usually use heavy, masculine perfumes - animal skin, tobacco, gasoline, asphalt... or old fougere scents, but I have a dozen or so unique scents in my cabinet... just like Rasasi, scents with a different profile... and that's great. Of course, Shuhrah is similar to the other typically masculine fragrances.... but only similar. It's very unique, very unique... much more unique than Fahrenheit or Gucci Guilty Absolute. That's very cheap and that's very good. Masterpiece. I don't care what others think about it, in my opinion this scent is simply captivating, intriguing, addictive... and no guy who has balls, no guy who is confident in his masculinity will be ashamed of it. hello .A very mature and green and relatively complex perfume, if you like men's perfumes from the 70s and 80s, this is for you. I read many comments about this perfume, there is really no consensus. I think it is a smoky, green, floral and soapy perfume. Moist, and It smells like an ashtray. At the beginning, it has an oriental and Arabic theme, but it is not dominant and does not remove its western nature, then it has a clean, luxurious and green soapy feeling, which most users mention. They have said that it smells like tomato leaves. I don't know, but it has a smoky green smell. As it gets to the end, the flowers bloom more and the fragrance becomes more fragrant. sweet. I did not notice anything about leather, but it has a leathery feeling. rich and wealthy Very masculine and very mature. Nothing to complain about. Very good quality, very good price. Very good longevity and spread of smell. 5/5 سلام . عطری بسیار بالغ و سبز و نسبتا پیچیده ، اگر دوستدار عطرهای مردانه دهه ۷۰ و دهه ۸۰ هستید این برای شماست .خیلی از نظرات درباره این عطر خواندم واقعا وحدت نظری وجود ندارد.بنظرم عطری دودی، سبز ،گلدار و صابونی است .مرطوب ، و بوی یک زیر سیگاری میدهد .اوایل تمی عودی و عربی دارد ولی غالب نیست و ماهیت غربی آن را برکنار نمیکند بعد حس و حال صابونی تر و تمیز لوکس و سبز دارد که کاربران اکثر اشاره کرده اند که بوی برگ گوجه فرنگی است .نمیدونم ولی بوی سبز دودی دارد .هرچه به آخر میرسد گلها شکوفا تر میشوند و عطر خوشبو تر میشود . شیرین و خوشایند.چیزی از چرم متوجه نشدم ولی حس و حال چرمی دارد . غنی و ثروتمند . بسیار مردانه و بسیار بالغ .جایی برای ایراد ندارد .کیفیت خیلی خوب ‌قیمت خیلی خوب .ماندگاری و پخش بوی خیلی خوب 💗

به روز رسانی : این عطری هست که نیاز به چندین پشتیبان گرفتن دارد . اگر متوقف شود با قیمتی گران با فروش میرسانند . این همان ویژگی های دهه هشتاد را دارد . الان هوا گرم است وقتی آن را استفاده میکنم بهتر میتوانم ترکیبات آن را شناسایی کنم . بوی سبز اما سبز برگ تیره گوجه فرنگی با هاله ای از چرم و گل و عود . گل و عود عطر را متفاوت تر میکنند و تاثیری در برجستگی برگ گوجه فرنگی و چرم ندارند .اما بوی توتون تازه و مرطوب میدهد. بوی بسیار مردانه . اگر این عطر در دهه هشتاد ساخته شده بود مطمئنا یکی از مشهوترین عطرهای تاریخ میشد . قیمت عالی ، ترکیب عالی . پشتیبان بگیرید.چهار فصل Update: This is a fragrance that needs several backups. If it is discontinued, they will sell it at a high price. It has the same characteristics of the eighties. Now that the weather is warm, I can identify the ingredients better when I wear it. The smell is green but dark green tomato leaves with a hint of leather and flowers and oud. The flowers and oud make the scent more diverse and do not affect the prominence of tomato leaves and leather.It still smells of fresh, moist tobacco. Very masculine smell. There’s a subtle animalic note that adds depth and a touch of wildness, but it’s neither harsh nor overpowering. Longevity is over the average. I get a bold 8 hours on skin. Sillage is striking without being overbearing. This fragrance feels like it was made for those who want something rare and deeply memorable, not the standard crowd-pleasers. For its uniqueness, blending, and performance I give it a solid 9/10 it’s niche, daring, distinctive, and full of character.

