Insurrection II Pure

"A pineapple-green apple-bergamot triple vodka cocktail on the rocks, with a drop of vanilla. Best enjoyed on a hot summer day." If one observes closely at the scents by Reyane Tradition, he would realise that a lot of them resemble those by perfumes from other houses. Indeed, Reyane has somewhat formed a reputation or sorts of creating "clones", fragrances that copy others and sold at the fraction of their prices. One of their most well-known selection is Insurrection II Pure (IIP), a summer fragrance that grabbed my attention the moment I smelled it for the first time. The opening is a blast of citrus from three different fruits: pineapple, green apple and bergamot. Sweet and zesty, IIP clearly declares upfront that it is a fragrance best to be savoured in hot climates. Indeed, this fragrance is made to be savoured in the sweltering heat. The interesting part happens 30 minutes to 1 hour upon spraying on skin. As the sweet citrus notes quietly dissipates, hints of leather gradually appears. It's not the pungent type you get from the scent of a leather sofa; it's more of the smoky type that's more subtle and pleasant, and there's also this boozy vodka-like scent in there. The combination of citrus and leather notes renders the fragrance more appealing to the male wearers, although I can see how female wearers would be attracted to wear it too. The longevity and sillage are very commendable. It goes well up to 12 hours even on a hot day, and the trail it leaves is very noticeable. It's safe to say that this perfume is meant to withstand the sweat that naturally comes on hot summer weathers. Now, here comes the big question: does it smell like Creed's Aventus? IIP is particularly known to be a clone of Aventus because of the striking resemblance in its fragrance. Indeed, it really does but there are some fine differences. IIP starts strong with its conspicuous sweet-citrus opening and then quickly dissipates to reveal the leather aspect. Aventus however, has a very steady and consistent longevity from the opening to the drydown. Its leather note is also more pronounced. In a way, Aventus is the much refined original in comparison to IIP and between the two, I definitely think Aventus is better. So why did I end up buying a bottle of IIP instead? It's simply because of the price. As much as I love Aventus, the price is too extravagant for me. It definitely goes beyond my pricing threshold and I decided that it makes more sense to go with a very similar-smelling fragrance that is dirt cheap than go for a Creed. For someone who lives in a year-round hot tropical climate, I don't want to feel guilty spraying more on myself every time the heat gets unbearable. IIP is a sure bargain for anyone who would love to add to their collection a masculine citrus fragrance with an interesting twist. It's one that I can wear guilt-free to make my day a little more tolerable.

After another year of becoming more familiar and experienced with frags I wanted to come back and re-review this gem ! Out of all 80 fragrances I own this isn't the best fragrance I own but as far as stvalue goes this hands down is the best fragrance !ss Yes, it's very similar to Aventus and out of all the Aventus clones I own this is the onlywe 1 that fools my girlfriend into thinking I'm wearing Aventus. However,there are some differences as I'd say this smells 80% like Aventus. The differences are that in the opening is when it smells the most like Aventus but in the opening of Pure it's a little more synthetic and peppery whereas Aventus is a lot smoother and the pineapple note is a lot more natural. In the mid and drydown is where Pure starts becoming it's own fragrance as the pineapple mixes with vanilla making this slightly creamy. Personally the drydown of Pure is my favorite part of this fragrance. Also because of the drydown having a good deal of vanilla it makes it good for the colder months and because of that I tend to use Aventus for the warmer months and Pure for the colder months. Performance on this is great for the price you pay ! I get 2 hours of projection (and very good projection) and this lasts 8-12 hours on my skin. Overall rating --- 9 out of 10 ! Amazing smell that gets compliments,projects well,lasts a long time and for the price this is a true steal !!! Only knock on this is no it's not as good as Aventus but it's damn close for a fraction of the price and sometimes the pepper in the opening makes me sneeze

