Cigar Blue Label

The Orange blossom is pretty pronounced in the beginning thus this becomes quite floral and a little soapy to my nose. You must be someone who enjoys this type of fragrance... Think in the same vein as le mal or even reflection man but certainly not as good as either. This smells better than what it cost and for the price you might as well grab it! I own over 100 fragrances so I wouldn't reach for this often but I could see the appeal on occasion. This outperforms its price point and the dry down is soft with hints of sweetness. This fragrance definitely has depth to it. Remember I think you must like florals and softer scents to like this one but anyways I quite like this cheapie and I would recommend it for sure. Update: as this fragrance dryed down it became really suffocating and overbearing. Maybe you like beast performers like this... to me it lacks a bit of finesse but still worth it for the price.

How Remy Latour does what it does for this price will always be a mystery to me. The entire Cigar range is a masterpiece of varying proportions. This is nothing like Silver Scent, which is harsh and screechy and proper grape soda like and I say this as an admirer of Jaques Bogart One Man Show range. This here is softer, more blue and has more of a plum-lavender vibe to it. Significantly more floral which gives it a classy and mature touch. As someone who does not like blue fragrances at all, this is something I like wearing. Go for it if you want to smell fresh but not like the typical shower-gel fresh.

Another blind buy that was an absolute home run. Sillage is very good and longevity is excellent. Smells great and projects very well. Great addition to my collection and I am very happy with it.

Versatile fragrance.. have silver scent's DNA but it is different. Fresh fruty and little musk on this fragrance. Easy to wear. 8/10 over all score for me. Thanks

I have owned this (1 bottle only) for years since 2021 if I'm not wrong. I'll start by saying it's an elegant and vintage scent, but the alcohol opening is very sharp with a smooth drydown. Focusing on the scent profile after the drydown here: It is without a question one of the most masculine fragrance I have come across, in a vintage manner. The plum is a blast and smooth, the musky-soapy-sweet blossom is also present, while the generic citrus and lavender genre is in the background connecting the dots to form a sophisticated line. It is undoubtedly a masculine-vintage-wood-musk combo that makes it unique and intresting. On top of that it performs quite well for the price too, which is a plus. I extremely rarely wear it anymore, but for the cologne collection starter me this was a win. And I will give it the respect It deserves to this day.

This fragrance has the same DNA as Jacques Bogart Silver Scent/Silver Scent Pure/Silver Scent Intense, etc. It has the grape soda vibe given off by a strong, sweet pineapple/grapefruit citrus, geranium and orange blossom. It is extremely synthetic and comes off with a chemical piercing sharpness that doesn't tone down for at least an hour. After that hour, the chemical piercing smell changes slightly to become a piercing floral synthetic chemical scent. Oh, did I mention that its synthetic and chemical smelling? Now, having said these horrible things about this scent, I will still wear it. I will add one spray along with a warm weather scent to give it a pop, and add longevity to an otherwise boring, non-performing blue type scent. It is nuclear on skin or clothes. If you have any of the Bogart scents I mentioned above, you don't need this.

For an extreme cheapie it is just fine. A little sweet and blue scent. Not a lot of depth but gets the job done when you want to smell fresh without wasting a better fragrance. I would give it 6hours +/- on skin and 8hours or more on cloth. It is good for a on-the-go traveling frag.

A better quality, but less performing version of silver scent. Ignore the notes. Mainly grape soda scent on a blue base background.

Finally... 90% Jacques Bogart Silver Scent, same grape soda, less sweet, less longevity on skin, but pretty good on clothes.

I’ve smelled hundreds of fragrances and this is without question the most synthetic smelling one I’ve ever come across. Upon first spray you are overwhelmed with a ton of fruit, presumably from the plum, and orange blossom. The lavender is present as well. This is in the same vein as JB Silver Scent, but the grape soda vibe is toned down and replaced with plum/berries. I actually like this better than Silver Scent because it’s not as piercing. The opening is terribly sweet and synthetic, but the dry down is much more pleasant if you can get past the first couple hours. Has great performance and really sticks to you throughout the day. I would say it’s more suited for Spring/Fall and I’d avoid it in high heat as it would be way too cloying. It’s a super cheapie, and to put it bluntly, it smells like it. With that said, not the worst fragrance I’ve ever smelled, and for $13 it may be worth a try if you really like this type of fragrance profile.

Remy Latour Cigar Blue Label..... ...it is a very nice addition to the cigar lineup of Remy Latour. I do believe however that it was released earlier and not in 2020. Is it synthetic? Yes, because ALL fragrances are. Does it smell synthetic? No, because it is impossible. It might have a harsh opening due to the acidic grapefruit and bergamot but after a while it settles down to a floral plum with a herbal touch which many describe as the grape soda vibe. All that is sitting on a creamy base of tonka and musk. Luckily the sprayer works well which is not always the case .