Exceptional, unique fragrance. Not for everyone, for sure, but if you're brave enough to try something away from the mainstream, then you'll be greatly rewarded. Shuhrah opens with the greenest of green blasts due to the strong TOMATO LEAF - I'm telling you, here begins an olfactory adventure! Then there's some floral notes with ROSE, a lot of rose. But this is NOT a feminine rose as it is competing with the green tomato leaf. Someone below said it is the most masculine rose in fragrance, they're not far wrong. Next, you get SMOKEY WOODS. Smoky to the point that they reminded my wife of the incense sticks we used to get from Goa, India. Beautiful, intoxicating yet full of smooth smokiness. As the drydown continues, I'm not getting much LEATHER, as listed, but the combination of tomato leaf, rose, woods and smoky incense is producing a leather-like tone. Maybe that's how the leather note manifests itself, a cacophony of all the other notes combined. All in all, I'm very impressed. It's not my favourite scent by any stretch but an exciting addition to my collection that is cheap (£18), long-lasting (8hrs+) and incredibly unique in my fragrance repertoire.

Ive already left a review for Shurah a few months ago. I wasn't too impressed with the longevity back then only bc I'd heard about how seemingly MONSTRUOS it was supposed to be, yet while potent, it'd only last around 5 to 6 hours on my skin, maybe 9 on clothes. Well after "Macerating" for a while, Shurah has most def opened up and is certainly earning that "Monstrous " reputation plus it even smells richer and more complex now than when Id fist sprayed it. It truley lasts all day on skin and for days on clothes. Also, what I like about Shurah is that although its a very, (VERY) strong fragrance, its not really cloying, obnoxious or "Cheap smelling", and really smells great in the air even if over sprayed (a bit). I find that 2 to 3 sprays should getcha through the day, but even at four or maybe 5 sprays, while its pretty strong, it's NOT off putting while also garnering me quite a few compliments. Again, I think its bc it doesn't smell cheap at all. IMO This dna is close to "Niche" bc its so unique, and bc of the superb performance. A 9 outta 10 im my book, and I'm a picky a$$ Mo-Fo.. Blind bought this based only on notes and reviews. For some reason, I expected it to be darker/woodier. But instead, it's super fresh, soapy and powdery. Extremely floral at the beginning, then the sandalwood makes its appearance. I haven't detected any leather notes yet but I only tested it quickly so perhaps it will be more apparent after a few wears. It's super sweet but not cloying at all, it gives off a vibe of being clean and neat. I don't know if it's that unique like some people mention, but I agree that you probably won't find too many people wearing a scent profile like this. It's very vintage. It smells like what my father used to wear when going to church 25 years ago. It's mature but at the same time it's bright enough that it can be worn by pretty much anyone. It seems versatile enough to be a daily driver, as well as ideal for situations where you want to dress up. It's very powerful and can fill a room very quickly, so caution is advised with overspraying and in hot days. Finally, the price is incredible, it doesn't smell cheap or synthetic at all, it's very elegant and powerful, so the price-value relation is great!

This is a tough one describe and I’ve only worn it a couple times so this is my initial impression. First 30 seconds you get this floral sweetness that is bright and pleasant. After that initial blast an earthy green tone like stems and leaves of the flowers comes in. Not the same scent but the green part gave me vibes of Lalique Lion. After a bit an ashy undertone comes in guessing is a combination of the oud and leather. The far dry down gets a little more soapy feel but still has that slight earthiness. I didn’t find it too challenging and wore it to the in-laws for Thanksgiving. When I first put it on my wife walked into the bedroom and asked if I sprayed anything and that it smelled like perfume. So it’s pretty floral at first. I said it was what I was wearing; she responded she liked it and felt she could wear it. After 15 minutes my wife felt it had become more masculine. My daughter also complemented me on how I smelled so it must be a pleasant scent in the air. I wouldn’t be afraid to try it but I do like diversity in my collection. If anything you’re out $12-18 to try out something unique.