I have never tried Creed's Aventus, as like a lot of other people, I'm too stubborn to spend the extra money on niche fragrances. I've heard many people say this is the closest thing to the critically acclaimed Aventus, and with the price-point, I had to buy this. Firstly, I would like to say I personally love the appearance of the bottle, and box it comes in. Both look very elegant, classy, & sophisticated. You definitely wouldn't think this is a $25 fragrance. The best packaging I've seen a fragrance come in. This is an amazing scent. The opening is a beautiful mix of pineapple and spices, which gives it a smoky/sweet type of smell. As the scent dries down, the vanilla and musk begin to show, which really gives this scent a nice, warm feeling. I think this can totally be worn year-round. The projection on this is fantastic. When I got this, I did 2 sprays on my neck to test it out, and a relative could smell it at the doorway to my room, probably an hour or so after applying. After 10 hours, I could still smell hints of it on me, so I'd put the overall longevity in the 8-10 hour range. For roughly $25, this is practically a steal. A great scent with great performance & versatility. Like I said before, I believe this can be an all-year scent, and I also see this being perfect for any occasion. My only complaint with this, is that I wish it came in a bigger bottle. I feel like I'm going to burn through this 3.0oz bottle pretty fast. Maybe in the future they'll release a 200mL version. This fragrance gets a huge thumbs up from me.

So after spending a year with this scent and trying out all the Aventus clones I figured id have to re-review this stuff. Still to this day I love this juice as its a close replica of Aventus for only a fraction of the price !!! Dont let the price fool you as this stuff is liquid gold ! Also its an Aventus clone but its also different enough to be a great fragrance on its own. Id even go as far as saying this could pass as being an Aventus Sport ! For those that havent tried Aventus ill just briefly describe this fragrance on its own. This is a very appealing,fruity due to the pineapple,creamy due to the vanilla,and slightly spicy and woody scent that despite the price is very well blended. Caution though, this does open up slightly synthetic but give this time as the mid and drydown are divine ! Now compared to Aventus id say its 80 % Aventus. The main differences being are that this has more vanilla in the drydown and its not as natural as Aventus. The closest clone to Aventus is Armafs Club De Nuit. However, even though Armaf is closer in scent Pure has surprisingly gotten more compliments ! HAHA, and the compliment factor on this thing isnt as good as Aventus but its actually not too far off as ive received many compliments with this. Performance on this also very good as it lasts on me 6-10 hours and actually has good projection as well Overall rating.... 8.75 out of 10 !!!

Not to be confused with Insurrection Pure. The first one, that is. I've never smelled Aventus. But I appreciate Insurrection II Pure more and more, apply after apply. I appreciate it especially after I tested Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man. Compared to CdNIM, Insurrection II Pure is softer and gentler. I really like... no, I really LOVE the drydown: it's a birchy smoky goodness. Vanilla is also smelling nicely compared to CdNIM where I can't smell vanilla at all. The opening: meh, it's okay but I'm not in love with it. To me opening is not that important anyway, with any fragrance. I use one or two sprays and it seems to be enough. The sillage is something between soft and moderate. I don't want to make people nauseous around me but I'm pretty confident I could spray even four times and wouldn't annoy anyone for example in an office environment. It doesn't project too long. Maybe one or two hours. But the scent will stay on my skin for about eight hours. A travel atomizer comes handy. This could work nicely in winter time too. I'll see that next...

Firstly, let me begin by saying this is not Aventus, it's performance is not Aventus and it's scent is not Aventus though it does share similarities. But that being said, this is still a great fragrance by itself! This fragrance has just enough difference to put it outside of that clone bracket that people like to put cheaper fragrances in. It's fill with pineapple, lime and apple on the top notes and drys down to a birch, musk, tropical fruits and vanilla. It's very fresh, similar vibes to what Creed creates but enough of a difference. If you like Aventus, this is for you. If you don't want to spend £170 for 50ml of Creed just yet, try this first! This will give you an idea of where Creed took Aventus, not the full picture but an idea and at a fraction of the price. I hadn't smelled this stuff in YEARS until recently, and I still contend that it's the greatest smelling men's cologne for the money. It's like $22, are you kidding me?? Sure, if you pick it apart you can smell that it's "cheap", but at a glance or just in quick passing, it's quite amazing. It's sharp and clean, a little fruity-sweet that gives it a very modern twist, but there's also an underlying old-school cleanliness to it. It really doesn't compare to Aventus; for that, look at Club De Nuit Intense. What this is, in my opinion, is an obvious cheap spinoff of the fruity-sweet genre of colognes like Aventus, but with a twist of generic aquatic cleanliness a'la Green Irish Tweed or Cool Water. I seriously need to buy my dad a bottle of this for Father's Day, probably my brother too. I mean, for $22 a bottle you can practically afford a bottle for every Dad you know, and they're sure to like it!

