Anouchka

So I took a leap of faith, and blind bought this from an Etsy seller. This perfume is from the same house, Revillon, that created Detchema which I also blind bought a while ago solely because it’s the perfume Mia Farrow wore in Rosemary’s Baby! Wow. Anouchka is so pretty! I’m surprised at how modern it seems, even with the powdery aldehydes it contains. It’s this feminine white floral laced with honey and soft fruitiness, all while being nestled in a sensuous base. I’m definitely getting the coriander notes, too, which gives it an earthy vibe. This is gonna be fun to wear. Not a soul is gonna recognize it!

It is a pleasant sweet floral with green notes to tone down a bit the honey and the flowers sweetness to my nose . This is a very pleasant tuberose ! Much fresher and cleaner than in Versace Blonde . I do not perceive a strong chypre accord although a lovely oakmoss is present . Aldehydes are not strong in the opening : no blast and I appreciate this . It starts with bergamote and a minute after I perceive flowers and green notes as well . It is a very longlasting fragrance and has an excellent sillage ! It makes me think of a meadow filled with flowers and dew and it has a deeply relaxing effect on me . Perfect after evening shower ! The color shade which could resume this fragrance is mid tone chartreuse green .

This is a very interesting fragrance. Like another reviewer mentioned, it's wonderful on the skin. Opening is a little strong for me, but it dries down to a beautiful sweet, balanced scent. It's an oriental fragrance to me. The name, the letters on the box, everything looks oriental. I used to have this perfume many years ago and suddenly I remembered it watching tv. I couldn't believe I could still find for this price. If you like sweet, oriental and very interesting and distinctive scents, give this one a try.

I got a small 3ml bottle. When you first put it on, the tart aldehydes, green notes and spices stimulate your nose, but as it dries down a gentle floral note emerges. It's a soft, cool and elegant floral scent rather than a warm one, like sunlight filtering through the trees as you watch it in the shade. The lingering scent is a slightly powdery, soft and sweet.

I once bought this as a present for my Mom, about 5-6 years ago, I think. For me, the scent is quite amazing, fresh and sweet at the same time. For an exquisite lady... IMO, this one has something in common with J'Adore but is even more interesting.