Most fragrances that list "tomato leaf" as a note, such as this, Italian Leather, etc are utilizing a synthetic called isobutyl quinoline which smells of leather, vetiver, tobacco, and most importantly in this regard has a green nuance that smells of green peppers/tomato leaves. It is clear that Italian leather, Irish leather, Shuhrah and many others utilize isobutyl quinoline (IBQ) as the core component of their leather accord. Perfumers can either try to blend the green quality of IBQ into the composition and hide it, or turn it into a galbanum accord or something, or they can utilize or even emphasize its unique bitter green aspect and then call it say, a tomato leaf note. Just sharing some information as once you become aware of say an IBQ leather versus a safraliene heavy leather (like Tuscan Leather) it can help you not only understand fragrances better but have an easier time finding fragrances that are similar to ones you like, or avoid say IBQ leathers if they aren't your jam.

Absolutely fantastic fragrance! One of Rasasi's best, for sure. This is not for the novice fragrance fan. This is for the next level, to be able to appreciate what's in this bottle. You have four main facets here: 1. Beautiful rose done in a masculine way 2. Old school, rugged charm as if it were made in the 80's or 90's with slight soapy, inky touches 3. Middle eastern vibes with the rose/oud combo, woody, slightly smokey and 4. The tomato leaf adding that vegetable/tomato garden earthy aspect which may turn some people off. Not me. Imagine walking in a ripe tomato garden with a section of fragrant roses, over a bed of wood chips, and one of those chips is burning. All four facets above blended superbly, but the masculine rose is what speaks to me the most. Strong performance leaves nothing to be desired. Wear it anytime of year (just one spray or two in summer). Cheap price. This one has it all, and it's not mainstream. Let's keep it that way. Enjoy this beauty...IF you can.

Initially, Shurah reminds me of a drier, brighter Tobacco Blaze, but after a couple minutes it starts to turn into this amazingly sexy soap scent, and then it starts developing into a semi-sweet rose, but with woods in the background to hide the rose-ness. The leather is really tame, so no leather couch or luxury car interior scent if you're tired of that intensity. If I smelled this in the wild, I'd have to follow the scent trail to ask the person what they're wearing. The complexity of Shurah and how it develops so much in such a short time is impressive, and more that it can be found for less than $20. That's crazy. Don't dismiss it due to the low price. This smells like at least $100. It's a heavy scent, too, so it's not gonna demand an early respray. I'm wearing Intense Cedrat Boise in one arm and Shurah in the other, and it makes the Mancera fragrance smell like the cheaper one.

The best masculine soapy scent I've ever smelled. Hands down. I bought blind because I was interested in the tomato leaf and rose. What you get is almost a fougère with rose rather than lavender. It is so smooth, clean-yet-sexy. The oud accord is just barely there, bolstering classically masculine applications of sandalwood, musk, amber, and florals, with the typical and relatively perennial leather, moss, and cedar in a way that simultaneously feels old and new. I can only imagine smelling this is what it must have been like to first put one's nose on an 80s classic when it was new and cutting edge. This dances with classicism and avant-gardism in a really brilliant way that can't be understated. I do not typically enjoy fougères and other clean fragrances, even though I have plenty. This, however, takes that framework and does something genuinely interesting with it. Gorgeous.

Shuhrah has this very addictive quality and smell to it, with amazing performance (May 2024 batch). Very unique as well, but not for everybody, especially certain beginners and people under the age of 25 will probably have some issues with this EDP. Btw this has nothing to do with the smell of an actual tomato as most consumers know it, but the tomato LEAF adds a green, herbaceous and slightly earthy note to the fragrance. My otherwise annoyingly picky girlfriend (who owns 150 bottles including 60 niche) was flabbergasted when she smelled this in the air - that's where this one REALLY shines, not so much when you sniff it directly from your skin imo - and I told here I paid 18 Euros for this; she thought it smells very expensive and rich. Where I live in Western Europe you could wear this 10 months a year as long as you adjust the sprays. For the price? Easily a 9.75/10 !