Aventus clone??? I do not own Creed Aventus in my collection so I cannot tell you how this compares to Aventus.. But, as a fragrance on its own, this thing kicks serious butt! The presentation is bar none the nicest for its price range.. With that said the opening is very nice.. I get a blast of citrus (pineapple, bergamot).. This opening stays throughout the life of the fragrance., Then the smoky birch comes into play, but the smokiness isn’t as intense as CDNI (which I do own).. Now, comparing this to CDNI, I enjoy this much more than CDNI.. The smokiness in CDNI darkens the fragrance where this is a lighter version.. I get very good longevity and projection out of this one.. This one gets a ton of compliments.. If you are looking for a bargain and a great blind buy, Insurrection II Pure is a great option.. Rating 9.1/10 One of the best bargain scents

Every year for Christmas my dad goes down to the cheap fragrance stand in the middle of mall and gets me some weird knock off ill never use; that was not the case with this fragrance. I received this about 5 years ago and its garnered me compliments every single time i wear it. Its such a unique experience upon first sniff, the spicy birch notes are what make this fragrance so interesting i think. In warmer weather i also find my self picking up some fresher eucalyptus notes. Its pleasantly sweet and deeply woody, but very mature and bold at the same time. I dont usually wear cologne, but this rich smelling cheapie is the exception. I also feel that this fragrance is pretty reactant to skin chemistry and manifests/evolves differently depending who its on. While this smells very good on me, i find it smells next level AMAZING on my partners ivory skin.

I'm just a regular guy. I've never smelled Aventus, but this juice smells like a man. If the human male had a scent, this would be it. There are many 10/10s out there for versatility. Well, this one goes to 11. When I first took this out of the box and sprayed it, I IMMEDIATELY thought that this is something my dad wore. I still don't know if that's the case, but it runs through my mind every time. Longevity is 24h+ on my skin. Just crazy good. Imagine: The life of the modern man summarized in a fragrance. Boy, Teen, Bachelor, Husband, Grandfather - a family man. We all start off a little sweet and fruity - jovial and carefree; but in time, we're all man, and that's what counts. Think: Masculine, Balanced, Unique, Permeating, Clean Overall: 9/10 - This one goes to 11.

I recently got the new Le Parfum version and here's my take: It smells very nice specially in the dry down. very close to aventus. I also got a 2017 CDNIM and I prefer Inrurrection over it. they smell 85% simillar but armaf is somehow 2dimensial in the dry down. it's just smoky/lemony. but Insurrection has more depth. it's a bit creamier and richer and not as synthetic. i was expecting this to be fresh fruity soft. something like vibrant leather. but I was wrong. It's got good amount of woods and vanilla that gives it depth. performance is about the same as my CDNIM which is good but not beast mode either. got a compliment after 4 hrs. I really like it. the sport version is also very nice and not redundant to have both.

At $20 this is absolutely worth a blind buy. The scent is intoxicating and I could not stop smelling myself. Do yourself a favor and add this scent to your collection. Also people say the drydown of this scent is muskier than CDNIM and Aventus, but it's more birch in my opinion. The only downside is that it only lasts up only 6 hours, before it dies down completely (skin and clothes). Buy this AND CDNIM, both are amazing, but this definitely has a more pleasant (fruitier) opening while CDNIM has a complex drydown that is amazing and lasts much longer. If this lasted longer for me it would be an easy 10/10, however for lack of performance it still gets an 8/10 for me.

