Super 90s smell to me and very playful. Takes me back to when I was very young and the air freshener packets my mom would put in our bathroom, in a good way. This is a bit of a wildcard in my collection. Definitely leans feminine, but I don’t mind wearing it! While it kinda works better as a room scent, I’ll still wear it myself. I constantly catch myself sniffing my arm while I smell it. The ingredients smell quite quality. I’ve tried most of the collection this is from. Vines, Waves and this were my favorites. Wish I would’ve bought Waves, too. Got it super discounted. Maybe less than $50 for the 100mL from an authorized retailer.

I adore this collection, can RdF please resurrect these scents?! Delightfully tangy, salty scent that makes me long for a beach vacation.

I'll be honest. I got this for the beautiful bottle a few years ago. Thankfully the contents aren't too shabby either. Shells has a lot of food notes listed, but it's not a gourmand. I get fruity notes and passion fruit in the opening, and then salty beach vibes, woodsy and somewhat sweet and floral, like drinking fruit-flavored sparkling water in a wooden bungalow after a day on the beach. I'm not entirely sure why or what I would compare it to, but it does feel a bit generic. I don't know exactly when I would wear Shells which is why my bottle is still pretty much full. Like others mentioned it fades after a few hours.

It's a pleasant scent that starts of tart and fruity. I can easily pick out the li hing mui and lilikoi. It fades really quickly into a subtle sweet vanilla-sandalwood. On skin, it fades after an hour or two. On clothes, I can still smell it after several hours. I could still detect a faint sweet smell on my shirt the next day. I was hoping for an in your face li hing mui scent, since the real thing is so pervasive that it fills up the space around it. Instead, it is very subdued. Someone would have to come in for a hug to notice it.

A delicate, light fresh floral- I would wear this in warm weather- very beachy. I love salty florals such as Victor & Rolf Salty Flower, and it’s a bit like that but a fresher floral- I have never smelled the flowers this is evoking, but it makes me want to smell them! Different from other florals I have and I’m tempted to get a bottle.

Objectively this isn’t a bad scent, but it’s not worth its asking price. It’s pleasant - teak wood, salt and macadamia nut primary on me. Definitely a marine scent, and I don’t get the fruity notes. However, longevity is bad and it’s pretty linear.