This is a blind buy. Stunning. I smell chamomile in the top notes. This was the fragrance that made me understand and appreciate a well blended rose accord. It's like a clean smooth middle easter perfume made for babies... in a VERY good way. I adore Tobacco Blaze, this is like a fresher and more usable version of it so i'm in love. Also, it haves that same molecule/accord in the base that lasts for days and it's completely addictive and beautiful. Like a soft smooth dry caramelized ash that blends beautifully with my skin (and my partners skin also) . This particular facet lasts for 24hrs plus on my skin. It's one of those scents that sets a mood. I understand why some people hate it. It is very particular and not for everyone. Holy crap this stuff rocks! It's like a lighter(not weaker) middle eastern version of Quorum. So freaking wonderful! Not that it smells like Quorum, but that it's very similar in style. This starts off with a big juicy mossy wet blast of just green notes, and florals. I love that tomato leaf note, but I'm not sure if I can pick out the freesia. I actually had an oil clone of Joop All About Adam and it had a similar tomato leaf note. It smells so wet and wonderfully natural like forest after the rain or something artsy like that. As it dries down it gets much more woody, and a whole lot more leathery, and I can smell some oud in it which gives it a distinct middle eastern vibe. If it wasn't for the oud this would be all 80's powerhouse. This may be my favorite Rasasi that's not a Hawas.

@MrMrBrian Yeah bro I always hear such things too with many perfumes, but as a regular buyer of this amazing perfume I can assure you that it has not been reformulated. I finished my most recent bottle about a month ago and I remember one day I was on my way to the parking lot along with one of my colleagues and I applied it two and a half hours ago as I had meeting at work. So this guy told me that I smelled so good and he wanted to know what my perfume was and he ended up buying it. I was really surprised that it was projecting strongly two hours later even though the weather was so hot and sky was sunny! So yeah in terms of longevity and projection I'm not disappointed. I got myself another bottle last week so I'm gonna unbox it and give it a full wear and see how it goes...

Upon first smell I got this floral sweetness and a slight earthy composition, which I assume is from the tomato leaf. It is an absolutely beautiful fragrance and something about this scent profile is stunning to me. I am happy to see Aqua Regia in the "This perfume reminds me of" because they definitely are very similar. After the opening, it does turn a bit smoky but nothing like an ash tray. It still remains in this beautiful mix of sweetness, slightly earthy and a tad bit smoky. Performance is fantastic and once I got my first bottle, I bought another one. I bought both for under 20 bucks which is insane to me, niche quality with incredible performance and an unbeatable price. This is a unicorn. really nice unique fragrance i absolutely love it cant go wrong with it. Picture a badass guy who doesnt give a f Spicy Floral Soapy Something Chuck Norris would wear. Its raw, wild 1 spray On skin lasts for 8 hours or so projects 4+ hours. On clothes last long time. Its very strong and can get nose bleeding cloying if overspray. i spray 2 times max maybe 3-4 times if youre gonna be outside and want to be loud. dont spray more indoors else its gonna be cloying. Edit : The performance on this improved massively after 2 months. I did 1 spray in the morning on wrist its been 14 hours and i am still getting whiffs of it and can smell it on my wrist like i recently sprayed it. ive been out all day 2 hours bike ride also. For 15$ This is best bang for buck.

An absolute masterpiece. A platonic form rendered into reality - it should be praised along with the classics of masculine perfumery such as Polo Green, Patou Pour Homme, Acqua Di Gio, Brut, Old Spice, Terre d'Hermes, Aventus. Simply one of the most perfect fragrances from top to bottom. Not a single note out of place; harmony and dissonance rendered with absolute precision. Soapy, floral, aquatic, leather, tobacco, green, blue, aromatic, sweet, bitter, caramel, oud, nuanced, elegant, casual, formal... That's not all but I need to catch my breath. It's so much easier to list what Shuhrah isn't - expensive - than to list everything it is. If I was ever forced to pick just one fragrance for the rest of my life I think it would have to be Shuhrah.

I'm not sure why anyone should be warned that this smells bad since I think this smells good... It kinda smells like Drakar noir with a dark earthy/rose note added . If you like barbershop style colognes such as Platinum Egoiste or the mentioned Drakkar Noir, but slightly darker, you may like this as I do. I get bored of the super sweet, gourmand, shower gel scents that dominate the market. I also think Encre Noir Extreme and sport smell great so take my advice with that in mind. I am a 47 yr old male lol. Its super strong, so 3 sprays are plenty to get you through a workday. If you have mostly YSL and JPG's in your collection you may not like this, however if you have some smokey, oudy or fougeres, you will appreciate this. Enjoy

This is absolutely stunning, it's a leather forward green woody scent...so well blended and smooth...elegant...sophisticated. This type of DNA slightly reminiscent of polo green...a real gentleman's scent...I am obsessed with smelling this on a guy's skin...it's perfection right out of the box and I'm sure in a few months will be even more so. I pickup on some earthy nuance on the drydown which rounds this off nicely. So the dominant players of this scent are tomato leaf at the start followed by leather oud and oakmoss and I'm relieved not to smell much of the rose as I'm not a fan of that note. Such a hidden gem might need 10 backup bottles of this beauty. Every guy should have this in their collection. Love.