Folks, don't be put off by a fragrance house that does homage scents to other modern classics. This stands on it's own with such a delicious opening and quality longevity. I won't even mention the name of the other that gets said so much, but I simply love this one for what it is. The bottle presentation is beautiful, however the cap fits awkwardly. I can layer this one with several fragrances of similar DNA for some amazing results. Aside from layering, this one is strong on it's own. I hate that it has to live in the shadow of the unmentioned fragrance but I will give it honor for what it is and what it does. This one will remain in my collection for sure.

Ok before you decide to buy this there are only two things you should know. It's not Aventus. It's performance is lacking in that category. But the second thing you should know is that it's still a GREAT fragrance on its own. If you like Aventus you will love this for the price alone. But its not a substitute. It's stands alone as a wonderful scent filled with pineapple and red apple goodness drying down to a birchy woody vanilla with some other tropical fruits mixed in. Very fresh and invigorating and superior to many other fresh frags out there that are going for double or triple the price of this one. GET THIS NOW!!!!

I purchased this fragrance about 2 weeks before I bought a bottle of Aventus. Eery how close together these are. Aventus lasts longer and projects better but it's hard to fight this price point. Not bang on and not as well performing as Creed but for 10% of the cost, it's a no-brainer. Even if you arent on the hunt for a budget Aventus, pick up this fragrance! Completely worthwhile. Only issue I had is that for the first week I wore it, it seemed to trigger my migraines to the point where I had to wash it off but that seems to have passed so it may have just been an adjustment phase, rather than allergic reaction.

For me, this is the best perfume in my collection. At first, not so much, i bought my bottle about a year ago; i didn't think much of it then. Then WOW, one year later i smelled it again and it is a killer. I'd not like to compare this to aventus, they're two different fragrances but for me this one is way better, maybe ive just smelled bad batches of aventus. This ages beautifully, buy a bottle and a year later it turns into gold. It smells way better over time, a new bottle still smells a little synthetic but the smell blends beautifully over time. This is an amazing blind buy and super inoffensive

This has actually been my most worn fragrance of the summer. It's great for the day or night and I can honestly say that you could pull it off year round. It's definitely on the lighter/fresher side in comparison to something like Club de Nuit Intense Man, but you still get a solid and unmistakable woody birch note that makes this fragrance so enjoyable in my opinion. I have never smelled Aventus but I'm confident that this is an awesome scent in its own right. The performance could be better, but overall the scent, price, and versatility make this a clear winner.

I haven't put my nose to Aventus yet but if it smells anything like this then I can see why so many people in the fragrance community are raving over it! Off the top I can smell the pinapple and apple with a hint of birch. The fruitiness is simply intoxicating to my nose. The performance is great as well lasting eight hours on my skin with moderate projection. I think this is a versatile fragrance but it would be perfect in the Summer. I consider this to be one of the best cheapies on the market. Feel free to blind by this and you will not be disappointed!

This is pretty similar to Aventus in the opening, but it evolves along a different, although parallel, road. It's much more aqueous than Aventus on my skin, and a bit less smoky. The birch note is pretty prominent. After a while it calms down and gets very grassy, much like Green Irish Tweed on other people (GIT on my skin turns into a hot mess that smells like Play-Doh and lawn clippings). It evolves through the Aventus/GIT combo into a nice, fresh, woody drydown. Long story short, it smells great! Buy a bottle and try it yourself. It's only $25.

A fruity-citrusy pineapple 🍍/woody scent. It is blended fairly well. The bergamot/pineapple is prominent at the beginning but dries down with to a woody/birchy scent. The fruity-citrusy scent hangs around through the fragrance. I can also smell a little vanilla note in the base. It last 7+ hours on my skin. It does last longer on clothes or if you layer it with Iso-e-super. I will let it sit and macerate for a few months and see if it improves toward the longevity. This fragrance is definitely in the Creed Aventus vein. I am enjoying it so far. 👍

This is one of my favorites in my collection. I don't own Aventus and have never smelled it so I can't compare. I love the opening blast of pineapple and green apple. Fruity but not overpowering. You get a slight woodsy smell in the dry-down, but very subtle. Remains more fruity throughout to me. Projects ok on my skin for first couple of hours at arm's length. Lasts on my skin about 6 hours. Great smell overall. I'll never spend $300-$400 for Aventus, so I'm happy with this fragrance. I give it an 8/10.

This is such a solid Aventus clone for the money. I would compare it to a fresher, fruitier, musky batch of Aventus, whereas Club de Nuit Intense Man is a more smoky batch. I still consider CDNIM to be the best Aventus clone. This is a great work Aventus alternative to me. I try to save my pre reformulation CDNIM for better occasions. Good performance, 8hrs longevity for me, good projection.. Definitely worth buying in my opinion for a fresher Aventus alternative. Can't go wrong for the price.

The biggest difference in aventus and insurrection is the price point. Seriously, this is about as close to an aventus clone as you'll find. I have a small bottle of aventus, and decided to buy this one based on reviews and the low price point. This is about 85% similar in my opinion. If you are on a budget but want the aventus feel, then this is a no brainer. Honestly, I'll have a hard time forking over the cash again for Creed with the knowledge that Insurrection smells so similar.

Aventus is great. Insurrection II Pure is very good.The opening is sweet like canned pineapple. The birch note is very synthetic. As its own scent, pure is great, not even for the money, just good. I have had Aventus that was fruitier, and Pure models that. I have had Aventus that is smokier, and Armaf Club de Nuit Intense is like that, just more like a smoky hard candy, which is awesome. Pure is cleaner and fun. It is a great summer scent. Pure is a strong like for me. bargain!

Never worn or smelled Aventus before. But if it opens like this, ew. BUT: even though the opening is quite harsh & has that vibe of fresh-shave smells, the dry down is PHENOMENAL it's down right addicting. I really want to smell myself the whole day because of that lingering trace. Phenomenal scent for $20! Also, let's not forget the PRESENTATION too. That box is an EXPERIENCE. How Reyane Tradition manage all this for that price? I don't know. But I'll rebuy this gem 100% :D

Never smelled Aventus, I will come back and edit this review if I do. But independently, this fragrance is incredible. It's an herby peppery smokey citrus scent, maybe reminiscent of burnt pineapple with pepper. Longevity is Great sillage is moderate. When it settles, it settles into a nice calmer citrus (the initial is VERY SHARP), some of the hints of pepper but that is more muted too, resting on a tone of leather to me. I love it.

This is a scent that I generally wear to the gym or if I'm going to be out somewhere for an hour or two, because that's about as long as it lasts on me. The scent is arguably better than CDNIM, but the performance is seriously lacking. This one projects for about 45 minutes to an hour before becoming a skin scent on me. Definitely a nice smell, but lacking some firepower. You could classify this as "Aventus light" or "Eau d'Aventus".

I bought this because there were some notes in it that reminded me of Aventus, and I wanted a good clean fruity scent that I could use everyday and enjoy at the office without using up my 4 oz bottle of Creed Aventus. This has some Fruity notes in it, but it also has some notes in it that remind me of Versace Signature Pour Homme, which is a very clean fresh smelling. For the price this is a great deal. Nice bottle, great scent.

I feel like this Colonge smells more like Creed Aventus than CDIM, but the performance is not as good as CDIM. As far as Quality it smells better blended than CdIM. I always gets compliments with this one. If you want a close smell to Aventus , this is the best bet.But I feel like Do Not Go heavy in the summer time because of the Vanilla and Oakmoss can be a little heavy other than that 10/10. #1 CREED AVENTUS CLONE PERiOD.

Most people complain about the poor performance and weak silage. Perhaps because of my skin, or the early batch which I have several bottles (4) of this Aventus-style fragrance, it has an excellent longevity of 10-12 hours and a very strong sillage. This scent honestly intoxicates me; I feel kind of dizzy wearing it, and it is one of my 10/10 fragrances. All this for a very affordable price.