I wore this today in 95 degree weather and it shone wonderfully all day. The caramelly benzoin, oud and cigarette ash note combined into a beautiful tobacco accord that sang in the heat. A lighter, floral, ethereal tobacco. I think the heat caused those notes to radiate farther than normal which made Shuhrah smell much different than in an air conditioned office. One of the few fragrances - Antidote being the other that readily comes to mind - that expresses very different facets on different wearings, almost feeling like a different fragrance, and yet each unique face it presents is beautiful. If you're going to be outdoors I suggest trying this in the high heat!

Maybe I'm being influenced by the color of the juice but Shuhrah just feels best on a blue sky sunny day. Spring or summer as long as it's not sweltering. Shuhrah comes alive with heat, and it's sweet/soapy/floral aspects dance in the air on such days. Does anyone else feel Shuhrah is best suited to spring and summer, blue sky days? Also, I was trying to place the slightly bitter green berry nuance for the longest time and the other day it hit me so clearly, black currant absolute. Yes, I am quite sure there is a black currant note intertwined with that sort of pineappley lemon freshness. Ah Shuhrah, what a magnificent multifaceted mysterious monster!

Wearing Shuhrah again today and feel I have to write about my experience. Shuhrah is incredibly unique, cheap, and insanely powerful. Only a couple of sprays needed so please beware! There is truly nothing else that smells like this. As much as any (in)decent reviewer might want to tell you Shuhrah has a bit of this, and Shuhrah has a bit of that, there is no other fragrance that is going to give you this warmth and profile. Warning: It’s polarizing and it's not a crowd-pleaser; my wife isn’t a fan and most people won’t be either, but if you want a scent that stands out, this is it. I personally love the stuff but tend to wear it when I'm on my own!

I could bathe in this. The scent is very intoxicating, very similar to its brother Shaghaf pour Homme. Nice floral opening with the freesia and rose. My nose picks up various different notes as the scent wafts around me. Be careful or you can totally blow your nose out with it. The rose cedar musk leather combo is well blended and very old school smelling. The rose is blended so well as to not be outright detectable against the other notes. I'm not sure I would say I can smell the tomato leaf other than just a vegetal feel. Having only wore this for 30 minutes I'll have to see how it develops but so far it's amazing!

Received this perfume as a gift form my in-laws at the start of 2023. I was not particularly impressed (mental rating of 6/10) when I sniffed it at first. But after 2-3 months of it settling down and macerating, I started falling in love with this fragrance. To me, it is a beautiful masculine rose playing with the tobacco leaf, some other florals along with a smooth base of oud and suede-ish leather. A brilliant performer especially in the colder months although I do use this in the summer months as well, but only at night. This (and Rasasi Qasamat Rasana) got my started on my fragrance journey. A 9/10 in my books.

For me, this is one of the best bang for buck fragrances. Extremely versatile; projection and longevity are both incredible. However, the fragrance profile can be divisive, therefore not blindbuy safe. One of my absolute favorites, spanning all price brackets. Stunning $20ish niche. The accord chart has it nailed down for the most part. Extremely aromatic, diffusive and masculine. I would add that there is something of a soapy, fresh dynamic (why I find it to be wearable even in warmer weather, despite the heavier base notes) as well as a hint of smoke. For when you want to smell like a fresh, clean, rugged badass.