Okay, I am changin my review of this after a few times of wearing it. At first I thought it’s a little too sweet for me to be a good Aventus clone, and I usually prefer Armaf CDNMI, L'Aventure and Afnan Supremacy. But now I love Insurrection II Pure, too. Yes, it starts sweeter than the others, but the drydown is quite birchy and smokey. It stands on its own and is great.

Incredible smell regardless of what it's trying to clone. To me this is a much fresher and less harsh version of Mont blanc Legend intense and Al haramain laventure. I get pineapple like crazy and some apple then citrus in the drydowns with a come and go smoke that isn't overwhelming. Lasted about 4h with 2 sprays. I plan to carry this to work since its so affordable

Yes, it smells like Aventus to the point that it can be called a clone. However, instead of spending this review going on how similar it is - or isn't - to Aventus, let me just say that this is great fragrance in it's own right. fruity opening with a nice dry down. Great scent at a great price. Love this!

I got Insurrection II Pure as a gift from one of my clients. It is very nice at first spray with pineapple, apple and citrus. I have never sampled Aventus so I cannot compare it like other reviewers. I think it is a very nice fragrance for hot summer days. It has great longevity for the price.

I smell Bleu De Chanel. I own Aventus and this smells nothing like real Creed Aventus. It does however smell VERY similar to my Bleu De Chanel. Now if you want to compare a Reyane Tradition to Creed Aventus, then I suggest you try Reyane Insurrection II Dark that smells 90% like Aventus.

Hi everyone! I am new here and into fragrances overall. I have both the EDT and I just got my bottle of EDP. I have been playing around with Insurrection II Pure EDT by itself and layering it with Lattafa Al Dur Al Maknoon. Let's just say I am currently obsessed with the EDP version.

I bought this because I smelled a trail of fragrance on a customer and he told me what he was wearing. Got it for $21.00 and on me it smells just like Electimus Imperium! So if you want Imperium but don’t want to buy with that price tag get this! Plus the bottle is pretty.

After several tests I came back for a new comment. The closest to Aventus I've ever met. I own both perfumes. Excellent longevity at a good price. My wife has used it several times and, in my opinion, it is a unisex perfume. Worth knowing. I like a lot! Affirmative!

An admirable clone of Aventus... 90% of the fragrance for 10% of the money. Insurrection focuses on the softer parts of Aventus whereas Club de Nuit Intense (CdNI) focuses on the smokier parts of Aventus. I slightly prefer CdNI but both are great.

Recently got this and have only worn it 3 times but have gotten compliments Everytime! On my skin is a little less sweet so I do a half spray on my shirt and get more of the sweetness. Great blind buy in my opinion..for me at least.

If you do not compare this with Aventus, it is quite a nice scent on its own merits. Well worth owning for the price. It is wonderful for the three warmer seasons. It is not an Aventus killer. It is simply a joyful scent. Enjoy it.

This juice is pretty good. Its longevity is amazing, a good 12+ hours; even after taking a shower it's scent still resonates. A definite must buy coz of quality of scent, longevity and the price doesn't hurt much either.

Definitely smells close to aventus but no projection and doesn't last more than an hour until I can't smell it anymore. Love the smell but performance is bad. Better off buying a 30 ml decant of aventus on ebay for $55

Aventus's little brother. Different enough to own on its own. Especially for the price. This is juicier than Aventus but doesn't last as long on skin. The bottle is very nice and fits great in your hand.

Cheap version of Aventus it smells good tho, the combination hold well together but with real week Longevity. only last for 2 hours max, this one has the worst longevity in my collection.

A very woody version of Aventus in my eyes. I do wish it had more pineapple, but i feel the same way about all the Aventus clones. Good one though, especially for $20.

One of my favourite parfums, and it has an amazing 12h+ longevity on my skin. For the price this is a no brainer if you like fruity-smoky Aventus style fragrances

Just buy CDNIM and forget about any other clone!!! PS. I have both CDNIM and Insurrection II Pure so I know what I'm saying!

Very similar to Creed Aventus. Expensive smelling with decent packaging. Happy to have this.