Masculine masterpiece. The perfumer for this deserves recognition, it's quite unique. Our members with ME connections should ask Rasasi about this and maybe complete its profile. We don't even have a proper release date. It was launched in 2015 according to data from the web. The creative direction for the brand was historically led by its founder, Abdul Razzak Kalsekar, and later his sons. Rasasi works with large international fragrance houses (like Givaudan, Firmenich, etc.) to create their scents, but in most cases the individual perfumer always remains anonymous :(

Fragrances like these are why I love perfumery. This is well-priced, it performs excellently, and it's elegant. This is such a masterclass in how businesses should be releasing quality fragrances. What a masterpiece from Rasasi. This is such a high-quality, elegant scent for an amazing price. This smells summery; it's floral with green, soapy notes. I get some spice, rose, and woody notes as well. The tomato leaf comes out clearly at first, making this such a unique scent. Elegant, unique, understated. This is all around amazing. Just got this based off friend's recommendation. IT IS SUPER GOOD!! and the price is really really cheap for its quality. Opens up with soapy floral accord and dries down into slightly sweet smoky leathery accord. Good thing is the floral note isn't feminine at all. The performance is also damn good, it's a room filler for sure. The bottle design is simple yet solid, the atomizer is also great. I wonder if Dior had released this with $150 price tag, people would definitely hype it up LOL PS : Gatekeep this! HAHAHA

soapy, tomatoes, sugar cane, smoke. these are the 4 words that come to my mind. this isn't offensive scent, its versatile, not for high heat. smells expensive than it is, got it for 13$ in dubai sale lol. this smells like a gentleman in suit about 35+ years of age who is a badass and chill vibe, kind of like john wick.. dont overspray or spicy notes gets cloying so about 1-2 sprays should be good MAX 3. sugar in this isnt warm or cloying like vanilla or tonka beans.

This is my second, maybe third review of this fragrance. Wearing it today and man, when the weather is just right and your body temperature is also just right this fragrance is magic. So many layers, transitions... For those that this works for, we are the lucky ones. Truly a fragrance that you don't care if anyone likes it because this really is for you to enjoy. A true niche fragrance from a house mostly known for clones. At a price that is just insane.

Decided to clear out every middle eastern in my collection, as my feelings and opinions have changed about them. Shuhrah is the last one that I just can't (and won't) let go of! Truly unlike anything else I've smelled. Not a clone, not trying to border something else, not overly obnoxious with Saffron/Oud. The rose is pleasant and masculine! While I won't be buying any more middle eastern; I certainly might buy a backup bottle of Shuhrah!

Guys, this does not smell like cigarettes, ash, drunk guy or whatever some people talk about. Maybe the 2020 incident broke many people's olfactory senses. This smells sweet, vegetal, floral, fresh, leathery, has a great projection and lasts long. Great quality for great price. Safe blind buy imo, and could easily be a signature scent. Perfumes like this one makes me less mad on this perverse industry. Good job, Rasasi. Thank you.

i wore this today, decent spray in the morning on skin n clothes. beatiful niche type scent, it survives Indonesian heat and humidity, even after 4 hrs still giving loud projection..longevity is eternal, even after shower i can still smell it, not kind of fade away scent but still there on my skin. Washed my shirt and hang to dry it, i can still smell the scent together with smell of the soap. Simply amazing.

it's a great scent. for sure, everyone may notice your presence. but please avoid on summer or high hot days. you will like to have a cup of coffee in winter morning and take a orange/lemon juice in summer noon. so, coffee or lemon juice, they are innocent, and have no fault. but time and season make their demands. here's so. its for winter. performance high/strong. i've used this. great

Fresh, soapy, spicy, smoky, woody, floral. It smells so clean. This cheapie is a beast mode too. It'll stay on clothes for days. Sillage is nuclear, so spray this sparingly. It has the niche type of quality smell - almost. This isn't blind buy safe though. Test it first. It takes time to get used to, but once your nose gets adjusted to the scent, it will smell heavenly.

Eau De Treasure nailed it. This is not for the gourmand crowd. This is for people that like old school chypre/fougere scents, and aromatic Middle Eastern vibe... I was also really impressed by the rose in this composition, it's the manliest rose I've ever smelled, in total synchrony with the tomato leaf. This is a very good fragrance. Different, I don’t think it’s duping anything, it actually smells niche. I’m a girl and I really love this. I think it’s truly unisex. To me it’s fresh but still woody and complex and kind of deep at the same time, many facets. I love this type of intriguing DNA 😍 And the price is unbelievable for what it is.
